Bride of the werewolf
Hermione is claimed by Scabior. Will she adjust to life with the wolves or give up her babies as a hint of rescue shows up on the horizon?
The Trio had been captured, identified and taken to Malfoy Manor. It wasn't Potter or even Weasley who gave it away, it was Granger. Apparently, months earlier, Scabior had scented her. Even though she was invisible to him, he could smell a scent that shouldn't have been there. He'd mentioned it to Fenrir later and they'd both gone back to that area. The scent was still there, faint but there, proving to Scabior that he wasn't losing his mind. Then they had a sort of lucky break. Scabior had found a scarf, tied to a tree. Unbelievably, it had the same scent that he had caught months earlier! From then on, he was determined to FIND THAT GIRL! Every capture they made, the first thing he would do was smell the hair of any girl in the group. They'd had no luck until, purely by chance, the Trio had popped into the center of them before they could set up camp, coincidentally very near where the scarf had been left. Fenrir knew, he KNEW, as soon as he saw the look on his boy's face, this was the girl he'd been tracking!
Scabior was elated but worried. Even though he was the Snatcher leader, Fenrir was his Alpha. He wanted the girl desperately but, as Alpha, Fenrir had first claim to her. Fenrir, sifting through what he knew of the girl and looking at her now, could see her potential. She could be a valuable addition to his pack but he wasn't interested in her himself. She was too young for him BUT she was the perfect age for Scabior. Normally it was the Alpha's duty to produce the heirs who would follow him but he'd already produced five heirs, only one of whom was still living, Scabior. He had already declared Scabior as the next Alpha. There would be no need to for his pack to worry about their leadership. He was ready to pass the torch of producing heirs to his Beta, currently Scabior.
He determined, since she was 'only' a mudblood, to ask Bella if the Dark Lord would consider rewarding his wolf pack with the girl. He knew if they suspected it was only Scabior wanting the girl, they'd be sure and take great pleasure in killing her in front of him. Letting them think Scabior and the other males were all wanting a piece of her might have the result he was looking for. As he considered that idea, he knew there was a possibility that he, himself, might have to take a turn riding the girl in order to secure her. The girl was thrown into the basement and the boys kept upstairs. Unfortunately for the boy-who-lived, the Dark Lord was actually there, for once. As he was pinned against the wall, the Dark Lord began throwing the Crucio at him, time and again. The ginger fell victim to the Crucio from both Bella and Dolohov. They were both being tortured, not in preparation for death but just for the sheer fun of hearing their screams. As they laughed wildly, throwing the curses, Fenrir set his plan in motion. As Bella stopped to rest for a moment, Fenrir stepped forward. "Bella, what are his plans for the mudblood?" he asked quietly.
"She's to be killed. She's of no use to him, why, dearest?" Bella leaned back against Fenrir. They had spent many a pleasurable night together.
"While we were on our way here, all my boys were looking for any excuse to rub up against her. They wanted to roll her so bad they couldn't stand it. If he's not interested in keeping her alive, could my boys go down and take a couple of turns on her before he kills her?" Fenrir breathed into her ear. His arms slid around her, one hand went to her hip, the other lay against the underside of her bust.
Bella suddenly lost interest in torturing the ginger, she was now more interested in leading Fen upstairs and bedding him. "Just a moment, dear, hold that thought." She purred, pressing his hand firmly over her bust. Fen smiled and nodded. Bella walked over to Voldemort.
"My Lord, I think we should reward Fen's group for bringing us Potter." She said respectfully.
"What kind of reward were we thinking about, Bella?" he asked as he readied himself to torture the boy some more. Potter had already passed out two times and was just stirring again.
"The mudblood, my Lord. She's of no use to us, right? Only Potter and the ginger. Let them have the mudblood. Fenrir said they were itching to throw her down and roll her all the way here." Bella mentioned. "Before you kill her, they would like to go down and ride her a couple of times."
"Tell young Scabior to bring her upstairs, bite her and rape her right here in front of Potter and Weasley. Let the last thing they see be her being Marked and rutted." With that, Voldemort promptly went back to torturing the boy, without missing a beat.
