A/N: This is an AU with no quirks.
Most of the troubling scenes won't be described graphically. Kirishima will be explaining stuff that happened to him in more detail, however, after he's rescued.
WARNING: This chapter contains kidnapping, violence, non-consensual kissing, choking, and implied rape.
Although they had only known each other for several months, it was hard for Kirishima to remember a time when Kaminari hadn't been in his life. The two of them had grown closer than anyone else in their first year of high school, and they were practically inseparable.
Always able to make each other laugh, and there to brighten the darkest of days, they had a bond that many people would be envious over.
On one Friday night, as they sat in Kaminari's room playing video games, Kirishima was thinking about just how lucky he was to have his best friend in his life. Seeing him happy was all he needed to feel the same.
The blond was currently talking about a new game that had been released a few days prior.
"It looks so freaking awesome in the trailers! I have all the other games in the series, and have been waiting years for this one! Just imagining it on my shelf with the rest of the collection is giving me goosebumps!"
His golden eyes were shining with excitement as he went on, animated gestures accompanying his explanations.
Kirishima smiled as he went on, delighted to see his friend so passionate about something he enjoyed. His energy and bright personality were contagious.
The cheerful demeanor soon lessened, however, and Kaminari pouted as he sat down. "If only I wasn't so broke. I'll have to wait awhile before I can afford it." He sighed in disappointment.
"Aw man, I'm sorry." Kirishima pat him on the back, hating to see the sudden change in mood.
"It's alright. I'll just have to try and be patient. And in the meantime, we've still got other great games to play!" A wide grin came to his face, making Kirishima's heart skip a beat. Kaminari never failed to stay positive, even when things didn't go right. It was one of the things he really admired about him.
Kirishima nodded in response. "Speaking of which, you wanna play something else now?"
"Heck yeah!"
They hung out for a couple more hours before Kirishima suggested they call it a night. There was about an hour until curfew, and he had something to do before then.
He quickly made his way to his own room and looked up the number of the local game store. Wasting no time, he called to see if they had any copies of the game that Kaminari wanted in stock. Luckily, they did. Kirishima's wallet would be much lighter after this, but he didn't care. When had he ever bought a nice gift for Kaminari? It wasn't like he was going to do this all the time.
He made sure he had all the money he would need, then headed outside and to the shopping center.
The thought of Kaminari reacting to the game made his chest feel warm. He couldn't wait to see how thrilled he would be to receive it only a few days after its release, instead of the weeks or months it would have been otherwise. Kirishima would probably get a giant hug out of it, and that would be worth every penny spent.
Once Kirishima had exited the store, game in hand, he couldn't stop the wide grin on his face. This was guaranteed to make Kaminari's day when he saw it the next morning. Most of the day would probably be spent with the two of them playing it together, and Kirishima thought that sounded like the perfect Saturday.
"Excuse me. Do you have a second?" A deep voice suddenly called out.
Kirishima looked up in surprise and saw a man in obvious distress.
"Sorry to bother you, but I was wondering if you could help me out. I just got off work and realized my keys were missing. They must have fallen out of my pocket somewhere near my car. It's too dark to see very well, and my phone is inside, so I can't use the flashlight on it. Could you possibly light the area with yours while I look around?"
"Oh sure! I've gotta get back to my dorm soon, but I can spare a few minutes."
"Thanks a bunch! I'm seriously freaking out right now."
"It's no problem. I'm sure your keys are nearby."
The man led him behind the shopping center, where only a few cars were parked, and the area was dimly lit. They stopped when they came to a black van.
"This is it. I'm hoping they fell around here. If not, I'll have to check the path I took to the building."
Kirishima nodded and got his phone out, turning the flashlight on. He pointed it towards the ground, and helped to search for the keys.
After a couple of minutes went by with no luck, the man stood up, sighing. "Well, I don't wanna keep you any longer. I'll figure something out. Thanks for your time."
"You sure? I feel bad leaving you in this mess."
"It's fine. You should get back to your school. I don't wanna get you in trouble. I appreciate the assistance though."
"Well, alright. Good luck."
Kirishima was about to turn around, when a strong arm wrapped around both of his own, pinning them down by his side. Before he could yell out, a large hand covered his mouth. His eyes widened as he struggled to try and get free, the bag with the video game dropping to the ground.
The man who he had been helping let out a dark chuckle as he walked up to him. "Actually, I changed my mind. You could stay for awhile longer."
