Fantasmic is a Kingdom Hearts story that takes away Keyblades in replace of the world of Magic. This story begins the journey of a young Sorceress in training. This beginning entry tells the tale of her journey through the other worlds, for the very first time. This beginning tale tells of the destinies of 3 young apprentices to a mighty sorcerer. The Shining Star, the Fallen Sun, and the Silver Moon.

In the beginning, there was Magic. A phenomenon that was capable of anything. Magic can make mountains shake, tidal waves stir, and even shake the very core of the earth. But most importantly…they can fulfill the heart's desire…and even make dreams come true.

Magic was the light of the first world, but evidently…where the light goes, darkness follows.

And Wizards and mortals began to distance each other and darkness grew within each of them. Darkness in greed, darkness in lust, darkness in envy.

Soon, darkness controlled the hearts of all, and as the darkness spreads, leaving nothing but a bloody trail behind, the first world itself…fell into darkness.

But deep within the darkness…born from the hearts of children, are small glimmers of light that paint through the darkness.

Those fallen fragments of the first world are what paints the dark night. We know these fragments today…as stars.

And when Stars are born, they possess a gift or two

One of them is this: They have the power…to make a wish come true

Our story begins…in a tower. Stars dance throughout the vivid green and blue borealis-covered skies. Far off, in the realms between the reaches of space, there stands a tower. A lone tower painted with gold…and a sparkling green roof. Surrounding this tower is a sea. A blissful sea of golden clouds.

This tower begins our story. The tale of the majestic Wizard and his three apprentices.

One was raised by the Wizard,

One has sought out the Wizard,

And one founded by the Wizard.

All of the were taken in here, to a place that they would call home…and together they were trained the art of Magic by he they would call…father. Their tale begins here, in a magical tower…drifting through the starry skies. A place only known to many as…

World Name: Mysterious Tower

Master Yen Sid. One of the most powerful wizards throughout the Multiverse. His prowess is not to be exaggerated…not at all. Creator of a thousand spells, wisest of the wise, a man worthy of the title 'Archmage.'

It was another blissful night here, in the Mysterious Tower, a world where Yen Sid would call his home, and his place of study. Every night, the Master would gaze upon the starry skies, or the lush green yard. Those would fall to admiring the blissful stars…or admiring the playful antics of his 3 apprentices.

Ah yes, his apprentices. 3 young mice. One of these mice…was raised by Yen Sid, himself. After the death of his father, the mouse was taken under the care of Yen Sid. It was his father's last will. And no one he trusts more than Yen Sid, himself.

Like a brother…if you may.

Of all his children in the Magic Kingdom, this one was Walt's first and most favorable son.

This mouse was not only the Sorcerer's Apprentice, but he was also a King to a powerful and…magical Kingdom of his father's design. Where all the Multiverse is welcome. It doesn't matter if you're the youngest child, or the oldest adult. In this Kingdom…you're as welcome as can be.

But who is this mouse? And what sane person would entrust an entire Kingdom to a single mouse? Well…this mouse is…most special. Who else is worthy enough to have such a wise father, a caring mentor, a loving sweetheart, the kindest of friends?

No one else…but Mickey Mouse.

Our story begins in the young mouse's bedchamber, within the Mysterious Tower. The mouse couldn't sleep. No, not at all. He was giddy with excitement.

Tomorrow's so near and yet so far away. He can barely contain himself for you see, tomorrow is a very special and important day. Not only for him, but for his dearest friends. A day that will truly change, should he succeed.

You see, Master Yen Sid is a stern Wizard. A wizard who is hard to please. Getting recognition from him is like finding a golden pin in a haystack. Mickey's goal for the longest is for the Master to recognize him as a mouse who means business.

Mickey and a certain other have even gone to the lengths of competing against their Master's respect…while another…wellll…he doesn't…quite care enough about pleasing the Master.

"Tomorrow…I've gotta pass. I've just GOTTA." Mickey says to himself, as he could only look at the ceiling. Fantasizing of tomorrow. Soon, the mouse looks out to the window…and he gasped in awe.

Twinkling through the night skies he sees the sparkling light of comets in the distance. Soon, those comets falling began to increase in numbers. Mickey could only look in excitement.

"Gosh, I didn't know a Meteor Shower's happening tonight!" He exclaims.

Immediately, the mouse, giddy in anticipation hopped out of his bed and raced outside for a better view of the Meteor Shower.

Tower Courtyard

Now Mickey, Mickey has always been a free soul. Compared to his companions, he's the most outgoing of the group, just about anyone can vouch for him. He's witty, energetic, and yet…the kindest and sweetest mouse you'll ever meet.

However, it's no secret that Mickey has an…adventurous side. Such is the very target for trouble.

For instance, his mischievous shenanigans almost flooded the tower once before. He merely wanted to find an easier way to do his chores.

But, needless to say, despite his troublesome nature, he's still the kindest and most adventurous mouse of them all. Although, it's clear that his friends share one of both traits from him.