Bella turned to Greyback and smiled. "She's all yours, but your boy Scabior has to Mark her and rut her, right here in front of everyone. I would suggest that you also put your pack mark on her. That will leave no doubt of her new ownership status."
Fenrir glanced over to find Scabior's eyes lit up with hope. He'd heard every word Bella said. He grinned at the boy and nodded toward the basement. Scabior nodded and headed down to get his girl. He lightly ran down the stairs and came to the gate. He saw her standing back against the wall beside Luna. He opened the gate and motioned her. She was shivering with fear. "Come on, girl, now!"
She shook her head. He softly growled at her. "Come on. Now!"
"No!" she cried, clinging to Luna. He huffed angrily and walked into the basement. He grabbed her arm and yanked her towards him as he took his other hand, put it on Luna's chest, just below her neck, and shoved her backwards. Mr. Ollivander caught Luna before she impacted the wall. They both glared angrily at the werewolf. He bared his teeth and snarled at them, forcing them back a step in sudden fear. "Say goodbye to the little darling, it's the last time you'll ever see her." He grinned wickedly at them. He pulled Hermione out of the basement, fighting and scratching all the way.
Hermione sobbed as she was dragged up the stairs. 'Surely they weren't going to do that?! Please, god, let this be a nightmare! Surely she wasn't about to die, torn to pieces by two werewolves!'
As she was thrown into the drawing room, she saw Harry, still stretched out on the wall, screaming in agony. Voldemort was laughing as he continued to throw the Cruciatus at Harry. She saw Ron curled up in agony as Dolohov threw the Cruciatus at him.
Bella stood there, leaning against Greyback. She straightened up and motioned him over to Hermione. Scabior snarled as he threw her down at Greyback's feet. As both wolves knelt and bit her, her last thought before everything went black was 'How did it all go so wrong?'
Voldemort and Dolohov stopped in time for both Harry and Ron to look over and see Hermione laying there, both wolves biting her. "No," screamed Ron as he watched the girl he loved being mauled by the wolves. Harry screamed wordlessly. 'It was all his fault. He should never have agreed to them going with him!'
Now Ron was being tortured and Hermione, dear god, what were they doing?! He stared in horror as the younger wolf stripped her pants down and climbed over her. He loosened his own pants and revived her, in time for her to scream loudly as he pushed into her. Greyback stood, walked back and rejoined Bella who pulled him behind her as she wrapped his arms around her and leaned her head back on his shoulder. He placed a lingering kiss to her cheek, then propped his chin on her shoulder. They watched the boys, crying out in helpless anger.
Scabior bit down into her shoulder again, deepening the mating mark he had already begun. He continued to screw the girl. 'Damn it all, she was so fucking tight! He was about to lose his fucking mind!' Hermione screamed and cried as he held her legs higher, in order to sink deeper into her. He groaned into her neck as he felt himself getting closer to the edge. His weight was pressing down on her heavier and heavier. Just as she thought she was about to be crushed under him, she felt him gripping her hips tightly, grinding against her and growling into her neck. Then he stopped moving and lay against her, panting rapidly. "You're mine and I'm never letting you go." He whispered into her ear, so softly she almost didn't hear him. She turned her head to see him staring at her with amber flaked blue eyes. She couldn't keep her eyes open any longer. She felt herself losing consciousness again.
After seeing their friend attacked, Harry and Ron were devastated. Hermione had passed out from the pain and Scabior had been ordered to take her up and choose a room. He would have the rest of the night to take the mudblood any way he wanted to. Fen and Bella left shortly after they did, eager to get their own night started. Voldemort and Dolohov resumed torturing the boys as the rest of the Death Eaters watched. In the early hours of the morning, they finally put the almost dead boys into the basement to 'recover' from the night's activities.
