Act 1 the meeting/A sudden arrival

Let me guess you decided to open this fanfiction for your 'Entertainment' viewer well let's be honest you know how well this story would go correct these students get tricked into coming to a death signing their fates and only six of the students live on to see hope and joy. But what if we added a small twist into this little story brace yourself as we unveil a new twist on Danganronpa this story is called Mystic Red Danganronpa.

Hope's peak academy
What a screwed up day it had been for Makoto Nagei. Why? Because he was invited to come to a school called Hope's peak academy but what he didn't know was that the school was a trap! Yeah real cliche I tell ya! Now he has teamed up with the other students in school who each had their own abilities also their principal was a robotic bear called Monokuma
As they were discussing at a school table on how they can find a way out of this place without having to kill each other yeah that's right to graduate you have to kill someone! Horrible right?
Suddenly a strange sound was heard that sounded suspiciously like electricity or whatever was used for those lightning sound effects.
From the ceiling appeared a giant portal opened, it looked like a giant ring!
Before they could even make a move three teenagers came flying down. Everyone got out of the way as the three teens made a rough landing this surprised everyone in complete shock then the portal vanished a few seconds later leaving only the three teeangers who had fallen onto the table where some of them were sitting.
Nagei and the others looked at them in confusion.
The first one to speak was the only normal looking boy as they got up with a groan.

"Ah! Geez I feel like we've been falling for almost 30 minutes!" Then the tiger girl then hit the teenager on the back of the head. "Not now Riley." The tiger girl says as her tail flicks slightly as an obvious show of it being real. "Uhh… Riley… Aura…?" The other girl that looked like a badger with brown instead of black and had hot pink clothes said as she glanced to the group looking at them. "What is it Mira?" "We… Are not alone.." "O-Oh."

Yasuhiro, the ultimate fortune teller said with complete shock. "W-whoa! Are those animals talking!? And is that a teenager with them?"
Celestia the Ultimate gambler then said quite calmly "How curious that we now have three new guests."

"Apologies for dropping in on you all like this but any idea where we are?" The Tiger girl 'Aura' Naegi's mind supplied as he looked at the Tiger-like creature, asked looking at the group.
Then the teenager then took out a map out of nowhere and said "You know I wish we took that left turn at Albuquerque instead of the right."
Then Aura hits her friend 'Riley' again and says "This isn't the phoney toons Riley!" With that the one who had spoken the least. This 'Mira' took a deep breath as she then spoke up.
"Anyways, I guess we should introduce ourselves. I'm Miracle the Badger but please call me Mira. This is Aurora the Tiger but like me she prefers the nickname Aura and this is Riley Mason, our friend and third member of our team. All three of us make Team Mystic." The badger introduced herself and her friends

Everyone shakes either silently blinks or they shake their heads they sure were not dreaming otherwise they would all be in their beds at home. Naegi started to break the silence as he said "Well.. my name is Makoto Naegi."

Leon Kuwata, the Ultimate baseball player then goes over and shakes Riley's hand. Leon then said to him- "I'm Leon and that was a surprise landing you did there."

Riley sheepishly smiled at Leon while shrugging and said "Eh I give that landing a four out of twenty not my best landing."

Aoi Ashinda and Sayaka went over to Aura and Mira and introduced themselves to them. "I'm Aoi Asahina!" "And I'm Sayaka Maizono."

Chihiro the Ultimate programmer was a bit shy at first until she decided to introduce herself to Riley "N-nice to meet you mister Riley, miss Aura and Mira. I'm Chihiro Fujisaki." Riley smiles at the kid kindly and says "Heh nice to meet you as well as well kid."

Bakuya just simply scoffed as he looked at the boy as he said "Hmph don't let the fame and fortune get to your head boy otherwise you'll be a mere court jester to me."

Riley was confused on what he meant by that as he said in a confused voice "Ah thanks I guess?"

Then Kyoko Kirigiri whose title remained still unknown said to Byakuya in a calm yet annoyed tone.

"I would suggest you don't jump to conclusions Byakuya Togami. For all we know they would be a good asset to help us."

Aura then spoke up as she looked around to everyone. "Alright, who else hasn't said their names to us? Since Makoto, Leon, Hina, Chihiro and Sayaka introduced themselves. Excluding mister Togami here whom was introduced to us."

One by one everyone introduced each other to Riley, Mira and Aura. Kioytaka Ishimaru and greatly apologised for not having done so earlier while he was in shock went first followed by Toko (Byakuya said for her to), Mondo, Hifumi, Celestia, Kirgiri, Yashuhiro and finally Junko
Riley then asked Naegi and the others a simple question. "So do you mind telling where my friends and I landed because this place isn't like any place where we're from." unknown to anyone a security camera zoomed in on Team Mystic as Naegi told them

"Well Riley this place is called Hope's peak academy we thought this was just a regular school but it's not."

Mira then asked, sounding clouded on why he and the others were trapped here,"Wait what do you mean?" Bakuya then said to Mira "For your information we awoke in different classrooms then assembled in the main hall this place is blocked off, so no can get in or out of here."

Riley then said with a confident tone "Hah! I laugh at this silly plan on whoever trapped you here," Riley then continued as he searched his pockets for something with a smirk. "Not to worry I have a special way of getting us all out of here in one piece!"

Then Maizono said "Wait, you mean that giant ring shaped portal?" Riley then said"I sure do! All I gotta do is use my rings in order to...Get..Us...Out of...Here.." Riley then started to get nervous as he noticed his pockets were empty

Aura said in a deadpan expression to Riley.