But perhaps, we'll cross that bridge when we get there. For now, we cut to the young mouse racing through the lush green grass.

He looked up to the sky to see the marvel that is the Meteor Shower. It was so magical that even his own eyes twinkled in awe.

"Wow…" Mickey muses as he stopped at the edge of the island.

Blink! Blink! Blink! One by one bright comets of light raced throughout the starry skies. Mickey could only do his signature chuckle…as he soon raised his gloved four-finger palm up.

Materializing in his gloved hand…is a staff.

A shimmering rod with a bright blue handle and a green tip extending upwards. The head of the staff is a shimming silver circle with spikes all around the outer edge of the staff. Finally, shimmering in the middle is a glittering, gold, star.

It was Mickey's own staff, the Comet Staff, a weapon filled with Magic. A powerful tool that ALL Wizards project their Magic to. In this case, Mickey and the two apprentices.

Mickey points his staff to the starry skies…and asserts this, in determination.

"When I become High Magician, maybe even an Archmage, why, I'll go to a buncha worlds! Chalk-full of 'em!" Mickey pledges as he looked up to the majestic stars.

"The Master always says that every star makes up one world. Just…imagine it…every star painted on this big ol' night sky…and it holds a completely different realm. Just imagine how beautiful they'll be…" The mouse could almost fantasize traversing to the other worlds.

That is…until he was interrupted.

"The Master also said going to other worlds are dangerous," A girl's voice pipes up, making the mouse jump.

"YIPE!" Mickey exclaims, as he turns around. The mouse only sighs in relief as he meets with a familiar face.

A girl mouse with the same dinner plate-shaped ears, black fur, and peach skin. Between her nose are her round-rimmed glasses.

Attire wise, the girl mouse was wearing a glittery magenta and purple sweater dress with an opal lace and golden heart-shaped emblem tied to her waist. The female mouse also wears white bloomers, white gloves like Mickey, and shimmering pink and oversized high-heel pumps.

Resting in between her ears, and under her tufts of fur made into a curl. Like a hairtstyle, if you may.

"On top of that, you can't do anything stupid when you're IN other worlds, because that would break the World Border." Explains Yen Sid's second apprentice and Mickey's good friend: Maggie Mouse. A mouse who excels higher in Magic than even Mickey.

"Aw, give me a break will ya, Maggie?" Mickey retorts playfully as the apprentice approached the mouse.

"Mickey, you idiot, you know we aren't supposed to be out at this hour. The Master put a curfew for a reason," Says Maggie, playfully.

"Aww, but I just can't help it! I'm just so excited for tomorrow, that…well I couldn't sleep!" Mickey says in anticipation. Maggie only rolled her eyes as she sat down with the mouse on the lush grass.

"Well, you can't be excited if you can't get sleep." Maggie reminds. Mickey scratched his head, bashfully.

"Gosh, well…when ya put it that way…" He says as they both chuckled. "I'll turn in soon, enough. Right now…I just wanna look at the stars. Just for a sec." Soon enough, Maggie decided to take the mouse's lead.

"Now that you mention it…the stars are just...extra purdy tonight." Maggie says, as each glace up in the sky, she becomes more and more entranced by the star's enchanting light. "Wow…" she says in awe.

"Stars are the darndest things, aren't they, Maggie? Why, so many things have been thrown around about stars" Mickey starts. Maggie chuckles.

"Well, of course, you'd have a fixation on stars. You have one on your staff." Maggie quips, as the two giggled. Soon enough, Maggie looked back up at the skies…and a question arose from the Sorceress in training.

"What the Master says is true, right? That every star makes up a world?" She asks.

"Yep, I always take the time to see every last one of 'em, every time I head back home." Mickey asks.

"I…never really visited your home have I, Mickey? Studying and all that, hehe~" Maggie says bashfully.

"Well, not only do stars take up one world. They say, that stars have Magic within 'em. Magic that'll make wishes come true." Mickey explains.

"Really?" Maggie couldn't help but ask. "I've never heard about all that…" Mickey only chuckles.

"You know the old sayin' 'When you wish upon a star, makes no difference who you are!" Mickey starts.

"Anything your heart desires will come to you…" Maggie finishes as she and Mickey gazed upon the stars in the sky. The mouse nods in agreement.

"Yeah." He simply says.

"Ha-cha-cha~ What have we here?" A third voice says, snapping the two mice out of the star's entrancement. Mickey and Maggie turned to see another mouse approaching them. This mouse, however, is much taller than the both of them. Towering even.

A tall and slim mouse with black fur, white gloves, and cream skin. This time compared to the other two mice, this mouse has a longer snout, whiskers, and buck teeth.

Attire wise, this mouse was wearing a purple and gold star-covered cloak, pristine white gloves, and black shoes with white spats. The mouse holds his own staff as if it was a cane.

Compared to Mickey's, the mouse's staff is a bit more…flashy. His staff shimmers in complete gold, and it's much longer than Mickey's own. The tip of the staff has the shape of a gold phoenix. Finally, the head of the staff is in the shape of a golden sun with a flaring ball of energy in the middle.