Scabior had taken the first room he came to. He tossed his girl on the bed and undressed. He peeled her clothes the rest of the way off and knelt there beside her on the bed. He just wanted to look at her and admire her beauty for a moment. She was extremely slender, he noticed. He'd have to make sure she got plenty to eat, especially if she were going to be carrying pups anytime soon. If he had his way about it, that little ride downstairs was his first try at getting pups into her. They'd know in just a short month or two if he'd succeeded. If the first time hadn't worked, well, he had the rest of the night to make up for it.
As he noticed her shivering, he reached behind him, pulled up the heavy covers and laid down on her. He buried his face in her hair, then lapped gently at the mating mark. As expected, she began moaning and opened her eyes. Catching sight of him, she jumped, only to realize there was no way to escape. He had her pinned down, exactly where he wanted her, underneath him. "I had to hurt you, the first time. If I hadn't, they would have killed us both, I wasn't about to have Fen watching his youngest pup die because he couldn't rape a little mudblood." He told her roughly.
Her eyes widened. Out of that whole statement, all she was wondering about was three words. "Fen's youngest pup? Fenrir Greyback is your dad?"
"Yeah, Fen's my dad. His late bonded mate was my mother. I'm a natural born werewolf." He confirmed.
"They would have killed you if you didn't rape me?" she whispered. He shrugged, looking uneasy. As she started to ask more questions, he suddenly kissed her. She didn't talk anymore for the rest of the night, except for moans of pain until she was sufficiently stretched. Then they turned into sounds of pleasure, followed by her screaming his name over and over.
Down the hall, Fen and Bella could hear them quite clearly. "Well, they seem to be enjoying each other now," Bella murmured lazily as she laid against Fenrir. Not even her husband could satisfy her like Fen could.
"As much experience as that boy has from chasing the females, she should be enjoying herself by now." He chuckled softly.
"Will you be keeping her with you or taking her back to your camp?" Bella asked, as she played with the fingers of his right hand.
"She'll be left at camp. Now that the Dark Lord has the Potter boy, the war should over fairly soon, yeah?" Fen raised up on his left arm, looking down at her.
"I won't be seeing you anymore, will I?" Bella looked almost ready to cry. Fen laid back down. "Of course, you will. However often you want to see me, I'll be here. Just let me know." Bella smiled up at him. She wrapped her arms around him and they enjoyed each other for the rest of the night.
She wasn't about to say anything, anytime soon, but she strongly suspected that she was very close to being in love with Fenrir Greyback. It had started out as a one night stand. He was there as she was fighting with Rodolphus. Her husband had just bragged to her about another conquest falling pregnant, mocking Bella for her barrenness. Hurt and furiously angry, she had gone into the meeting room and grabbed the arm of the first handsome man she saw. As it turned out, that man was Fenrir. The next time she had seen him, she couldn't resist dragging him off to bed again. Soon every time they brought a load of important prisoners, the Snatchers were persuaded by way of food, drink and warm beds to stay a couple of nights. When they did, Fen was always invited into her bed.
That being said, it was basically an open secret of their relationship. Voldemort was amused and the other Death Eaters, barring her husband and his brother, accepted it without question. The young Scabior quickly became everyone's second favorite wolf as he was always with his father, Greyback himself being the Dark Lord's favorite wolf.
The next morning, Hermione woke up as she felt herself being submerged into water. She gasped and sat up straight, then quickly ducked back down as she realized she wasn't alone in the huge tub. Scabior was sitting behind her and softly laughed at her. "I've seen it all, darling, why so shy now?"
"I don't know you and I've always been taught to not show myself to anyone except my husband!" she popped off defiantly.
Scabior laughed in delight. "So, we'll be married soon, yeah? Because nobody else is ever going to see you like this, except maybe our pups." He suddenly pulled her close, kissed her and turned her, in his lap, to face him. He lifted her up, and positioned her to sink down on him. She gasped and threw back her head, trying to stifle a moan of pleasure. He latched onto her mark and pretty soon she found herself fighting a losing battle. After they both went over the edge, he pulled her from the tub, dried her and repaired the clothes he had torn off of her last night. As they exited the room, they met Fen and Bella in the hallway. Bella was hanging onto Fen's arm. He smiled knowingly at Hermione who blushed bright red. Bella laughed, "No need to be shy, dearie. We have to get our pleasure while we can. They'll be back in the fray and we'll be left to worry until we see them again." She pulled Fen's face down to hers. That's when Hermione realized she and Fen must have spent the night together as well.
