Part One: Intro
Kion lays down wondering about this whole Lion Guard thing that his dad and Rafiki told him about, "This sounds like a huge job." He thinks to himself, "And I'm just a cub, who am I supposed to protect the Pridelands?" He continues to himself as he stares off over the Pridelands, "And really a Lion Guard? Who am I supposed to put on it? Zuri and Tiifu?! Oh Elders no!"
"Sup Kion?" Asks a voice making Kion jump, "Whoa didn't mean to scare you." It says laughing making Kion blush and turn his head.
"What?! You didn't scare me." He says trying to laugh it off, "I was just to hear your voice Zuri. That's all." He says scratching his head chuckling.
"Ooookay." Says Zuri, "So what are doing up here anyway?" She asks circling Kion; studying him.
"I was just thinking, that's all." He says not laughing anymore.
"What were you thinking about?" She asks sitting down, "Was it about the whole Lion Guard thing?"
"You know about the Lion Guard?!" He asks surprised once again, "I mean.. yeah I was."
"Thought so." She says, "And Kiara told me about the whole thing, and I was wondering if well... you know if I could be in it?" She asks looking down catching Kion once again by surprise, but after a while Kion starts laughing.
"Really? Mrs. Beauty Queen herself wants to join the Lion Guard?!" He asks falling backwards from laughter, he starts rolling around laughing hysterically.
"Hey stop laughing at me!" Zuri yells snapping Kion back into the real world, getting up he wipes away tears, "I'm serious!" She yells making Kion start laughing again.
"Really? You expect me to let you into the Lion Guard Zuri?" He asks before adding, "The most dangerous thing you've done is break nail trying to sharpen them!" He exclaims.
"Kion if I wasn't ready to join the Guard I wouldn't have asked you." She growls stomping her foot into the ground.
"You know what? You're right." He says making Zuri's eyes go wide, "You can join."
"Wait really? You're serious."
"Yeah I don't see why not." He announces before realizing what exactly he said, "I take that back I do. But sense you came up here and asked me personally I might as well let you in. After all you seem serious about your decision."
"Oh... I didn't think you'd say yes." She says eyes wide.
"Neither did I." Responds Kion smiling, "But I mean as long your serious about this, I don't see why not."
"Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!" Exclaims Zuri nuzzling Kion so quickly he doesn't have time to react and she pulls away blushing.
"Well now that you're a part of the Lion Guard, we have to choose three more." Says Kion smiling, "But I don't really know who yet."
"Well I do, but it depends if you'll let him join the Guard, sense you don't have a great relationship with him." She says giving him a little smile.
"Okay and who is it that you have in mind." He says hoping that she doesn't mean Muri.
"Well I was thinking of my brother." She says, making Kion's eyes go wide.
"Your brother?! You mean the one who picks on me everyday, and will have to live the pride soon?" He asks confused.
"Yeah." She confirms giving a little smile, "And don't worry I'll keep him in check, sense he won't listen to you. As you should know."
"Oh I know that too well." Growls Kion, "But as long as you keep him in check he's in."
"Thank you once again." She says still smiling, "I think he'll be eager to join. After all he has always loved fighting."
"Who ever said we'll be fighting?"
"Well let's be honest here, if we're to defend the Pridelands, don't you think that we'll have to fight Janja and his clan a few times?" Asks Zuri eyebrow raised.
"Yeah I guess." Says Kion.
Later...
"So expect me to join this Lion Guard?" Asks Muri glaring back at his sister and Kion, "And that pipsqueak is the 'leader' of this 'Lion Guard'?"
"Yes I am, and I'm not a pipsqueak!" Growls Kion about to lunge at the older, bigger, stronger lion but Zuri holds him back.
"Yes his is the leader, and I do expect you to join us." She says, "After all didn't you say that you'd protect me at any cost?" She asks making Muri quickly turn his head, but he soon smiles at her.
"You know what? You're right I did say that." He says quickly giving Kion a glare, "And I plan to keep that promise."
"Told you I would get him to join us." She says smiling, "Now Muri if you wouldn't mind, can you get some of your friends for us?"
"What for?"
"Well Kion said we need the bravest, the keenest of sight, the fastest, the strongest, and the fiercest."
"Well you already have three of those right here." He says smirking, "The fastest, the strongest, and the fiercest. So all you need is the bravest."
"What do you mean?" Asks Zuri.
"Well you'd be the keenest of sight, sense you have the best eyesight of any lion or lioness in the Pridelands that I know so that leaves the bravest." He says proudly about his sister.
"I pretty sure that's not what my dad and Rafiki meant when they said I have to assemble the Lion Guard." Says Kion making Muri turn his head towards the cub.
"Really? Because I'm pretty sure that is what they meant." He argues back, "And now that you got me and my sister all you have to do is get the last lion for the Lion Guard. The bravest, which actually you're probably the bravest Kion."
"You really think that?" Asks Kion trying not to show how his hopes skyrocketed.
"Yeah I do. I mean after all you did have the guts to ask me to join this stupid cubs camp." He says laughing, "But anyhow, let's get going. We have to protect the Pridelands." He says before running off out of the den. Kion and Zuri just look at each other and shrug.
Yes I am making stuff up as I go, and with that note. That concludes the my first ever chapter, now I am taking a few OCs. Up to 4 max so get yours in before it's too late. Also please describe them and tell me if they are good or evil. Thank you!
