"Yes! Yes, thank you very much! I'll be there by 5:00am tomorrow!"
Beck got off the phone and walked back towards his girlfriend, Jade, wrapping his arm around her shoulders.
"Who was that on the phone?" she asked.
Beck tried to hold back a giddy smile. "That was the manager for the Broadway play, Double Duchess. I'm going to play the main male role!"
Jade smiled excitedly. "That's great, babe!"
"What's great?" Tori asked, skipping up to the couple with Andre in tow.
"Beck got a big role in that Broadway play he auditioned for," Jade explained for Beck, still not liking it when he would talk to Tori.
"That's great! Congratulations!" Andre complimented. "Actually, Tori and I have got our own post-graduation plans as well! Tell'm Tor."
"Andre and I are going on tour as musicians!" Tori grabbed Andre's arm excitedly and he smiled down at her. "We have a lineup of songs, a tour bus… everything!"
"Oh! By the way," Jade but in, callously changing the subject. "Where's Double Duchess performing?"
Beck gulped. This was the part he was not looking forward to sharing. "New York."
