Universe: Alternate Universe Series: The 100; Bachelor Edition

Genre(s): Romance/Drama/Friendship Chapters: 1/20 (Subject to change)

Rated: T (Subject to change to M) Pairings: Multiple different relationships during the story. Final pairing not revealed for obvious reasons.

Summary: Bellamy Blake, an aspiring actor & football fanatic is looking for love on the hit reality TV-series Bachelor's 25th season. Will the easy-going attitude, good looks and undeniable charm that has already gotten him far in his acting career carry him onto the right path for love, or will he leave the show alone and heartbroken. It's time to find out since the first limo is arriving.

Warning: The characters portrayed here are not ALL even close to what their personalities are like on The 100. Some characters stay more true to themselves than others (for example, Clarke and Bellamy both at least somewhat stay true to their personalities.) Another thing to note is that as this is an alternate universe that has nothing to do with the original plot of The 100, it means the origins of each character is hugely different and thus also affect their personality. Just a fair warning to anyone who is super attached to the idea of having 1 to 1 representations of their favorite characters from the show. Disclaimer; I don't own the Bachelor or The 100, I wish I did though.

Chapter I

Bellamy was nervous. He knew what he had signed up for and he knew what he was supposed to do, but even after all of the prepping from Wells, he couldn't stop shifting his weight from one foot to the other in a nervous side to side shuffle. Any minute now, 20 women would be here to meet him. He would have to balance 20 relationships in hopes to find true love, even though previously Bellamy could barely handle the stress of balancing one relationship. This entire situation was quite frankly, terrifying. 6 months ago, when he was approached by the show's host Wells Jaha to be America's next bachelor he had laughed it off as just another stupid reality show. Then his sister, Octavia had gone behind Bellamy's back and signed him up to a binding contract. After a lengthy yelling contest between him and his sister, she had insisted that the show would be a great idea, if not for anything else than for publicity. After all, after his very public breakup from his longtime girlfriend Josie, he really did need some good publicity if he still wanted to continue his acting career.

"It's a chance for America to see the real Bellamy, the brother I know who has a heart full of gold and love to share and not the Hollywood bad boy they make you out to be." Octavia had said. Bellamy wasn't sure he believed in anything that her sister thought of him, but for his sister and the sake of his career, he would play along to almost anything.

He was dressed up in a navy blue tom ford suit and a white dress shirt complete with a black bowtie. His white pocket-handkerchief was neatly folded in his suit pocket, something he had redone multiple times, to make sure he had it folded on perfectly straight. His messy black hair was faded in from the sides and the back, but the natural curliness of his hair was still clearly visible on the top where his hair was left slightly longer. Just enough to give him that freedom of styling it just the way he wanted and today he was definitely feeling a little all over the place, something his hair very much reflected. He had made sure to shave his beard completely as he got ready for the night, so nothing but a small stubble remained. Overall, he looked very smart, elegant even. His choices of clothing and his all in all clean-cut look reflected confidence on the outside, even though on the inside Bellamy was very much, freaking out. His cool calm and collected, easy-going persona had changed to a nervous and insecure mirror image of himself the second the cameras had started rolling, Wells had headed inside the Bachelor mansion and left Bellamy standing alone on the driveway, waiting for the first limo to arrive.

He inhaled - and exhaled. The first limo was just around the corner, Bellamy could hear the sound of the engine. The long black car drove onto the courtyard of the mansion and stopped a few meters from Bellamy. The door opened and outside of the limo stepped the first contestant of Bellamy's season.

A brunette girl with curled long, curled hair stepped out of the limo. She was wearing an elegant black dress that complemented her dark brown eyes. She walked over to Bellamy with a shy smile playing on her lips. "Hi." Bellamy greeted accompanied by a smile of his own. "Hey." The girl replied. "My name is Lexa, I'm from Salt Lake City, Utah, and I'm someone who I think you will come to find can be a bit conservative at times, but I'm still looking forward to this journey with you." She said, looking him dead in the eyes. "Sounds great! I can't wait to get to know you better." Bellamy replied. "I'll see you inside?" He continued, giving Lexa the opportunity to opt-out of the first greeting. She graciously accepted his open invitation to talk more later and took her leave.

She was good looking. Bellamy thought to himself. He didn't have any time to ponder on his initial thought any further since the limo door swung open yet again to reveal the second member of his cast. Another brunette girl stepped out of the car. Her was wavy, shoulder-length or so. She walked over to Bellamy with an excited sparkle in her eyes. "Hi! I'm Raven, I'm 24 and I am a paralegal." She stumbled the words out of her mouth. Bellamy thought she looked cute, although a bit nervous. "You look a bit nervous, I get it though we're both in the same boat. Don't tell Wells I said that ey?" Bellamy blurted in reply. She got a small smile from the girl. "I'm glad to know I'm not the only one who's nervous. Anyway, I'm a southern girl 'n I'm a big hugger so -" She continued, opening her arms and tilting her head slightly to the side. Bellamy accepted the hug and hugged Raven.

It was one of those awkward first-time hugs that you just kinda have to get out of the way. It was an icebreaker, for sure. Bellamy thought as he broke off from the hug.

"Well, it was very nice to meet you, Raven, we'll talk more inside?" He said. "For sure." She replied and walked away.