They came down into the same drawing room where she had lost her innocence. The screams announced that, once again, Harry and Ron were being tortured. The Dark Lord stopped long enough for Harry to register Hermione's presence. The boy saw her, tucked under the werewolf Snatcher's arm. She was peering at him tearfully. The Snatcher pulled her through the room hurriedly, almost as if he was afraid the Dark Lord would go back on his word.
"Hermione! I'll find you! Don't worry, he won't have you long! I'll rescue you!" Harry screamed as Hermione did her best to twist around and keep him in sight as long as possible. Harry watched as the other boy gripped her possessively and glared angrily at him. Then they were out of sight as they left the Manor. Fen and Bella shared one last, long, lingering kiss before he followed the young couple out the door.
Outside, the Snatchers were loaded up and ready to go. They all Disapparated and reappeared in a meadow. Hermione looked around. She had no earthly clue where they were. She didn't even know if they were even in England any more. She looked up at Scabior. He nodded ahead. "Home, sweet home, darling. Let's get you settled in." they walked across the meadow and up a hill. On the other side, in a valley, sat a large group of houses. The people began cheering as the Snatchers walked in. Hermione was confused until a light bulb seemed to go off in her head. The whole group of Snatchers were werewolves! This was their home! She watched as the women and children ran to them, greeting their spouses, their fathers. Fen suddenly let loose a loud howl of joy. The whole village joined in, Scabior included.
The women were staring at her in open curiosity. Some of the older children boldly came up to her sniffing her arms, then running back to their mothers. The younger children crowded behind their mothers' legs and watched her warily. She smiled at them tentatively. Scabior showed her over to a house. It looked like the second biggest in the village. She was guessing it was the Beta's house. It was right beside what she assumed was the Alpha's house. This, then was her new 'home'. She wasn't given an opportunity to look around as Scabior guided her in the door. He immediately picked her up, carried her into the bedroom and picked up where they'd left off at Malfoy Manor.
Two years, five escape attempts, five near death beatings (administered by Greyback) and two children with two more on the way, had Hermione admitting defeat. She would never get out of here. Bonded to Scabior, turned soon after they brought her to camp, she discovered she was pregnant two months into their relationship. She could finally see there was no way out. She had two bites on her but only one was a mating mark. Scabior had explained that the other merely showed which Alpha male was her leader. He was her mate and the father of her children. She had hoped that he would began getting bored with her and decide that he needed a new mate. Nope. So far, he was still as fascinated and obsessed with her as he ever was during the war. Of course, if he ever did decide he was bored enough to actually let her leave, it would be without her precious babies. Scabior might not feel attached to her but she knew he would never, ever allow her to take his babies out of camp, not without him right there beside them.
Hermione was sitting with the other females, watching her children play. Fenrir and Scabior were talking, just a few short feet away. She looked up in time to meet Scabior's eyes. He smiled and started her way. 'Oh, surely not! They had already spent all morning in bed!' but she recognized the look in his eyes. 'Yes, indeed. He was coming over to drag her back to the cabin, into bed.'
Suddenly he stopped, raised his head and right hand and sniffed. He whipped around to look at Fen who had stiffened. They both walked in the direction of the unknown scent. The other males tightened into a circle with Hermione, the other females and the children in the center. Through the gaps in the line, she spotted a familiar figure. It was Remus Lupin! She marveled at the thought of him still being alive. After she was taken from the Manor, she had assumed that Harry and Ron had been killed. Neither Fenrir nor Scabior had bothered to let her know any different. She had thought the war was over, Voldemort had won and the whole order killed.
Fenrir strode to meet Lupin with Scabior right beside him. His eyes were narrowed at the other wolf. Lupin should rightly have been one of his adopted pups but the fool refused to acknowledge his wolf side. By rejecting it, he also rejected Greyback. Fenrir wondered why he was here now. He suspected his Beta's mate might be a part of it, if not the whole reason.