"You lost the rings on our way here didn't you Riley?" Riley then chuckled nervously and said "W-what!? No way I would do something that crazy, I think the rings are in my bag."
Riley then started to search his bag while throwing out items like a power charger, spare clothes, an Ipad, an Nintendo Switch and a picture of him with Aura and Mira until finally giving up he had anime tears as he said to Aura and Mira "Yes I lost the rings on our way here!"

Aura had an angry vein on her forehead and yelled at "Well maybe next time! Don't throw the rings underneath our feet!" "I AM SO ASHAMED!" Riley cried as he fell to his knees. Naegi had a sweetdrop as he said trying to calm the teenager down from his breakdown.

"I-it's okay I am sure we can figure out another way out of here." Riley then started as he now had a smiley face and said "Whatever you say Naegi!"

Then the speakers came on as everyone heard a voice coming from it "Well well looks like we have last minute entries I would ask how you got here but I'll ask questions on you three later now head to the main assembly so I can meet you three in person and as for everyone else keepy enjoying yourself here."

Riley was confused as to who said that then he asked Naegi and the others as he said "Who was that?" Naegi and the others except Aura and Mira said "Monokuma." they said in a not so nice tone Riley then said "Hmm I see." As Nagegi and the others started to leave Team Mystic decided to head to the assembly to meet this Monokuma

A few minutes later

After a while Team Mystic arrived to meet this principal of this very school. Aura was on guard and kept a sharp eye out. Riley was waiting impatiently at this he was always the one to rush into things without thinking but he was smart sometimes while Mira was observing the hall
Riley then shouted as he started to run out of patience"Oh come where is this guy already?!"
Then they started to hear a voice coming for a microphone as it said "Well sorry to keep you and your friends waiting. I was busy with something." Riley, Aura and Mira heard the voice to find out where the voice came from

Just then a black and white bear came out from the place where the principal would make his announcements Team Mystic had different reactions Mira was shocked, Riley was confused and Aura just gave a look to the bear

Monokuma then jumped down from the and looked at Team Mystic "Greetings new classmates my name is Monokuma! I am the principal of this very school!" Riley had a dumbfounded expression as he said "Seriously the Principal is a bear geez I thought he'd be someone dangerous but this is a huge let down!." "Hey pal, watch your tone of voice because I am the Principal and don't forget it wiseguy!"

Aura then said to the bear in her serious voice "Monokuma correct? You said you wanted to talk to us about something." Monokuma was walking forward before he looked at the girl in the eyes as he said "Well my dear the answer is simple I was surprised by that little entrance you and your friends made at the cafeteria mind telling me how you did it?"
Aura said in an honest tone to him "Apologies but that is a trade secret. And even if we did we cannot replicate it as it was accidental and the materials for it seemed to have been left behind." Monokuma then said "Okay then well since you're new I'll give you rules in a nutshell.""

Mira then muttered "Well this outta be good."

Monokuma then jumped onto the stage and said to Team Mystic "You're gonna be trapped here with the others for the rest of your lives but luckily there is a way out of here by murdering someone!" Riley then yelled out in complete shock and anger at this "By killing someone!? This is how this game of yours works, are you out of your mind!?"

Monokuma then said "Well of course what's a little bit of fun without a bit of mystery and murder in your life." Monokuma then sees Riley's sword, the Heretic light and says "Ooh! That could be used as an execution weapon. I can use!" Monokuma then stole the sword from Riley which made the latter a bit upset as he said "Hey give that back the sword is my property!" Riley takes the sword from the bear he scoffed that the teenager took back his sword.

"Besides. That would be dumb to use it." Aura said. "The obvious culprit would be Riley and even if it looked like a plant there will always be something wrong with the scene or area that leads to the truth." Aura said. "And may I ask. Other than the obvious why do this? It's obvious you have some motive. Kidnapping kids to play a "Killing Game" you called it? Please if you want entertainment this is boring. Murder mystery was so last year." Aura said with a yawn.

"I won't say the bonds are not strong but don't underestimate them. Besides, I will say this Monokuma. We do not fear you. Compared to the stunts SunnySide has pulled this should be a cake walk." Aura says with a smile. "Unless I need to remind my friends on the story of the "Werehog" incident."

Monokuma then walked over to the centre of the hall and said to Team Mystic "Well I understand you might not be able to break here but there are others who aren't."
Team Mystic glared at the bear as he said "Well enjoy your stay here new students Nyeh!"
Aura sighed as she then spoke up "Now I see why they were so upset. That Bear is almost as annoying as SunnySide."

Team Mystic then leave as they returned to the cafeteria to meet the people they met earlier
Naegi then asked casually Team Mystic "So how did it go?" Riley then said "This school is completely off it's rocker! Killing people that's just wrong and insane at the same ditching time!"
Celestia then answered him in an honest tone "Indeed anyone in their right minds can fall victim to their dangerous desires if they are not careful."
Toko then said with a nervous tone in her voice "This is starting to creep me out!"
Aura standing tall then called out. "Alright let's stay calm for now getting to the point of things won't do us any good."
Sakura Ogami then said "Agreed but there is one thing still missing we haven't known yet."

Mira looked over in confusion and asked "And that's?"
Aoi then answered her as she said "Where are you three going to sleep?"
Riley then said as he placed a hand to his chin and told Aoi "You know my friends and I haven't got that part yet."

Aura then spoke up "If it wasn't for the fact that the rules forbade it I would suggest sleeping here. But with how the rules are structured while we can't sleep somewhere other than the dorm rooms it didn't say it had to be our own dorms. I suggest that some of us bunk together with each other." With a hum Aura then said "Maybe I should ask Monokuma about accomplices and if they count as these blackened. Knowing would be good for everyone. Because that would mean we needed to see if there is one blackened or two."
