In the world of Remnant there was the kingdom of Vale. Vale was home to the prestigious school known as Beacon academy, where students are trained to be huntsman, the protectors of Remnant against the creatures of Grimm. Near Beacon academy was the Emerald Forest, where the initiation and team up for teams would usually happen. But currently that was not the case as a student I was running through the Emerald Forest as fast as he could.
The student question was wearing a black short sleeve hoodie with a cartoon rabbit on the front, blue torn-up jeans with matching black sneakers, red armbands, and light brown leather fingerless gloves. He was Jaune Arc, a first-year student at Beacon academy or was until recently.
' What was I even thinking! I saved that scumbags life and what does he do, he tells everyone my secret! I have nothing left.' Thought Jaune as he continue running deeper and deeper into the forest.
It all started a week ago after the trip to forever fall. Cardin Winchester had ordered Jaune, who he has been blackmailing for weeks to humiliate his friend/ teammate Pyrrah Niko's. Jaune having had enough of Cardin's blackmailing and refusing to humiliate one of the few people who ever believed in him refused.
Cardin proceeded to beat Jaune until they were ambushed by a large Ursa. Cardin tried to fight back but was quickly defeated. As he was cowering in fear as the large Grimm went in for the kill Jaune ran in and with a lucky strike managed to kill the large Grimm.
Now normally a person would be grateful for someone saving their life but instead of being grateful Cardin was anything but. Instead of being grateful Cardin was bitter and spiteful for his life being saved by someone he deemed inferior to him. So without even batting an eye Cardin revealed Jaune's secret.
Once kind eyes of his peers now looked at Jaune with disgust and hatred, as many came to believe that he stole a spot at Beacon, something they spend years working to get there, from someone who deserve to be at Beacon. Soon everything went from bad to worse for the young Arc. Jaune did not mind the stairs of hatred and anger, but things quickly escalated.
Soon Jaune was bullied on a daily basis by his fellow students, each day seeming worse than the last. At first it started with simple name calling and insults and swears. But soon it escalated to physical mistreatment.
It started with shoving to having his books knock out of his hands. If he tried to pick them up someone I would take the opportunity to kick him.
At lunch he would have food thrown at him or like his books, have them knocked out of his hands, or in some cases, have his food pored onto his person.
In combat class it seem to be the worse as many did not hold back against him. Many time Jaune had his Aura depleted within a matter of seconds saved only in time by the intervention of Professor Goodwitch.
Jaune tried to keep a straight face but slowly the abuse was starting to affect him mentally and physically. Of course Jaune hope that his friends would have his back but that was not the case for most of them.
Weiss Schnee yelled at him calling him a pathetic loser in a foot. She literally spat in his face calling him all kinds of things and ridiculing him for thinking he ever had a chance with her. Jaune at that moment felt his heart break.
Blake Belladonna honestly did not care about a situation as she had her own problems and did nothing to help him against the abuse.
Yang Xiao Long destroy the wall in her fury, telling him it was better if he stayed away from her as she did not trust liars.
Nora Valkyrie just completely ignored him and anytime he would get clothes she would raise her hammer, indicating she did not want him anywhere near her
Lie Ren just gave Jaune the silent treatment not even acknowledging his leaders existence.
Jaune was extremely hurt as he believed they would have his back as he truly believed they were his friends. But it was not all bad as two people had his back through the whole ordeal.
Ruby Rose did not hate Jaune, not even in the slightest. She knew that Jaune came to the school because he honestly wanted to help people and she saw nothing wrong with that. She was a little hurt when she learned that he lied but she heard him out and understood why he did what he did. Of course she had to meet up with him and secret as she knew her overprotective sister would overreacting and hurt her best friend.
Pyrrah Niko's was another person who still believed in Jaune. She knew the truth before the review as the boy in question had told her personally. Pyrrah at first couldn't face him but after realizing that he wasn't there to have fun, he was there for the same reason she was there, to help people. Pyrrah did her best to protect her partner using her status as the most skilled of the first years to protect Jaune from his bullies. The other reason she stood by a mess because she had become smitten with the young Arc, as he saw her as a person and treated her as such.
Jaune was honestly happy that he had real friends during his whole ordeal and was hoping for the best. But fate was only about to get much cooler for the young Arc.
Exactly several hours ago Jaune was called into Headmaster Ozpin's office. Jaune was sure what the news was about but braced himself.
As he suspected he learned the sad news that he was being expelled from Beacon academy
Jaune it is absolute best not to shed any tears as Ozpin explained everything. Including the fact that he knew that Jaune had faked his way into Beacon but saw potential in him. Jaune just stood there until the Headmaster was finished talking and quietly left without saying a word.
Jaune felt his rage boiling over as he went down the elevator, I no longer thinking rationally went to a place he knew a certain somebody would be.
Jaune waited in the boys bathroom until he spotted the person he was waiting for, the man who would ruin his life Cardin Winchester. Jaune full of rage and with a prize on his side attacked Cardin completely catching him off guard.
