It was a clear day in the grand line. The straw hat pirates were relaxing on the sunny go headed to the next destination.
Usopp was tinkering, robin was reading, nami was navigating, franky was drinking a cola, brook was playing music, sanji was making some lunch, zoro was dozing, chopper was working on medical stuff and their captain named luffy was sitting where he always was, on top of the Sunny Go's bow.
Zoro stretched and got up to get some more booze when he saw something in the distance, it seemed like a piece of wreckage. When it came close he saw it was a creature laying on a piece of wood, most likely from a ship.
"Hey there is a creature passed out on a wreckage." He told the others.
"Is it meat?" Luffy asked
"Not sure." Sanji said
Zoro watched as it came closer and saw what it was. It was a white wolf with several scars on it, it was knocked out. Zoro had a sense he had seen the wolf somewhere but couldn't put a finger on it.
"Looks like its hurt." Chopper said. "We need to get it out of the water!"
Robin seemed to already know what to do and used her devil fruit powers, where she can make multiple arms appear that she controls. She used them to pull the wolf out of the water and placed it onto the deck.
Chopper went immediately to the wolf's side, but when he touched the wolf the wolf's eyes sprung open. The eyes were white, meaning the wolf was blind. The wolf snarled and its body was consumed with electricity and an electrical sword.
Zoro took out his swords and blocked the wolf, he knew who it was now and he had to calm her down fast. The wolf snarled and words came out surprising the crew.
"Get away from me! I will kill you! You bastard!" She snarled, but she wasnt talking to them. She seemed to be talking to someone else.
Zoro and the wolf sparred, him blocking her every move. He had to either knock her out or find a way to get to her.
"Seera calm down!" Zoro yelled
But her expression didnt change. He realised she was too out of it and with a quick move he used the butt of the sword and knocked her out.
"Take her to the infirmary." Chopper said. "I need to treat the wounds before she wakes"
Zoro picked her up and took her to the bed in the infirmary. He saw strange looks from the others and knew he would have to explain once he came back out.
He placed her on the bed and looked at her in disbelief. Chopper looked at him.
"So you know her? " he asked
"An old friend I met during the two years we were apart" zoro said curtly. "She wasnt blind then though."
"Well she went blind from an attack as the scars go across her eyes as well." Chopper said, continuing to check her over. "Now leave I have to concentrate"
Zoro walked out and went to get some booze. Sanji came up to him.
"Who is that? How do you know the wolf?"
"Shes not a wolf" he said loud enough for everyone to hear. "Shes a person that can shift into a wolf and has a unique devil fruit that gives her the power of the elements. She is also the adopted daughter of Hawkeye."
"Whaaaat?" Everyone gasped.
"That's cool!" Luffy cried. "Cant wait till she wakes!"
"Shes not one to be bombarded." Zoro warned. "She doesn't do well with that."
"Awww." Luffy whined.
"And no asking to see panties, or flirting. She will pummel you."
They made a sulking look and sauntered off. Nami and robin came up to him.
"So shes the adopted daughter of Hawkeye? Never thought he was the father type." Nami huffed.
"Shes a special case. But I will let her tell you that." He said gruffly. "Now I'm going to find some more booze."
Zoro found some. Booze while sanji set the table. As usual the women got better treatment then the guys and they fought for the food before Luffy could eat it all.
Chapter 2
Seera woke slowly, still sore and groggy from her ordeal. She knew she couldnt see where she was but she knew she was on a ship. She could hear a bunch of laughing and yelling noises and smell delicious food.
Staying in her wolf form, She sat up slowly, grunting in pain from a wound on her side. She groaned as she stood up, but once she started walking it slowly got easier.
She opened the door slightly and peeked out hearing several people at the table, one scent seemed familiar but she just shook her head.
"You're awake." Said a voice just out the door.
She jumped, she kicked herself mentally for not noticing him right away.
She just grunted and went back inside and laid back in the bed, this time she curled up, tail over her face and back facing the door.
She heard the man come into the room, a smell of food filled the room as he placed a plate on the bedside table and left.
"Suit yourself. Just dont waste the food." He said gently.