After the first two girls, Bellamy felt more relaxed. Everything kinda started to fly by.

He met, Kaitlynn a redhead single mom from Alabama, Grace a brunette IT risk consultant from New York, Nicole a Latino stylist from Los Angeles, Victoria a blonde model from Northern California and Nora, a brunette entrepreneur from Texas. Bellamy thought that all of the girls so far had looked super nice and acted very respectfully and thrown themselves out there, with Grace going even as far as pretending to calculate the risk of him leaving with a broken heart at the end of the show being zero. It had been fun and definitely easy-going enough to get Bellamy out of his head. But that was only the first limo and the first 7 women out of the 20 he was about to meet tonight.

The second limo pulled up, the door swung open and the greetings continued. Out from the limo climbed a petite brunette girl with black stripes in her hair. She was wearing a glamorous red dress with stiletto heels. She walked over to Bellamy. "Hey there, stranger." She said with a wide smile. Bellamy couldn't help but smile back. "Hi, there!" He replied, holding her hands. "On the way in the limo here, I literally thought of a thousand things to say when I got out of that limo, but I forgot all of them." She said. "However, I will tell you that my name is Echo, I'm 25 and I work as a dentist." She continued. "Funny, somehow I'm no longer scared of the dentist." Bellamy replied with a smirk. She smiled. "I'll talk to you more inside, yeah?" Echo asked and Bellamy nodded. "Absolutely."

Bellamy watched as Echo walked inside. These girls had completely surprised him, he never thought he'd be actually enjoying his time meeting this many women in one evening. He was actually really looking forward to meeting the rest of the girls now. Bellamy turned back to face the limo and the next girl stepped out of the limo.

She was a blonde, shoulder height compared to Bellamy and she was rocking a white dress that brought out her curves in all the right ways. She was a combination of sexy and cute. Both of which Bellamy had seen already tonight, but not in one person, yet. Her blue eyes sparkled as she walked over to Bellamy with a small box in her hands. "Hey there." She said, coming to a halt before Bellamy. "Hey, you." Bellamy replied with a small smile.

"So, I don't know if this situation is making you nervous or not, but I'm absolutely feeling the butterflies right now and in fact.." she opened the box she was holding. "I have a box full of butterflies." She let out a small nervous giggle accompanied by a hint of a smile as she waited for Bellamy's response. It took him a second, but after a while, he kicked into action. He took the box from the girl's hands and turned it upside down. "There, no more butterflies. Nothing to be nervous about. I'm Bellamy." He replied as the ornate butterflies gently floated to the ground. She looked at him, clearly amused. "I'm Clarke, talk to you more inside?" She asked. Bellamy nodded for an answer and she walked inside. As Clarke disappeared into the doorway, Bellamy quickly leaned down and picked up one of the ornate butterflies and put it inside his suit pocket.

A reminder of the butterflies he felt when this whole thing started, he thought.

Next out of the limo, was another blonde. She was a bit taller than Clarke and was wearing a stunning beige gown. She walked over to Bellamy with confidence. "Hi, Bellamy." She started. "Now, I know that ever since you broke up with Josie, you must have been feeling very lonely, so I just wanted to say that if you ever feel lost in this whole process, I'm here for you." She finished, with a wink and blow a kiss. She didn't even wait for Bellamy to respond before she left. "Oh well, talk to you more inside handsome!"

Bellamy looked at her as she walked inside. It would've been nice to know her name. Even if to only be able to make sure to not say it during the rose ceremony. Bellamy thought. If there was one thing Bellamy couldn't stand it was pretentious people. People who were fake and not true to their feelings. A bit hypocritical considering he had signed up for the show more for the chance to rescue his career than for the chance to find love, but still. He didn't like her vibe at all.

The last 10 girls went by in a breeze. All Bellamy could remember that one of them was Asian, the three of them that were black all wore beautiful dresses and that out of the other 4 one had been a content creator or social media influencer or something. He wasn't really sure. The pretentious girl had really put him off his game and he was feeling a bit nervous as he was getting ready to head in to start the cocktail party. Would it be awkward that he didn't already remember all of the girls' names? What if he couldn't pick who to keep around? Shit. It was all so overwhelming.

Wells walked into the camera shot. "Well, Bellamy, now you've met them. 20 beautiful women from all over America are here to date you. I know we talked about that gut feeling and what it means to you in a relationship, did you have it with any of these women?" Wells inquired. Bellamy thought for a minute before answering. As much as he hadn't expected to get interested in any of the girls who showed up, he found himself pondering a lot of questions regarding a lot of different girls he had met tonight. Echo, Clarke, Lexa, and Raven had all left an amazing impression on him. And there were still girls he knew nothing of, not even their names. Bellamy was pretty sure, he would have an okay time entertaining himself through all of this by getting to know these people. Even if he didn't find love.

"I actually had that gut feeling with multiple girls Wells, and even the ones that I didn't have it with, I'm super excited to get to talk to them and get to know them all a little better before I pick my girls for the season." Bellamy replied, putting on his confident face.

"Well, there's no better moment to get to know them than now." Wells stated as he guided Bellamy into the mansion.

This first day will be split into two parts, this first part is significantly shorter than all upcoming chapters, mainly because I want to kind of feel out and see if there are even . any people who would like this type of story, if you did and want me to make this into an actual story outside of this very small preview, let me know!
