A/N: A One shot fanfiction that a fanfiction bot conjured up for me. Do not take anything here seriously, as I was not the one who wrote it. This story also contains Shadamy and Sonamy plotlines.
Amy Rose was caught cheating on Sonic with Shadow. Amy killed him by using her Shadow board to change the matrix of reality. Sonic questioned her and he found that her cause was the name "Shadow", even though Sonic believed it to be a bad thing. However, the Shadow Matrix no longer existed and the two abandoned him.
Sonic eventually returned to the real world, leaving Amy behind, along with Shadow. For many years, Amy continued to search for him and finally found him when she was working as a bartender. Sonic gave Amy the chance to live free in her own neighborhood by using his own money.
Amy and Shadow later partnered up again to help Sonic retrieve the Chaos Emeralds, but after the battle with the Egg Fleet, Amy realized she was a lot stronger than she thought and had to let Shadow go back to Sonic. A few months later, after Tails' departure, Amy returned home, but this time they discovered that a mysterious entity called Mega was destroying the city and the humans inside it. At the same time, events were starting to take a turn for the worse on Shadow's team; having been injured from their own battle, they had retreated to the Hospital where Amy was suffering from her own injuries from the fight. While Shadow refused to go back for him, Amy joined him and Sonic in stopping the raging storm that was destroying the city.
Since it was once Sonic's home, Shadow had always been haunted by the place. When he finally decided to go back, he left a message in the palm of his hand, telling Sonic and Amy to keep an eye out for him, so that he wouldn't turn to evil. Sonic and Amy returned to that living city, finding the two had formed a strong friendship. When he tried to convince Amy that she should be with him forever, she insisted that she wanted to stay with Shadow. Once the City Master threatened the Earth and ordered the machines to destroy it, Amy and Shadow helped the humans escape. They then hid in their lair.
After performing a spring-heeled swing on him, Shadow hid in the wreckage and helped take down the storm. Though Amy did want to let Sonic stay, Shadow mocked him in order to make Sonic go along with her. At the very end, though, Shadow agreed to take Sonic home and were seen hugging in each other's arms on the rooftop. While still scared to show their face after doing so for an extremely long time, Amy and Shadow welcomed Sonic home.