She made sure that no one was in the room and shifted. She took the plate and ate slowly, enjoying the best food shes had in months. Once she was finished she realised that it was getting dark and decided to rest again for a few hours.
When she was just about to fall asleep she heard a small knock on the door. The door opened slightly and she heard hooves on the floor, almost reindeer like.
"Why is there a reindeer in here bothering me?" She said curtly.
She heard a squeak in fear and the creature spoke softly.
"I came to check on your wounds." He said.
"You can check tomorrow. I want to be alone." She hissed.
The creature flinched and was gonna speak again and Seera snarled shifting into her wolf form laying there. The creature slammed the door and ran off.
Seera sighed and laid there awake. She was trying to figure out what pirate ship it was as she had been on many in her life.
After laying there for an hour she gave up sleep and still in wolf form left the room making sure not a soul was awake.
She found her way the the back of the ship and sat there looking at the sky. How she missed looking at the stars, but after the last encounter with her greatest enemy several yrs ago and getting slashed in the face, leaving her blind.
She heard clanking of swords behind her and she turned around with a low growl, making a water sword in her mouth.
"Dont you recognize my voice, Seera?" Said a highly familiar voice.
She made the water sword disappear and sat down.
"Zoro?" She asked tilting her head.
"Yup." He chuckled.
"So that means I'm on your crew ship. The Straw Hat Pirates?" She asked shifting into human.
"Right again." He said.
Seera relaxed a little. Zoro cleared his throat.
"What happened to you?" He asked.
She turned around and leaned against the side of the boat while zoro sat down leaning against it.
"You remember me telling you about my evil pirate biological father taking over my home village?"
He grunted, acknowledging her.
"Well about a year after you left I went again to try and defeat him to free my village. The battle was long and hard but he got the upper hand when he was able to distract me by saying my mother was dead and slashed me in the eyes, making me blind." She explained. "Well not completely blind I can see blurs and shadows but at night I might as well be blind. So it was back to father Hawkeye to do new training."
She sighed sadly "another five years go by and he says I'm good enough to go on my own again if I wish. Just to be careful. And past few yrs I have just been traveling, hearing about you guys and your adventures. But what caused me to end up here was I was sailing and a huge sea monster attacked. Stupid I know but luckily I landed on a piece of wreckage so I wouldn't sink into the water."
"Well shit." Zoro said, then chuckled. "Then I guess you are stuck here with us for a while."
Seera smiled. "Thank you. Are you sure Luffy wouldn't mind?"
"He may be an idiot at times but he doesnt turn anyone who is strong down" Zoro said gruffly. "Want some booze?"
"Hell ya, havent had any in months." She laughed taking one from Zoro.
She chugged it down and sighed.
"I'm surprised no one really bugged me, even luffy."
"I told them that you would kick their ass and Sanji knows his limits course he hasn't seen you in your human form so we will see." He chuckled taking a swig of his booze.
"Well I'm going to hit the deck." Seera smiled. " my side is starting to hurt again and as I'm not going anywhere currently sleep sounds nice."
"Night." Zoro said with a huff.
Seera didn't want to leave but she needed sleep and she new it. Shifting into a wolf she went back to the infirmary and curled up on the bed. She heard zoro walk to her door and pause. He did a low sigh and went on walking.
If she didnt know better, the sigh was slightly sad as if he felt sorry for her. She shrugged it off and fell asleep.
She woke up to Zoro arguing with sanji then pretty much all the guys ended up wrestling. She got up, still a wolf, and went out the door. She heard nami yelling for them to knock it off and weirdly she heard noises coming from the deck and the fighting instantly stopped.
"Thanks robin." Nami sighed. "Now you idiots knock it off so sanji can make breakfast."
"Yes nami love!" Sanji exclaimed
Nami sighed and walked off seeing Seera
"Good morning. Did they wake you?"
Seera shrugged.
"I was already waking up and figured it was time to walk around and find the reindeer that somehow fixed my wounds" Seera replied.
"Oh! That's chopper. He was a reindeer that ate the human-human fruit." Nami smiled. "Hes our doctor. Chopper come over here. Shes awake."
