"Did Olivia tell you how late they would be?"

Amanda put down the menu she was previously reading and looked at the other person at the table, opposite the blonde detective sat Casey Novak. Casey and Amanda had been going out for several months after meeting at a bunch session organised by the spanking group they were both a member off.

Currently Amanda and Casey were sitting in a cosy Mexican restaurant down-town, the couple had organised to meet Sergeant Benson and her wife Alex Cabot. Amanda and Olivia meet up with their partners once a month to share stories and discuss new techniques they had tried or heard about. Alex and Casey had their own conversations usually about how mean their partners are and if possible where they would dispose of the most hated paddles and belts.

Amanda smiled gently at Casey while reaching out to hold her hand.

"No darling she did not. Let's hope they do not take long." Amanda had a thought and her eyebrow began to raise. "Why are you interested in their whereabouts Case?"

Casey began to squirm on her side and before she could answer her stomach rumbled and gurgled loudly, announcing to Amanda that it had not been fed since breakfast. Amanda glared at Casey - skipping meals is one of Casey's bad habits that Amanda was addressing by applying multiple implement's to Casey's bare bottom.

"Cassandra. I will only ask you this question once so choose your answer carefully." Amanda's voice was low and stern. "Did you have lunch today?"

Casey cleared her throat it was going to take all her skill as an lawyer to get away with not eating lunch (again) and lying to Amanda about it (again).

"Well lunch can be described as a meal or food prepared and ea-.." Casey was presenting her case to her girlfriend before Amanda delivered her verdict.

Amanda still had a hold of Casey's hand she give it a firm squeeze as a result Casey stopped speaking. Amanda stared at her.

" The answer is only one word Casey - yes or no."

Casey start to squirm in her seat again, a tell tale sign that Amanda was not going to like the answer.

"..Yes?.." Casey mumbled her eyes fixated on the carpet of the restaurant a natural beige with flecks of a medium brown going through it.

"You sound unsure about that answer darling, are you sure it's the answer you are going with?"

Casey nodded but her graze remained on the floor. Casey couldn't look at her girlfriend because if she did then the truth would come bursting out of her mouth. She wouldn't be able to maintain her lie while gazing into the beautiful blue eyes of her girlfriend, blue eyes that changed their hue according to the Detectives mood.

Amanda sighed.

"Well then Darling looks like we are going to take a trip to Beth's Boutique after this."

Casey's eyes snapped up to look at her girlfriend, her eyes already filling and her squirming increasing.

"Why?" Casey quietly whined.

"Because you lied to me. Your stomach betrayed you darling, a tummy only sounds like that when it hasn't had food in it for a long time. So we are going to Beth's after dinner but how long we spent their is up to you - Did you lie to me Casey? Did you skip lunch today?"

Casey nodded.

"Y-Yes Amanda. I lied to you about eating lunch but, BUT I didn't mean to! Work just got really busy and I kept saying after this report I will stop for lunch but then I looked up at it was 4;30 pm and I had to meet you at home at 5pm a-a-and you hate me being late..."

Amanda moved to the chair beside Casey and put and arm around her. Amanda starting rubbing her girlfriends arm and making quiet shushing noises to calm the panicking red head.

"Breathe Darling, in through your nose and out through your mouth. You are ok. I love you."

Eventually Casey got her breathing under control and apologised to Amanda for lying to her about eating lunch.

*BEEP BEEP*

"Sorry Darling one second. That's my phone it might be work, or Olivia."

Amanda had one new message on her phone it was from Olivia stating she was on her way with a very sore and sorry Alex. Olivia promised to explain when she got to the restaurant.
