Throughout the history of the Hunger Games, thousands and thousands of unique people were involved in the Games taking shape. Countless tributes, escorts, Mentors, Gamemakers, Specialty Gamemakers, Head Gamemakers and even numerous Presidents would all come together to create these Games.
During this project, I shall personally take you through each Games. Beforehand, I will inform you of any news from prior Victors that has accrued since the prior Hunger Games. I will then inform you, the reader, of the situation of Panem as a whole, and talk a bit about the President and what conditions in the nation may be like. Here, I will also talk about the Head Gamemaker as well as the Games host(s). From there, I will talk a bit about the arena and its features, before introducing the (usually) twenty-six tributes by talking about noteworthy ones in a paragraph above, and announcing their names, ages, Training Scores, and odds in district order below this paragraph. After this, I will take you through the Games, periodically checking up on each remaining tribute. Once the Victor is determined, there will be a brief overview on what the remainder of the Victor's life was like, before I end the chapter with a list of all of the Victors introduced thus far.
I should hope that this project will be informative, as well as a bit morbidly entertaining. Even though the Games were brutal and obviously mind-bogglingly morally wrong, I hope I seem enthusiastic enough and go into enough detail for you to not be inherently bored.
I do hope that this has been a decent enough introduction, and that you will enjoy my history project. If you have a weak stomach or are easily scared, however, I recommend that you do not go beyond this introduction. If that is not the case, then I do urge you to read on. I didn't do this whole thing for nothing, after all!
Feel free to now turn to the next chapter in order to get familiar with many of the terms I will be referencing throughout this lengthy project.
Enjoy your reading, and as always, may the odds be ever in your favor.

A/N: I know that I'm not the first one to do an intro like this, but I thought having the whole thing be a high schooler's history project would be kinda fun. Any thoughts on Cyprian?
Some of this story is based off of my now-defunct stories, Chances of Survival and The Hunger Games: Year By Year, while many other elements of the story are new content entirely. This story also takes some inspiration from some similar fics (that you should check out) such as 500 Years of Penance and 23 Cannons.
Until next time.