She heard chopper come over hesitantly and sat down calmly.
"As promised you can check my wounds today." She said calmly.
Chopper nodded and check the wound, placed more ointment on it and covered it back up again.
"You can take it off tonight. It should be good by then" chopper said seriously "but you must rest."
"I'll rest by hanging up here on deck." Seera huffed.
She bid them ado and went back to the spot she was last night. Away from some of the chaos so she wouldn't be tempted.
She smelled the food that was almost done and the sound of argueing about food condensed again as the men went to devour it.
Several minutes later after everything calmed down she heard someone come up behind her.
"You should eat." Said luffy's voice.
"I'm not currently hungry, but thank you captain." She said still looking at the sky.
"You need to eat to stay strong if you are in my crew."
"I am not part of your crew yet!" She fumed sudden anger flaring. "My goal is to kill my damn father so I can get my village back."
"Hawkeye?" He asked humbly
"No you idiot, my real father. Now leave me alone." She snarled and used her front legs to shove him hard enough to have him fall in the middle if the boat, the food spilling on him.
Realizing her temper got the best of her she panicked and went to the infirmary and slammed the door, placing herself into the dark as she curled up Into a corner.
Seera heard some arguments about if she could be trusted and others saying luffy was stupid as always trying to get people to join right away.
She didnt care, she attacked the captain in anger and she knew when that happened she would pay for it dearly.
After several hours Brook was playing music as it became dinner time.
There was a knock on the door and she stiffened.
"Go away." She snapped
The door opened and shut again as she heard zoro come and sit down next to her.
"No one is mad at you, luffy needed it anyway and usopp was being a coward as always." He explained. "Remember we can be a bunch of idiots but we can be serious at the same time."
Seera didnt reply. Zoro sighed.
"What happened to the Seera I knew back then?" He asked
"She died when she got beat four times trying to get her village back." She mumbled then turned around and snarled.
"In all my 30 years of life and 20 years of training I still cant beat my biological father! Have you ever felt so defeated you want to die!"
"I have actually." Zoro replied calmly.
"It was when I first challenged Hawkeye. He defeated me in mer seconds. Leaving the scar across my front. At that time I wanted to die because I failed my dream and luffy. So I swore to get stronger to get to my dream and become stronger for luffy."
Seera looked at zoro in surprise then relaxed.
"Thank you." She said softly. "I'm going to rest now and I'll be better tomorrow, maybe even train a little. I'm not sure."
Zoro stood up and stretched. "See ya tomorrow then."
As he walked passed he playfully shoved her to where she landed on the floor on her back.
"Jerk!" She laughed.
He smirked and closed the door.
Chapter 3
It took Seera a bout two days before she could move around longer and train. She felt comfortable enough to be in her human form around the crew, which surprised everyone. Sanji went into flirt mode, brook and franky both asked the pany questions and got kicked in the face by her. Nami was surprised a woman could have such stunning long white hair along her golden skin.
Zoro of course trained with her and the crew got to see the extent of her powers which of course made Luffy excited and joined into the brawl.
One day everyone was relaxing, Seera grabbed a booze for her and Zoro before sitting down next to him. They drank their booze in silence but it satisfied the friends enough.
Seera was about to doze off but a sound in the wind made her blood run cold.
"They are coming." She whispered.
"What do you mean?" Zoro asked opening one eye.
"The navy ship that has been basically working for my biological father to kill me." She growled before standing up and yelled. "I hear a navy ship coming from ahead of us. A fleet of them, maybe 50?"
"How do you know?" Robin asked.
"Remember I have the power of the elements and have learned quite a bit." She explained. "If you dont believe take a look."
Usopp took out a looking glass and looked in that direction. He jumped and made a noise.
"Shes telling the truth alright." Usopp called out.
"Well shit." Seera sighed. "Guess I gotta destroy this set of ships as well."
Everyone looked at her in shock. She sgrugged.
"What? They kept following me so I destroyed the ships."
The navy ships came quickly. And the battle ended quickly. With a few kicks, slashes and a little gum gum power the wreckage floated in the ocean as the people struggled to float.