The two men had tied, gagged, and blindfolded him, then lay him across the backseats of the van. He squirmed around violently, screaming as loudly as he could, which wasn't very successful due to his mouth being closed.
The men laughed as they watched his helpless display.
"It's no use trying to escape. There's nothing you can do." This voice was new, as it belonged to the man who had first grabbed him.
The door shut, and he could hear the faint voices outside the vehicle.
"Pick that bag up. We don't wanna leave any evidence behind," the first man instructed.
They both got in, the bag being thrown in the back, which landed on Kirishima's back. His heart began pounding in his chest once the engine started, and they soon took off.
The second man turned around in the front passenger seat, smirking. "The windows are tinted, so good luck trying to get anyone's attention on the road."
This couldn't be happening. He had never feared for his safety when going out alone at night before. He lived in one of the safest places in the world, and he had gone out like this plenty of times before.
It was his instinct to help people in need, and he always tried to see the best in everyone. It didn't even cross his mind that there could be any ill intentions behind this.
He was terrified, not knowing what was going to happen next, or if there would be any chance to get away. He was strong, but had been defenseless against his captors. He dreaded whatever would be in store for him.
At one point during the drive, the van had come to an abrupt stop, sending Kirishima rolling forwards. He groaned as he hit the floor, lodged in a cramped space between it and the seats. This only caused laughter from the two up front.
They drove for what felt like an eternity. The engine finally turning off, accompanied by doors opening, signaled that they had reached their destination.
Kirishima felt himself being lifted up out of the van, and wasted no time trying to break free. He thrashed around as much as he could in the restraints, his head bashing forward and into the first man's chin.
"Ow! You little bitch! You'll pay for that!"
He gripped Kirishima's hair tightly, pulling his head back so that he couldn't move it. He and his partner carried him, the sound of a door being unlocked and opened soon heard. They were moving once again, and he could tell they were descending. They must have been taking him to the basement.
Moments later, he felt himself being set on a hard surface, his shoulders being roughly held down. Then the blindfold was removed, revealing his panicked eyes.
The man who had tricked him was standing in front of him, an obnoxious grin on his face. It was only now, in better lighting, that he got a good look at him. He had short, shaggy black hair, with some grays in it, dark gray eyes, and stubble, with a tall and slender body.
"Aw, what's the matter? Scared?" He took the gag off next, and Kirishima yelled at the top of his lungs.
"HELP! SOMEONE, PLEASE!"
The raven-haired man laughed. "You didn't think I'd let you shout without precautions now, did you? This room is soundproof. You can call for help as much as you want. No one is going to hear you."
Kirishima was feeling helpless, but he tried his best to look brave. He frowned and spoke, his voice shaking. "M-My friends and the staff at my school are going to come looking for me! Y-You'll be arrested!"
"Isn't that cute Sadao?" He looked up at his accomplice. "He thinks we're going to be caught and put in jail."
They both laughed, and Kirishima's hair was gripped once again, his face being pulled toward the man in front of him. He wrinkled his nose in disgust at the smell of cigarette breath. An instant later he was forced into a rough kiss. He yelped in alarm and tried to pull back, but the hands on his shoulders and hand in his hair prevented him from moving. An eager tongue slid into his mouth, and he took the opportunity to bite down on it as hard as possible.
The man quickly pulled away, holding his mouth. "AH! SON OF A BITCH!"
Kirishima spit blood onto the floor, glaring at his abductor. "Go to Hell!"
"That was a big mistake," Sadao stated, his tone sending chills down the teen's spine.
A hiss of pain was uttered from across the room. "Get him ready while I go take care of this." He went up the stairs, cursing.
Kirishima was suddenly turned around and slammed down onto the table he was on, his face pushed into the hard metal. One hand was placed firmly on his back, and the other got a pocket knife out, using it to cut the ropes off of his arms. He was then flipped onto his back, and his right arm was immediately strapped into place against the table. He panicked and used his left hand to try and take the knife, but all he managed to do was knock it onto the floor.
A deep sigh was heard as his left arm was grabbed and strapped down. "You're only making this harder for yourself."
The knife was picked up, and the ropes on Kirishima's feet were cut off next, one leg pinned down while the other was being strapped to prevent kicking. When both were secure, Sadao leered down at him. He was a little taller than his partner, and extremely muscular, with a light brown buzz cut and eyes to match.
Kirishima's stomach dropped as the knife was brought up to his face.
"No, don't!"
