This is my first story so enjoy or else... um... don't blame me when you find a tarantula in your bed at two a.m in the morning. [Probably not going to happen and only enjoy if it's good]

Lily Evans woke up to a "disturbance" in her dormitory. She opened one of her eyelids slowly revealing her magnificent emerald eyes. There stood her two best friends Marlene McKinnon and Alice Prewett. On the beds beside them were two girls- Dorcas Meadows and Emmeline Bones both looking as if they see this everyday which ,of course, they technically first few weeks they acted as though they had just been proclaimed for a death sentence - little did they know that it was probably worse than that. Lily got up slowly from bed glancing at the two girls which were giving each other menacing glares.

They saw Lily and the looks of annoyance turned into looks of fear. No one except them, Dorcas and Emmeline knew her wrath when she was awoken before 7:00. "Marlene BLOODY McKinnon and Alice BLOODY Prewett do you have any BLOODY reason that you BLOODY woke me up at BLOODY 5:30",Lily practically yelled not caring about the fact that she used the word bloody 5 times in one sentence.

The two Gryffindor girls were cowering in fear in front of the sleep deprived redhead. Lily growled a low growl that could only form in her throat. They were shaking. Then seeing the despair and desperate looks on the faces of the two Gryffindor girls she just sighed, glared and collapsed on her bed, falling asleep in an instant, and she was sure that she never heard a floorboard creak 'till well over 7:30.

Lily made her way down to the great hall in irritation as she thought about the extra glorious minutes of sleep she could have gotten if stupid Marlene and stupid Alice had cared an ounce about her welfare (and wondered where the form of measurement came from) and that they would have put aside their differences and she could have had at least 5 minutes of more sleep. She arrived in the Great hall she took her seat next to Marlene and Alice.

"Hello", said Alice in her usual cheery voice disregarding the events of the morning.

"Hey", Lily responded with a little bit less of enthusiasm.

"Mph", grumbled Marlene, like Lily, she was not a morning person, yet she was up at 5:30 screaming her voice hoarse at poor Alice - for what? Probably a stupid blouse.

"Nice to see you to", smiled Lily while rolling her eyes, "Why were you fighting anyways?"

Alice smiled,"I wore Marlene's blouse to a date with Frank".

Lily resisted the urge to roll her eyes again and throw her head back and laugh at the irrelevance of the problem and the unnecessary yelling, instead, she stacked her usual breakfast (bacon and eggs) onto her plate.

The rest of breakfast went past quickly for no one was talking except Alice who was going on about how her date went with the poor guy, geez did this girl have an obsession with him or what.

The day went slowly and painfully. After breakfast the three girls made there way to D.A.D.A (Defence against the Dark Arts). That was one of Lily's least favorite subject, you are probably asking why Lily Evans the topper of almost every class was complaining about one of the main classes, well first of all, she was not the topper of two classes, Transfiguration and D.A.D.A. Now you are like why does Lily, care about two classes. She doesn't 'like' this class because she was paired with the one and only, drum roll, James Potter, who by the way was the topper of those two wretched classes. Oh, why stop there, she is Head girl, but she should be happy shouldn't she, wrong, guess who is the Head boy, yup you got it, James Potter.

After that she went to potions,but guess who is her classmate, James Potter, guess who kept looking at her, James Potter, guess who blew up his cauldron because he was to busy looking at her, James Potter.

Next she went to Charms, (you get the pattern).

Then Head meeting (oh the horror).

Lunch (not bad except for the fact that he is in her house)

Rounds (she had already given up on life by then).

Potter is in Gryffindor. Potter is Marlene's cousin. Potter is very obsessed with her. Potter happened to befriend her two best friends. Potter is the most popular bloke in Hogwarts. Yup, Lily leads a very sad, sad life.

The next day was Saturday., and that meant that no annoying Potter for a whole day, A WHOLE DAY. She thanked God before she ate her food, of course she saw him in the common room but she didn't have to talk with him, which was why she was eternally grateful. She had already done her homework so she had a whole weekend free.

Then at lunch she had a jolt of realization, she had rounds with Potter, 2 hours late at night with the boy that was madly in love with her since first year. She was just about to empty her lunch and she was stopped by Marlene.

"First of all don't ruin my blouse I just got it back from Alice and second of all you are overreacting",said Marlene after Lily had ranted to her about her Saturday being ruined by the stupid wanker. She had to spend a perfect Saturday evening with James Potter. Oh boy. This bites. She also realized that she mostly overreacted about everything and when she confronted Marlene about that she just shook her head in disappointment.

"You figured that out right now?"

Lily ended rounds 10 minutes early, telling Potter that she had to do Charms homework and it was mostly true, she didn't have Charms homework but she um.. she did not want to hangout with him and he is good at Transfiguration and Transfiguration is a subject and so is Charms?

She is absolutely hopeless. Oh, she better do her Charms homework that she doesn't have.

Sorry this one is going to be short just because it is just a very short introduction [like it said in the title] but I promise that I will make my chapters longer in the future.
