The prophecy of old.
This adventure, no tale of a man, surrounded by death and chaos however never being touched by the temptations of a human souls' desire to; kill, rape and plunder.
For in this world no one but this legend can keep these terrible actions at bay. His name, in which is known throughout this world of; fantasy, horror, secrets, romance and above all death. For he is the man who walks alone trying to make a decrepit world seem worth living in and for this to happen he became Prophecy.
It is a chilling morning throughout the capital as the medieval people start chasing after so-called heroes. These heroes return after being chosen to help purge the monsters of this world by the order of the supreme church which rules over this large land.
As the heroes return from their adventure the people start to realise that they seem distraught with defeat as they ride their once mighty steeds which have been stripped of their crests and covered in blood, but with no wounds. As they ride in through the crowds the people have spotted a hooded figure with chains wrapped around their hands so tight the chains have been rusted by the figure's blood.
They drag this figure's slender body through the shocked peoples' expressive faces becoming hardened, releasing narrowing gazes. The people soon start to pick up clutter, and then start to bury the figure in random pieces of junk around the heroes. As they continue to approach the church, the figure stops to observe the view of the churches' pure white towers at the top almost grazing the very heavens they're supposed to serve.
During such, a young lad picks up a sharp grazed stone which he hurls towards this figure. As the stone is about to make contact with the person's hooded face the man then starts to circulate a black smoke through his right bloodied hand.
The heroes start to realise what the man is doing. Before the young lads rock manages to make contact, the hooded figure uses his right arm to snap the chains. This action created a giant wave of wind, so strong it split the very stone in half, clattering against the road and in coincidence revealing the figure to be a man almost magically, his so-called bodily figure is seen once presumed slender became refined like finely sculpted marble.
Before anyone could get a glimpse of the face, the man shields said face. At this moment the man stares down the heroes, as they saw the exact same eyes of a damn monster, literal glowing red eyes, on their mounted steeds, such a strong ominous stare that it even shook the horses. This in turn forced the heroes to fall down to the man's feet. The heroes then start to pray for forgiveness for the actions they have caused in the falsehood of pretending he was a prisoner to get past the city gates.
They weep and begged for him not to slaughter the people, their people.
In truth the soldiers were not his escorts, they were his.
The man soon takes his once bound hand against the youngest of the heroes faces, a white pale woman with dark brown eyes and flowing blonde hair, her body covered in worn out chain mail with blood stains which can be seen all over.
Then he grabs her by the cheek slowly and says "Forgiveness" and proceeds to laugh like a howling hyena. Through his laughter he continues to speak "What exactly is there to forgive you for having done nothing wrong, my dear". He spoke like an old gentleman, even with his appearance being so young.
The man then slowly takes his hand away from her and his face to reveal a mask, previously not there, perfectly around his face with bright crimson eyes. Down from his left eye there is a fresh/old glowing crimson diagonal cut near the bottom.
With the heroes in shock, the man takes this opportunity to walk onward. In a flash of golden light he disappears without a trace.
Very quickly however the man later reappears, on top of the church taking in the stunningly perfect view of the city. As he watches over the capital he hears a confident voice of a woman saying "I'm sure even the mighty Prophecy must find sitting here a tad boring for a man of his talents''.
He steadily turns his head to face the direction in which the womanly voice was speaking. To then reveal a gorgeous woman in her late twenties with pure red hair and blue dazzling eyes wearing the most incredible black feathered dress with a slight opening where her legs are.
After a quick stare "Good afternoon Miss Raven how goes the night, and might I say you're still a sight to behold". After hearing that Raven can be seen to blush and a smile to light up a room for a split moment. However this was short lived because she had to get on with her duties "Shall we proceed Prophecy?". He turns back to face the capital then states. "The only reason I came up here was because I knew you would follow me up here, I wanted to lay here with you and watch over the capital, if only for a few moments".
Then suddenly the man vanishes with a golden light only to reappear holding Raven in his arms, those which used to be injured and frail and which have now become healed and muscular. With a laugh he says "Yes, let us proceed''. With a quick moment he is jumping off the roof with her and murmurs a somewhat of a chant the two then burst into a dark black smoke screen like a shooting star which children would wish upon.
When Prophecy and Raven landed they gave off a devilish aura making everyone near them run away and panic, soon they turned their attention towards the front entrance of the church he spoke before taking his first step into the church "Are you ready?" Raven responded instantly "Always". Slinging an arm around his.
As they entered the church the two looked around keeping up their guard so that no surprises would happen, they progressed cautiously through this unexplored territory Raven comes to a halt "You know this is a trap right" Prophecy stops after hearing a swish " I'm an optimist I like to see the good in people instead of the bad".
Then in a split second a man wearing clothes of pure white like the church walls launched a surprise offence however it didn't faze Prophecy or Raven as if it was planned from the beginning he catches the assassins curved edge blade with his right arm which was covered in that mysterious black smoke again.
A few more swishes of wind came out from around Prophecy surrounding him quickly the other enemies launched another assault however a giant magnificent explosion occurred resulting in knocking all the enemy away and unconscious. After realising the shock wave throughout the church the head priest comes out creating a killing intent towards Prophecy and Raven.
They realise that man is the man in charge a look of trust is exchanged. Prophecy begins to start questioning the priest "How about you and me have a game of truths, you first obviously, did you send these so called 'heroes' to attack innocents in the name of God?". The priest straightened his spectacles and sorted his uniform "Of course for I am the speaker for God, now your turn, who are you including that gorgeous mistress." Raven feels disgusted by his words and gets ready to pounce however Prophecy raises his arm for her to calm down.
Prophecy releases his arm "I am Prophecy and my sword Raven have been sent by God himself to help exorcise this corrupt church which attacked me, also taking a hostage due to me beating them in combat, even after my surrender they tried to kill that girl. Bad move." Prophecy spoke with venom laced in his words. The priest began to sweat a little more for the tale of Prophecy was still very known almost anywhere.
They continue to converse "Last question priest, do you care about the people of this city?" the priest laughs with evil intent stating " Of course not for I…" after the priest says his answer Prophecy interrupts before he continues, enchanting his hand with all his rage with that black menacing smoke.
Prophecy then directs his hands into a holding ball position then says with meaning "I release this city from your demonic possession you filthy abomination!" Then with great destructive force he shoots a beam of continuous explosions destroying the church except the cross of the lord now slanting in a pile of rubble.
Suddenly the city guards of the city start approaching the church so Prophecy and Raven use the golden light to escape capture however before he leaves he states "Remember the name … Prophecy the one who serves neither God, man or monster. I am simply a wanderer." Leaving many baffled.
Now revealing through the eyes of the citizens they see the head priest's comatose body very much still alive, attached to the cross, fully nude. Although the most mystifying of that sight were three winged individuals staring and laughing at the inside joke that Prophecy was trying to imply, then the most handsome of the lot spoke saying " 'Next time huh' … Prophecy". Reading off the very faint message left behind.