"Shut up." Sadao commanded as he grabbed him by the throat. Kirishima's pupils dilated in fear as he felt his oxygen supply being cut off. He threw his head from side to side, which only made the hand tighten more. Tears welled up in his eyes as he gasped for air that he wasn't getting. This went on for about thirty seconds before his neck was finally released. He inhaled
deeply, coughing as he did so.
Once he caught his breath, he shut his eyes tightly, whispering "please" repeatedly. His cries were ignored, and he soon felt something sharp cut into the skin right above his right eye. He screamed out in pain, shaking his head.
"N-No more!"
"Keep acting up and there'll be more of that on other places," Sadao threatened.
Kirishima shook with sobs as he felt the fabric of his shirt being cut. He opened his left eye, watching in horror as the front was cut open.
"Oh God, no, no, please... I-I'll give you anything! I-I have money!"
Sadao laughed. "I know. You're going to make us plenty of money. But first, we're going to have some fun with you ourselves." He pulled each half of the shirt to the side so that Kirishima's torso was exposed. He ran his hand down his chest and stomach, licking his lips. "Gorgeous."
Kirishima shuddered, shaking his head. "No, no, I-I'm begging you!"
Footsteps were heard as the raven-haired man returned. "Seems like you're ready to pay me back for what you did." He walked up to Kirishima, grabbing him by the hair. It was pulled so hard that it felt like it would be ripped from his scalp. He winced, closing his eyes again. "Look at me."
He refused, until a finger was pressed harshly against his throat. His eyes shot open in terror. "N-No, I'm sorry!"
"Good, you're learning to obey now." The pressure on his neck was removed, and the lanky man cupped his cheek. "Since we're going to be spending so much time together, we should introduce ourselves. My name is Taji, but you're to refer to me as Sir, got it?"
Kirishima nodded, shaking fiercely. His hair was pulled again and he whimpered.
"Say, 'Yes, I understand Sir,'" he growled dangerously.
Kirishima swallowed hard. "Y-Yes Sir, I understand."
Taji grinned in satisfaction. "And what's your name cutie?" He asked, trailing a finger down from his cheek to his chest.
"K-Kirishima."
"Your first name," he snarled.
Tears rolled down his cheeks as he took a few shaky breaths.
"E-Eijirou."
"Well, get used to it here, Eijirou, because this is going to be your new home. And for your sake, try not to piss me off." He leaned down, kissing him on the lips, this time not getting any protest. "Hm, good boy. Now the real fun begins."
Kirishima's heart started racing as Taji joined Sadao at the end of the table by his feet. Sadao removed the restraints from them, then reached up to undo the button and zipper on Kirishima's pants.
The teen's breathing quickened as his pants and boxers were pulled down, then tossed aside. Taji removed his own, trading spots with Sadao as he grabbed Kirishima's legs.
Red eyes widened in pure terror as the two men stared hungrily at him. "Let's get started."
The next morning, everyone at U.A. made their way to the cafeteria for breakfast. Kaminari joined Bakugou, Sero, and Ashido at their usual table.
"Mornin' guys."
They each gave their reply, then resumed eating.
"Kirishima's not here yet?"
Sero shook his head. "Nope. He's not usually the last one to arrive."
"He probably overslept," Mina explained. "I'm sure he'll be here soon."
Several minutes went by, and there was still no sign of the redhead. Kaminari got his phone out. "I'm gonna call him."
He pulled up Kirishima's contact and called the number, listening to it ring several times before going to voicemail. "He didn't answer. I'll try again." He got the same outcome, hanging up in frustration.
"He must be really out of it," Sero said.
"I'll go check on him after breakfast. I hope he isn't sick."
The group finished eating, Kaminari heading straight to Kirishima's room. He knocked a few times. "Kirishima? You up?" He got no response, and knocked again. Nothing. He frowned and jiggled the doorknob, finding it unlocked. "I'm coming in!"
He walked in, eyes going right to the bed. It was empty and unmade. "Kirishima? You in here?" He turned around, looking in all corners of the room, but his friend was nowhere to be found.
He took his phone back out and hurriedly sent a group text.
"Guys, Kirishima's not in his room."
A/N: This is my first time writing something so intense, and I'm doing my best to depict what's happening. It's a challenge though.
And yeah, the cut on Kirishima's eye is how he gets the scar in this AU.
I feel so terrible right now. I know there will be a happy ending, and I have all these heartwarming things planned, but it was still hard to write this.