"Greyback, Scabior." Lupin greeted them calmly, as if he hadn't just strolled into enemy territory.
"Lupin." Greyback nodded. Scabior was silent. Lupin looked at him. Two years had done the boy good. Last time he'd seen him, the boy was as scrawny as Harry and Ron. That had been at the Battle of Hogwarts, two years ago. He had grown into his good looks and broad shoulders. He was shirtless, same as Greyback and Lupin could clearly see he was all muscle.
"I'm here to ask if I might see Hermione. Harry and Ron would like to visit her." He requested.
"No!" Scabior snapped but Greyback held up his hand. Scabior looked at him in protest. "Fen! No! They'll be trying to take her away from me!"
Greyback pulled the youngster away from Lupin. "Listen to me! NOBODY is going to take your girl away from you, you know why?" Scabior frowned. "Those babies, Scabior, she won't leave those babies. And she won't leave you! That girl won't admit it but she's as crazy about you as you are about her. Let them see her, reassure themselves that she's ok. They may try to talk her into leaving but she won't go." Fen patted the young man on the back and pulled him into a one armed hug as they went back to Lupin.
"Sure, they can see her but she doesn't leave this camp." He stared Lupin down. Remus nodded. It was a vast improvement over the last time he'd made this request. Two years ago, they had both flatly refused and Disapparated before anyone could follow them. He looked past them to where he could see Hermione. She looked well.
Hermione could see Remus looking at her. Sitting down as she was, it was hard to tell her pregnancy but as soon as she stood up, it would be obvious that she was, once more, carrying pups. She felt a light hand on her shoulder and glanced behind her. It was Bellatrix, come to see what the commotion was. It had surprised her two years ago when Fenrir and Scabior came back, announcing the war was over but never telling her who had won or lost. That the war was over was no surprise but the fact that Bella came back with them, clinging to Fen's arm was a huge surprise. She had actually managed to bond with her, though, much to the delight of both Fen and Scabior. The biggest surprise had been the fact that Bella, who had thought herself barren, discovered a short month later that she was pregnant and had given Fen three young daughters. The alpha male doted on his girls and adored his mate. Bella was truly his mate, having been widowed when Rodolphus was killed in the Battle of Hogwarts. She, like Hermione, had been turned shortly after coming to camp. She and Hermione were now loved by the entire camp as the Alpha and Beta females. Hermione wasn't sure whether she was there because Voldemort had lost or won. Neither the men nor Bella apparently thought she needed to know.
Scabior came through the line and picked up his two little boys in one arm. He took her hand, helped her up and caught her against him. He led her back to Remus, who looked shocked. She ducked her head as she laid her hand against her distended stomach. She could feel her newest babies rolling and tumbling inside her. She slipped her arm around Scabior and reached out to smooth the hair of their children.
Remus stared sadly at Hermione. For all that she was smiling, he could see the sadness in her eyes. Knowing the wolves had kept her isolated from the world, he knew she was surprised by his presence. Which meant, in turn, she was also going to be shocked by the rest of his news. He watched as she lovingly touched her boys' hair and unconsciously cuddled into Scabior. The boy was crazy about her, he could see that much, but she also had strong feelings about him. Remus knew it might not be love she was feeling but she couldn't hide the way she stayed close to him.
The little boys were a stunning mix of him and her. They were the picture of their young father with their mother's riotous curls. They were going to be heartbreakers when they grew up. Scabior held them protectively as he brought Hermione out of the circle. Remus was shocked again when he saw Bellatrix Lestrange in the circle with three little girls clinging to her skirts. They were the very picture of Fenrir Greyback but with Bella's curls. Bella stared defiantly at him, chin held proudly high.
"Remus?" Hermione was still not sure whether she was actually seeing him or just imagining him.
"Hermione, sweetie, it's so good to see you! It's been a while. How have you been? Have they been treating you ok?" he asked, ignoring Scabior's irritated growl. Hermione smoothed her hand down his arm, calming him down. Remus noticed that with interest.
