Annabeth opened the door to hers and Percy's penthouse. Yes, they lived in a penthouse. Last night, Percy officially took over as the CEO of Jackson Inc. becoming the youngest ever CEO of one of the world's biggest companies at only 20 yrs. Pretty impressive? Annabeth thought so.

While Percy was doing what he loves, Annabeth does what she loves. Architecture. She is the managing director at Athena Architecture, also one of the biggest companies in the world. She loved her job, of course, who wouldn't if they were doing what they loved. But when she started dating Percy, that's when things started to go downhill. It all started when she first went out with her seaweed brain of a boyfriend.

~FLASHBACK~

Annabeth was at another one of those boring dinners where all successful businessmen and women had to attend with their children to talk about who knows what. But this particular day was a special case.

There was a certain sea-green eyed, messy black-haired boy, about her age, sitting right in front of her across the table. Calling him 'cute' would have been an understatement. He was HOT. Messy black hair that she could run her fingers through, lips she could kiss all d-GET YOURSELF TOGETHER WOMAN YOU JUST SO HIM! I know but he's just so cu-SHUT UP! The voice inside her head screamed. He did catch her staring at him a couple of times but he just raised his eyebrow questionably and then smiled, whereas Annabeth blushed a deep shade of red.

She excused herself right after dinner not even waiting for desert because she just needed to get out of there. That boy was driving her crazy. She bid her mom goodbye and got out of that hall as soon as possible. She ran to her BMW convertible (being rich wasn't all bad you know) when she heard someone speaking.

"Hey! uh blondie", that someone said to Annabeth. She rolled her eyes but felt giddy inside. It was him! "This blondie has a name, Annabeth, Annabeth Chase, and no you cannot call me Annie or Anna or whatever, just Annabeth, okay?", she told him. He smirked. That's it. She melted into a puddle of human goo. "Perseus Jackson, but please call me Percy", He said and held his hand out. She shook it. "Well 'Percy' if you don't mind, I'm about to go home", she said turning to her car, although she didn't want to. "Wait", he said and grabbed he hand. She glared at his hand holding her arm. It was so warm she wanted to cuddle with him right there. "Oh, um sorry. Look I was um *clears throat* wondering if you, want to go um go to the movies this Friday with me, that is if you're free of course", he asked sheepishly, rubbing the back of his neck nervously. Annabeth smiled, although she wanted to jump up and down shouting "YASSS!". "Are you asking me on a date Percy Jackson?" "Well yeah, I thought that was kind of obvious", He stated. She rolled he eyes, then took out her business card, gave it to him and whispered in his ear "Don't be late", then got into her car and drove off. Percy just stood there smiling like an idiot and mentally congratulating himself.

He came to pick her up at exactly 8:05pm on Friday. Annabeth lived in a pretty huge mansion. She opened the door right when he was about to knock on her door and said, "you're late". "Well I didn't exactly tell you a specific time that I was gonna to pick you up so I'd say I'm pretty damn early.", he stated. "Whatever. So, what are we watching?" she asked eagerly. "I don't know you choose", he said while leading her to his car.

~Line Break~

"You wanna ditch? This movie sucks" "I couldn't agree more. Why are my movie choices so bad?" "Well it wasn't that bad" "Really Percy" (note the sarcasm) "Okay yeah it sucked. Hey I know a park nearby, how bout we go there and I'll order pizza?" 'Sounds cool".

When their tummies were filled and a lot of coca cola (I don't own) was drunk, they took a little stroll in the park. "So, tell me a little about yourself", Annabeth asked Percy. "Well let's see. My parents are Poseidon and Sally Jackson owners of Poseidon Inc. My favorite color is blue and I love anything and everything to do with water. Swim Captain in school four times in a row. My favorite food is my mom's blue chocolate chip cookies, I know blue what a weird color but believe they are the best cookies in the world. Ahhh". Annabeth chuckled while Percy was in his dream world of blue cookies. Also, my ex is a bitch and I hate her, name's Rachel and I really don't know why I brought this up.

"Well enough about me tell me about yourself". "Well my parents are Fredrick and Athena Chase although only my mom owns Athena Architecture Inc. My mom left my dad when I was seven so I lived with my mom most of my life but go back and forth. My dad remarried a woman called Susan and together that have twins Bobby and Matthew making them my step brothers. Um I love architecture just like my mom. I used to run in school you in the track team but then quit. I also love reading and is a big Potterhead. I also have an ex sorta just like yours. Name's Luke. I guess that's it"

"I'm sorry for your parents you know separation." "It- its fine really I sorta got over it after all these years" "I see. Good for you. Shit", he said looking at his watch. "It's almost 11pm, I gotta get you home" "Percy its fine, lets go back the parking lot then". They made it to her house at around 11:15pm.

Percy being the gentleman opened the door for her, then said "I had so much fun tonight you know, getting to know you and oooommppp", was what he said before she kissed him. Kissing him was literally the best feeling in the world. It just felt different from all the other people Annabeth had kissed. She was in bliss. Pure heaven. Percy felt the same way and for a moment he stood there not understanding what was happening but snapped back into reality, smiled, and kissed her back eagerly snaking his arms around her waist and pulling her even closer while she ran her fingers through his hair pulling him even closer from his neck.

Only when someone cleared their throat did they break apart, breathing heavily, faces beetroot red. It was Athena Chase. "Mom! Hi uhm sorry we didn't see you there", she said blushing furiously. "Yes, you were quitter occupied to notice", she said emotionless. Percy thought of breaking the awkward silence. "Well I should probably get going Annabeth. I'll call you later. Mrs. Chase." He acknowledged, hugged Annabeth once more and went down the steps to his car. "I do not like him", Athena simply said and walked away.

~End of Flashback~ (Yes that was all flashback. WOW!)

You see that was 2 months ago. She went against her mom and dated Percy because she loved him no matter what. Just last week she moved in with him and honestly, it had been the best two months of her life.

She heard the door open and checked to see who it was. She smiled. Percy was home.
