The Total Drama writers sit across from the infamous Heather in a cramp office. They are discussing to each character what role they will play in the upcoming TD special and the next season: Total Drama Action.
"We are slowly going to give you well-written positive development," the first writer exclaims.
Heather is not moved in the slightest.
"Wow thanks, I already hate it," she exclaims with an eyeroll.
The second writer was quick to reassure her. "Trust us, this will be a great advancement for you."
Suddenly, the third writer jumps in to back up his subordinates.
"Agreed it will be one of the best character developments ever!"
Heather gives in immediately.
"Sure, whatever."
She rolls eyes again and attempts to flip her hair but remembers that she is bald and proceeds to leave the office.
"Thank you, Heather," the first writer shouts.
The third writer pulls out clipboard and reads that Courtney is next on the list.
"Next!"
Courtney walks in.
"Ah yes, Courtney. It's lovely to have you. Please sit."
Courtney sits down and begins to speak.
"I couldn't help but hear about the offer that you were going to give Heather and I would like that too please."
"Well, the thing is we need a new villain and using Heather is out of the question seeing as how it will be unimaginative. We are sorry to say that we cannot grant that wish."
Courtney is taken back from the idea.
"I'm sorry, but I cannot wrap my head around that idea. I'm an anti-hero. I may have had my selfish moments and did not always step up to the plate, I'll grant you, but I still have a conscience and possess skills to demonstrate in the show without any serious maliciousness. I don't condone Heather reading Gwen's diary. Furthermore, I empathize for the well-being of my teammates from time to time. Not to mention that I also cared about the safety of Gwen and Owen in the final challenge despite the fact that they had a fair chance in the game whereas I did not, seeing as how I was unfairly kicked off. I am capable of staying a "black and white" character. What would be truly unimaginative would be turning me into a villain that fast. Can't someone else from the cast, that is more qualified, take that role? Or possibly someone entirely new?"
"That is simply unattainable," The third writer retorts dismissively.
Courtney is taken back once again.
"Is it really?!"
The third writer responds, "Well, we could b-but..."
The writer stammered. As he could not come up with a pressing reason.
Courtney sighs exasperatedly and begins again.
"I'll level with you. How about I do take the villain role and go with it for a handful of episodes. Then under certain circumstances, I form a bond with Lindsay or Beth. And finally, I revert back to my old yet improved self near the end of the season. "
"Look Courtney, I understand where you are coming from, but the guys upstairs, AKA CN and Teletoon, said that they want to make some serious changes despite them being hasty and undetailed. It is what is. We can't refuse their wishes," the second writer explains.
Courtney scoffs loudly at that.
"This is simply absurd!"
The first writer visually showed empathy towards her flabbergasted response.
"Indeed. It is."
Courtney leaves abruptly
"Ooo, we left out the extra detail that we are going to do everything in our power to make her undesirable in Duncan's eyes so that we can write a breakup and love triangle," the third writer utters in a timid voice.
The first writer replies, "She'll find out soon enough."
