Authors note:

Thank you for taking interest in my story! This is my first writing on the website as of yet, and while I may be inexperience, I can assure you that this head is bustling with ideas! Note that there may be some contradictions from the Pokédex that are found in this story, but what's the fun in fan fictions if you can't play around with the world a little bit? Anyways, please try and drop some constructive criticism in the review, this is my first rodeo after all. There might be things that don't entirely make sense, and I want to keep those addressed so that both you, the reader, and me, the writer, can both get the best experience that we can out of this story. I figure it necessary to address that I do not own the rights to Pokémon or any of its characters, and that all work here is not in partnership with TPC. Well, without further ado, I present to you the theology of Pokémon, enjoy!

An abstract, endless sea of nothingness was the existence of the egg. Time was irrelevant, matter was irrelevant, and even the vast expansion of dark itself served no purpose rather than to stay in its stymie. It was almost a swirling storm of chaos, for there wasn't an end or beginning, but only a constant. This inhumane idea of constant normalcy was indeed something that any healthy person could only assess as chaos. It contradicted every single staple of what the universe should be, and the egg found itself in the middle of that.

Of course, that idea wasn't what the egg wanted. The foul torment of being surrounded by this confusing plane contradicted its very existence, and to that, the egg grew independent. Relishing in its newfound being, the egg burst into a shining beast, and brought light to the pitch black of the universe, finally putting an end to the meaninglessness of the void.

A thought? No, not a thought, but a feeling emerged from this beast. What was this feeling? The beast looked around at the light it cast upon the still, endless nothingness. This feeling realized itself, and almost like a glimmer of light, the beast used it. The beast used judgement! Millions of hands sprung from its back and pooled into two different beings. This judgement manifested into what existence is now familiar with. The being of time appeared to finally put time into the endless, and the being of space appeared to put matter into the nothingness.

The two beings immediately set themselves to work. Matter swirled into the void, filling space with the wonders of planets and stars and solar systems and galaxies. Through the newfound passage of time, these things aged, grew dynamically, and deformed, then transformed once again into brand new things. It was a beautiful cycle given purpose through their existence between this dyad of time and space.

The beast would have been satisfied had it not been for the lingering idea of the past. Even suppressed, this idea of abstract nonexistence would forever be a thought to cloud his judgement, and it manifested itself into a being independent from the other 3.

This frustrated the beast. What it had made was something truly incredible. Its work would not be stifled by the memories of long forgotten. The beast used judgement! The being of void grimaced and rived with pain. It's worm-like form shriveled and soon locked itself down, growing appendages that shackled its very being. Outraged, this renegade of a creature found the remaining darkness in the universe to sneak upon its Alpha and strike. The renegade creature used Shadow Force! Immediately, a gargantuan shock wave flew into space, and bits and pieces of the Alpha splintered off in every direction. It shot a look at the renegade creature, who had a gleeful expression on it's face. The beast used judgement! But to no avail. Its judgement swept through the renegade creature without so much as a scratch.

The beings of time and space were immediately upon it. Their power, unlike the Alpha's, was still fully functioning. The being of time used Roar of Time and let out a piercing screech, slowing time down for the renegade creature and lulling it into a tired stupor. The being of space used Spacial Rend, ripped its claws across the creature and opened a hole into something truly interesting. With the renegade creature subdued, the Alpha peered in and saw the space of the same wretched nothingness. With a slight huff, it used its many hands to collapse the creature into its own dimension and banish it. In an attempt to fight back one more time, the Renegade Creature tried releasing its true form back onto the world, and in doing so it released an orb. The Alpha struggled to put the creature back into its own realm, and in its own ignorance, was knocked down by the released orb. As the Renegade creature saw its final glimpse of the universe, it reveled in the sight of the Alpha being knocked down, and with him, his many arms burst in all direction.

There it lingered. Surrounded by its grand creation, this creature that once had all was now a husk of its previous self. This arch angel, this deus-like creature, this… Arceus… now stuck in a simple bestial form. While in despair, Arceus neglected to look at the directions in which his severed arms traveled. Swerving through the cosmos, arms struck planet after planet. Running down into the crust of each, his arms brought about a new source of light for the planet, something truly unique. The seeds of light buried into the ground. At first, it started with a sprout, and with each passing second, this sprout grew larger and larger, eventually germinating into a blade of grass. These grandiose planets soon had a surface teaming with green grass, and with that, life began. Arceus recoiled. Perhaps more could be made of this?

"Yes… this will bring something new." Words uttered from its mouth, and with that, life quickly became the new goal of this creature of forgotten power. Surely, a true beauty could be found from this.

First chapter done! Writing deliberately and making it seem exciting is certainly an obstacle that I underestimated. I'll gauge interest in this after I come out with the next couple of chapters. Of course, I want to be able to see how this grows, but I'd like to see reception first. Take care everyone!