"And who are these two handsome little gents?" he asked her. She smiled brightly.
"This is Sebastian and Alexander. They're two years old." The little boys gazed at Remus warily. They could feel their father's tension. He smiled at them. They hid their faces against their father's chest. He looked back at Hermione. He noted she was pregnant again.
"Remus, what happened at the Battle? Who won? Did, Is, I mean," she closed her eyes and took a deep breath. "Harry?" she opened her eyes and gazed at him hopefully.
"Didn't they tell you, Hermione? I see Bellatrix over there, surely she told you?" Remus was confused. How was it that she didn't know what had happened? Hadn't Fenrir or Scabior told her anything? Hadn't Bella said anything? He looked at Scabior and was astonished to see him glaring angrily. Fenrir stood back, tightlipped and Bella was gliding to his side, her children held against her.
"Hermione, sweetie, Harry won! He defeated Voldemort! He and Ron were able to escape from Malfoy Manor and they went into hiding. They were in very bad shape after they got away. Bill kept them safe until they were better, then they went back into action. They finally told us what you three had been up to. We helped them when and where we could but without the snake there, we couldn't completely help them. I wish you could have seen the Battle, Hermione. It was a huge success, especially when Bella, Greyback and Scabior all three turned on the Death Eaters." Hermione turned to Scabior, mouth agape.
"Scabior! Yu helped the Order?!" she threw her arms around him and squeezed. "You helped Harry?!"
"Not like we had a great future with old snake face." Scabior muttered. She laughed and kissed his cheek. He ducked his head and looked away. Remus watched in amusement as his dark skin darkened slightly further in embarrassment. Obviously he'd never intended to tell her that. Bella and Fen looked on, amused.
"Harry and Ron would like to see you. They are outside the wards, waiting. I'll only bring them in if it's alright with you, though. They also wanted to know if you wanted to go find your parents and bring them home." He told her. She was conflicted about seeing them but her eyes filled with tears at the thought of her parents. She'd thought of them for years, assuming she'd never see them again. Now, though, a chance was being dangled in front of her.
She wanted to see them so bad but she didn't want to hurt Scabior. She knew he thought she hated him. After all, attempting to escape five times in a row didn't bode well for gaining his trust. That wasn't true, though, not anymore. She wasn't sure how or when it happened but she had fallen in love with him. She'd never told him that but she knew she'd never leave him, not that he'd believe her. She would love for her parents to be able to meet him and their grandchildren. She didn't know if he would willingly leave the wards, though. For the past two years, neither he nor Fen or even Bella had left the wards. She didn't know if that meant they were wanted in the outside world or if they just felt safer behind the wards.
She looked at Scabior again. His face was expressionless. She'd quickly figured out that was when he was most vulnerable. He wouldn't show her how he felt about anything until he'd ascertained how she felt about it. Right now, he was more than likely panicking, thinking she was going to jump at the chance to get away from him. "If I wanted you to help me find my parents, would you? I'd like them to meet you and the boys."
He blinked slowly and nodded. Remus smiled. There was not a doubt, in his mind, that this boy would refuse Hermione anything she wanted. She had him tied around her little finger, she just didn't realize it. Hermione turned to Remus. "Bring them on in. We'll be waiting for them." Remus nodded as he turned to leave.
Hermione cupped Scabior's face. "I'm not going to leave but I need to see them. They were my best friends. I have to let them see that I'm alright or they'll never let me go. Once they see I don't need or want to be rescued, they will be able to move on with their own lives." He laid his face down in her hair, breathing deeply, feeling his heart race with fear. He didn't WANT those boys anywhere near her! They were going to try and take her away from him, he just knew it! But, after seeing her joy at the sight of Remus, he knew seeing those two was going to be a foregone conclusion. All he could do was wait to see and hope to Merlin, she was telling him the truth about not leaving him. He was pretty sure the whole camp knew he was completely head over heels in love with her. If she really did leave him, he'd most likely turn into a complete nutter and they'd have to put him out of his misery!