The third and most…arrogant of the trio makes the scene: Mortimer Mouse.

Now, Mickey and Mortimer have a history of competing against each other, while Maggie serves as the straightmouse to ensure they won't kill each other. Unlike Mickey and Maggie, Mortimer doesn't care about striving to please the Master. All he cares about is one-upping Mickey, his long-time rival.

"So, are the two of ya finally datin', does that mean I can have Minnie?" Mortimer taunts as he approaches the two. Maggie chuckles bashfully as Mickey sighs in annoyance.

"Hello, Mortimer." Mickey says reluctantly. "And if I keep sayin' no to every other time ya ask, what makes ya think I'll say yes, this time?"

"Mickey and I are friends. I wouldn't go between the mouse he loves." Maggie confesses. Mortimer, however, raises a brow.

"Riiiiiiiiight~" He says sarcastically. "Anyway, the Master wants ya knuckleheads to get to bed ASAP. You two forgot about the Mark of Mastery, already? I mean…I'd be GLAD to take the win by default, ya'd li-"

"Not a chance!" Mickey interjects. Mortimer grins.

"What's a matter, Mick? Afraid that I'll wipe the floor with ya, regardless?" The tall mouse challenged.

"Afraid? Me? Of course not! If anyone's gonna be the High Magician, it's gonna be me!" Mickey asserts.

"Ya hear that, Maggie? THAT sounds like the talk of a scardy-mouse!" Mortimer retorts.

"Why don't we spar now, and I'll show ya!" Mickey challenged.

"YOU'RE ON!" Mortimer retorts. Immediately, the girl mouse got in between the two.

"Alright, alright, let's not kill each other, again. Or have you two forgotten about what happened the LAST time you sparred with each other?" Maggie reminded the two.

That alone, immediately made the two male mice gulped.

"Gosh, how could I forget?" Mickey says bashfully.

"The Master has us rebuild the whole tower, from the ground up." Mortimer cringed. Maggie nods in agreement.

"And do you two REALLY want to a repeat of almost putting the tower into cinders?" Maggie asks credulously. The two mice sighed.

"No." They said in unison. Maggie smiles.

"Good~ So, instead of challenging each other, why don't we wish each other luck, instead?" Maggie suggests as she swayed around with her arms behind her back.

"It's just like the Master said: there are no winners. Only truths. For, when equal powers clash, their true natures will be revealed."

"Man, you're such a teacher's pet." He says rolling his eyes. Mickey, however held out his hand.

"Y'know what, Mortimer? I think she's right." Mickey says in agreement. "We've always tried to compete for so long. How about this time, we put our differences aside, and do our best for the Master?"

The tall mouse was…reluctant. But it's clear that he's not going to win this battle. The mouse rolls his eyes and the two mice shook gloved hands.

"Alright, alright. But don't expect me to go soft on ya, Mick. And I won't go soft on ya either, Maggie." Mortimer challenges the both of them. "I'm Mortimer Mouse, after all. I don't need luck on my side. I got this exam in the bag." He says casually.

"I can't expect you to make a big change like that, anyway," Maggie sighs. "All I'm just saying that…we wish each other luck…and let the stars guide us to victory. A wish can go pretty far, can't it?" She asks turning to Mickey.

"Yep!" He says in agreement. Mortimer couldn't help but…gag at this display.

"Ugh, wishing, smishing. I don't need some dumb star or those baby tales to give me luck…when I got this~" Mortimer taunts as he twirls his staff. Soon enough, the mouse began to walk to the tower.

"Aw, c'mon, Mortimer. You'd be surprised how far wishing on a star could take you. Who knows? It might even make your wildest dreams come true. You just gotta believe," Maggie assures.

"Believe? HA! The only thing I believe is that I'm gonna ace this exam. Y'know, you should quit eatin' up those baby stories of Mick's, Mag. Some ball of air miles away from here won't do much." Mortimer simply says as he enters the tower, leaving the two. Maggie lowers her head in defeat, as Mickey pats her back.

"Aw, don't listen to him, Maggie. Mortimer's a tough nut to crack, anyway." Mickey assures.

"Yeah…I guess you're right." Maggie sighs.

"But he does have a point. We better turn in." Mickey inquires, as Maggie raised her brow.

"Wasn't I the one who came out here to tell YOU that?" She asks credulously. Mickey only chuckles bashfully.

"Well I uh…gotta go! Seeya tomorrow!" Mickey exclaims. Before Maggie could get a word in, Mickey was already racing to the tower. The girl mouse could only cross her arms and tap her feet in annoyance.

"Oh, Mickey. Ever the loon." The mouse sighs as she trailed behind. However, before she entered the tower, she took one last look up in the sky. One last meteor flew through the stars.

"Baby tales." Maggie chuckles at Mortimer's echoing words. "Who's to say those tales can't become reality? In a world of Magic…anything is possible." She simply says as the stars twinkled through the skies.

"All it takes…is belief."
