"Addie your up in 30 min. Hey have you seen Rayven. She's up on stage three about the same time." Rocco asked

"No, I'll go see if I can find her." I said grabbing my robe.

Walking thru the Filthy Bunny to look for Rayven I see her by the table that's occupied the Samtac members. They always come to the strip club on Friday nights. It's kind of funny. If any other charter is in town they stay away. Lee the president of Samtac is our cousin. His and Rayven's dad was my mom's older brother and Rayven's moms' little brother.

"Hey guys." I said walking up to the guys.

"Hey Addie." The all called.

"Rayven were up in a soon. Where's Kozik?"

"Kozik and Happy were needed at another charter." Lee said emphasizing Happy. "Hey Addie, we need to talk when you get off."

"What did you guys do now?" I asked

"Don't worry about it just come see me at the clubhouse when you guys get off. " Lee demanded

"Alright. Hey, we got to go. Why don't you go out and smoke for a few were up?" I said walking away

By the time the night was over I was exhausted. Lillian got off an hour ago and took my cage I was now waiting on a ride from one of the guys. I decided to sit on the curb with my headphones in and listen to my favorite band Halestorm while I waited.

Well I assume your Adaline. " the man said taping me

"Who the hell are you?" I asked.

"I'm CJ the prospect. Lee sent me to come get you." He replied shyly.

Alright let's go. I need to kick your president's ass." I said getting on his bike.

When we got to the clubhouse the party was in full swing. The place was full of crow eaters. As I made my way thru the crowd, I found was in the corner with his wife Natalie. Natalie was one of my best friends growing up. They got married right after she turned 18. They've been married six years now. I walked up to Lee and Natalie giving them each a hug. After I sat down, I was handed a beer by the prospect. We drank our beers and talked for a little bit. When the party started getting more r rated, I shoved Lee.

"Hey Lee, what did we need to talk about."

"Your mom gave this to my dad, and he told me to give it to you when you turn 25. Since your birthday is tomorrow, I figured I'd give it to you now. Go ahead tell the prospect to talk you home or you have a dorm here. Me and Nat are going to bed."

They hugged me than headed off to their dorm. I got another bear and went outside to read the letter. It more of a private thing. My mom passed away shortly before I turned 21. I've been on my own since then. Well besides Lee and Rayven. I never knew who my father was. Only that he was a very confused man at the time. I got on my bike that I kept their and went home. I don't know if I want to read this. I miss her so much. Riding thru the streets I made it home fifteen minutes I walked up to the house my door was open. I called Rayven to see if she was here. She didn't answer her phone. I called Lee to let him know I was going in. I had my BERETTA 92 FS 9MM SEMI-AUTO. I learned how to shoot when I was 12. I learned with Lee. Just because I was a girl, I wasn't going to be treated any differently on the lot.

"What's up Addie?" he asked

"Someone broke into my house my door is wide open, and Rayven isn't answering her phone. I'm just calling you, so you know what's going on I have my Beretta I'm going in."

"No! Don't do anything till I get there. The mother tried has been having trouble. They didn't know if it would fall back on us or our families."

" Well hurry the fuck up because I just seen movement. I'm not waiting Rayven could be in there hurry up." I said hanging up the phone.

When I got inside my place was trashed. I see Rayven tied to a chair in the kitchen. she had blood running down her face. what did these fuckers want? I heard a noise coming from down the hall. I followed the noise to my bedroom. what could I have if these guys want?

"Look who finally decided to come home." A guy said coming up behind me.

"What do you guys want?" I said aiming my gun at the guy.

"We're here for you." the other guy said.

I pulled the trigger of my Beretta hitting the guy in front of me in the shoulder. I ran to the kitchen to untie Rayven when I heard the sound of motorcycles approaching. I got Rayven's legs and one hand untied when I was hitting the back of the head and passed out.

when I woke up, I was in a hospital room. Natalie was sitting in the chair by my bed.

"Nat what's going on? Where's Rayven? I need to talk to Lee."

"Calm down Addie. Rayven is at the clubhouse she was discharged 2 days ago. Lee said to call him when you woke up. as for what's going on you've been unconscious for 3 days." Nat said picking up her phone.

The doctor came in and checked me over. about five minutes later Lee came in with Happy and Kozik behind him. if looks could kill the look I was getting some happy right now would have put me in this hospital bed way longer. Lee didn't look very happy either.

"Nat, we need to talk to Addie alone. Why don't you go back to the clubhouse and check on Rayven?" Lee gave her a kiss and turn back to me give me a dirty look.

"What the hell were you thinking? you could have been killed." Happy said with his hands shaking.

"I was thinking that Rayven was in the house and I was going to let her die." I said with venom in my voice.

"You still should have waited Addie. But what did they want? How many were there? Can you give us a description of what they look like?" Kozik asked.

"The one guy said they were after me. There were two of them about average height both Mexican. One guy was bald she had a tattoo of a snake on his neck and a teardrop under his right eye and a scar on his cheek. He will also have a fresh gunshot wound and his left shoulder. The other guy had a bandana and longer hair it was braided and black I didn't see any tattoos. they were wearing black hoodies. They never used any names. My question is why the fuck were they after me?

"That's what we're trying to figure out. Did they say they wanted both of you or just you?" Kozik asked.

" I asked them what they wanted, and they answered back that they were here for me. I literally go to work, the clubhouse, and home. I don't go out and do anything unless I'm with one of you guys."

"I don't know Addie, but a Son will be posted at your door until you're released, and you guys will be staying at the clubhouse. You're not going to fight me on this. Do I make myself clear?" Lee said standing up to leave.

"Crystal clear. Cuz. The doctor said I'd be getting discharged today. If the test come back good."

Lee nodded and the guys walked toward the door.

"Yo Lee I'll catch up to you in a second." Happy said walking back towards me.

After Lee and Kozik left she looked at me and shook his head.

"Do you even care about your own safety. I understand that Rayven was in there, but you put both of you at risk going in there. You were told to wait, and you didn't listen. Do you know how pissed off I am. I get a call on the way back from Charming saying that you and Rayven are in the hospital, and you're still unconscious." Happy said with anger.

"Yes, I care about my own safety I didn't see it that way. I saw it as me saving Rayven. I don't understand why your so pissed off. Yeah, we've fucked a couple times. I'm not your old lady and you're not my old man. You didn't claim me. So, you have no right to be mad. I'm so done with you wanting it both ways, either we're together or not.

"We'll talk about this later. I have club stuff to do. your clothes are in the bag on the chair. CJ will bring you back to the clubhouse when you get released." Happy said answering his phone walking out the door

After he left, I went through my bag for my phone and found my mom's letter. well now is as good as time as any to read the letter. I sat on the bed and opened it.