Remus apparated to the outermost part of the wards and passed through them. Harry and Ron were pacing back and forth anxiously. They had been trying to trace Fenrir and Scabior ever since the battle. It had surprised everyone when they, along with Bellatrix Lestrange, had turned on the Death Eaters, protecting Harry while he battled Voldemort. After the fight was over, nobody realized that Bella had vanished before the two wolves. It was later discovered they had met her in Hogsmeade after the fight and all three of them had vanished into thin air. When he appeared, they both turned to him. He raised his hands.
"She's here. So is Bella. Before you go charging at her, though, there's a few things you need to know. Scabior is her mate. They have two children and she's expecting again. She won't leave him so don't ask her to. Bella and Fenrir are mates, too, it would seem." Harry rolled his eyes. He wasn't worried about Bellatrix Lestrange! It was Hermione he was worried about!
"Mated! With a bloody werewolf! Kids! What the hell?! We got to get her out of here, Harry!" Ron exclaimed. Harry and Remus both glared at him.
"Ron, you go in there with THAT attitude and they might very well shred you before I can get you back out! He LOVES her and she will not leave him, nor their children! Maybe you should stay out here." Remus snapped.
Ron looked sulkily contrite. "No! I want to go and see her, too. I'll keep quiet, I promise."
Harry and Ron each grabbed an arm and followed Remus through the wards. He apparated them to the edge of the clearing and they walked across to the crowd, still waiting on them. There was Hermione, standing beside Scabior. Harry was vividly reminded of that last morning because Scabior had her tucked against him again and was glaring at him. He saw the two little boys and smiled at their wild hair, not doubting for a moment which parent had passed that feature down. Finally he reached them.
"Harry!" he found himself almost bowled over as she threw herself into his arms. They were both teary eyed as they hugged tightly. He pulled back. "You're good, yeah? He treats you well?" she laughed softly.
"He treats me like a queen, Harry. Especially now, he's constantly telling me to stay off my feet and asking if I'm okay, do I need to be up and around?" Harry was glad to hear she wasn't being mistreated in any way. He nodded behind her at Bella and Fen. "The in laws? How do they treat you?"
"Early on, when I kept running after they first brought me here, was rough. But after that, I settled in and everyone was so welcoming, Harry! Now, I really can't imagine living anywhere else. I'm happy here, my babies are happy here. He takes such good care of us, Harry! He loves me and I love him!" she said softly. "He actually agreed to go help me find my parents. I told him I wanted them to meet him and the babies. I know the way we first met wasn't good, the second time in the drawing room was even worse but he explained that, Harry. He had to do that or Voldemort would have killed me and him both. He is Fen's only remaining son. He couldn't stand the thought of Fen watching his last pup die. Not after he'd already lost four sons to the Aurors. He made it up the rest of the night, though, he was so tender and gentle with me!"
Harry sighed. "He loves you and you love him? You really want to stay? You're not just saying that? You really, truly want to stay with him?" he asked her quite seriously. She nodded solemnly. She wasn't going to change her mind. "Well, then, I guess I'll need to see if Fen will add me into the wards. That way I can visit without having to drag Remus up here each time, yeah? Then we need to see when he wants to go find your parents." He laughed as she squealed happily and squeezed him.
True to his word, Ron hung back, not speaking but glaring venomously at Scabior who glared defiantly right back at him. Scabior was glad she'd apparently come to some kind of agreement with Potter but if this tosser kept on glaring, he was going to rip his fucking eyes out and send him home to mama with his tail between his legs!
Harry caught sight of the glare down between them and told her he'd better get Ron out of there while the going was good. He told her he'd send a message to Fenrir about the wards and to Scabior about when they were ready to go to Australia. Hermione smiled as she waved goodbye to Remus, not really caring that she hadn't even spoken to Ron.
She turned, walked over to her mate and put her arms around him and their babies. "I love you. I'm never going to leave you. Not unless you send me away." She whispered to him. Still holding their boys, he ran the other hand into her thick, wild hair. "I love you, too. I'm never sending you away from me, ever."
