The two of them were in the Camero on a night-time stakeout. They were currently surveilling omeone they believe was their suspect. They believed the suspect was involved in multiple robberies involving two victims shot professionally in their homes. They knew the suspect was armed and dangerous, so taking precautions for their own safety was important. Unfortunately, for someone that seemed to go over their heads. Especially when they suggested that the only way to get evidence proving their guilt was to break into the suspect's house. So that's why the two of them were sat in the car. They were waiting for the suspect to leave the house.

Once the suspect was out of the house, the two of them would make their move and go in, while the other two members of the team would tail the suspect. Although Steve couldn't see Danny's facial expression, he could still tell what his partner was thinking.

"I know what you're doing, Danny" Steve told him, still surveilling the house. "You're judging me."

"Of course I'm judging you." Danny replied, still looking at the back of Steve's head. "it's what I do."

Steve turned to face his partner. Danny could see Steve had his aneurysm face .

"What?" Steve said.

"What do you mean 'what'?" came Danny's reply.

"Why are you judging me?"

Danny let out an exasperated sigh. Then he began to wave his hands about. Steve just let Danny rant.

"Why do you think I'm judging you, you idiot? We're currently staking out a suspect who we know to be armed and dangerous. And soon we'll be breaking into that suspect's house. That's why I'm judging you."

"Danny,, the house is going to be empty when we break in." Steve told him. "Chin and Kono are going to tail."

"I don't care if Chin and Kono are going to tail him. We're still going to break into a house!"

"So?" Steve sighed, getting annoyed.

"So," Danny explained, "we still don't know if he has an accomplice. And if he does, then, how do we know the accomplice is not in the house with him?"

"Okay, firstly, we don't know if our has an accomplice. Secondly, there's only one person in the house and thats our suspect. "

"We don't know he hasn't got an accomplice." Danny said, slightly raising his voice.

"Why are you yelling?" Steve asked.

"I'm not yelling."

"You're quite loud, bruv." Chin's voice came through the earpieces.

Steve let out a small laugh. Giving him a glare, Danny spoke into the earpiece.

"Don't you start, Chin."

"I'm not the one you need to tell off." Chin said.

"Right. But, am I the only one who thinks this is a stupid idea?" Danny asked.

"When do you not think everything's a stupid idea?" Steve pointed out.

Danny glared at him.

"When it comes to you, Steven, everything is a stupid idea."

Danny's response earned him a chuckle from both Chin and Kono.

"He's got you on that one, boss" Kono answered.

"Yeah, well, when do I come with a plan that Danny hasn't made a comment on?" Steve said back.

"That's true too, bruv." Chin agreed.

They were about to carry on with their friendly argument when Kono's voice interrupted them.

"Guys, suspect is on the move."

"Right, you know what to do." Steve ordered. "Chin, Kono, stay close to him."

"Will do." Both Chin and Kono replied.

Once Steve and Danny saw both cars drive off, Steve got his gun.

"Okay, ready, Danno?"

Danny shook his head.

"Good. Let's go." Steve responded.