Using is momentum and not caring at all about the consequences John began to beat Cardin. Cardin tried to get away but Jaune would not let him as with quick momentum he slammed Cardin into a nearby stall and stuffed his head down the toilet. Jaune then proceeded to hold Cardinals head under water before removing it allowing is bully to breathe before delivering a powerful roundhouse kick sending card and flying into the sinks.
Jaune knowing that was no turning back quickly remove this armor and ran from Beacon as fast as he could.
Jaune what's currently running through the Emerald forest without a care in the world, knowing full well that soon someone will discover Cardin in such a state and come after him.
Jaune continue running and running until he spotted a nearby cave and decided to use it as a makeshift hideout until nightfall where he could escape into the darkness.
"Ha! Ha! Ha! Whew, got to lay low for a while."said Jaune as he decided to go deeper into the cave to avoid the pursuer that would soon be coming after him.
As Jaune was making his way through the cave it started getting dark so he made a makeshift torch with what he found around him.
"Ha? This is the cave where Pyrrah and me encountered that deathstalker, it's much bigger than I thought I wonder what's in here."said Jaune as he ventured deeper into the cave, hoping opening that would allow him to escape.
As Jaune and further and further into the cave he began to notice several deposits of dust crystals he had never seen before.
"Well what do we have here, I've never seen dust like this before, must be an ultra rare type."
Jaune then and there decided to grab a few of the dust crystals and put them into his pockets, Hoping to use them as a bargaining chip with someone who can help him get out of the kingdom.
As he was collecting dust crystals, Jaune felt a small tremor.
"Must be bullhead holding my pursuers, lucky for me I turned off my scroll so they can track me."said Jaune as he felt more tremors.
As the tremors continued Jaune failed to notice that the tremors were causing some of the looser dust crystals to fall onto the floor.
Soon a particularly big does crystal beyond the wiggle before it finally fell from the ceiling of the cave.
"Oh this can't be good!"said Jaune as a crystal hit the ground with extreme force causing a makeshift explosion.
Jaune braced himself as the explosion envelop the room. A moment later when the smoke cleared it was revealed that nothing had been damaged and everything was in place, except for Jaune, who completely vanished.
[Unknown location]
"Oohhh my head!"said Jaune as he awoke from being knocked out from the explosion.
As Jaune's vision was starting to stabilize he looked himself over and was surprised to see you had no burn marks at all.
"What the, I know I have aura but still?!"said a very confused Jaune.
"Okay calm down Jaune, first let's figure out where you are."
Jaune began to look around and noticed that he was no longer in the cave that he was in some kind of jungle as the vegetation was much thicker and larger than the Emerald forest.
"Okay either I'm dreaming or that dust teleported me somewhere."Exclaimed Jaune as he got up and began looking around.
Jaune began to make his way through the thick brush, pushing away leaves and branches as he tried to find some sort of civilization.
"Okay this is a car to be a dream right! There is no way that I'm in the jungle in the middle of nowhere!"
As Jaune continue to push forward he heard a familiar sound of a vehicle moving around at quickly hid behind some brush fearing it was the huntsman or soldiers sent to capture him.
As Jaune peek through the brush he noticed that they were not huntsman and most likely soldiers in uniform but none he recognized.
The soldiers in question were wearing camouflage uniforms with a patch with a bunch of stars in a circle. From what he could tell their weapons what standard issue guns that one would expect from a soldier. Jaune listening closely as they began to speak a language he did not recognize.
Jaune feeling that it was not safe to stick around began to slowly move away until he accidentally stepped on a branch causing the mysterious soldiers to turn around and spot him.
"no te muevas!"Yelled one of the soldiers but Jaune did not understand.
Jaune did the only thing he could as he did not have his weapon and it stinks really put his hands up. Unfortunately when the soldiers got a good look at him one of them fired their weapon hitting Jaune on the forehead. luckily Jaune had a lot of Aura which protected him from the bullet. As said bullet fell to the ground the soldiers looked at him with surprise as they noticed that what should have been a killshot did not work.
"Ouch! Hey I'm surrendering here."Yelled Jaune causing one of the soldiers was wearing a beret to approach him.
"You speak perfect English, what is your name American!"said the soldier,who Jaune assume was the one in charge.
"I have no idea what an American is, and my name is Jaune Arc!"replied Jaune as he still had his hands in the air.
"Like Joan of Arc."
"Who?"
"Hmm your name is French but you speak like an American,still how is it that you survive with little to no injury with a clear bullet intended for your brain."said the soldiers he walked up to John and picked up the bullet seen that he was completely smashed.
"Hmm...General Almagro could have use for you you're coming with us!"said the leader as he threw Jaune to the ground and quickly put handcuffs on him.
Before Jaune could say anything a bag was placed over his head and he was quickly put into the back of the Jeep as the soldiers got back on and took him away.
"Are you sure about this jefe."said one of the soldiers as Jaune was kicking and screaming in the back.
"Yes, whatever he is made of or whatever is protecting him it is a waste not to use it, who knows he could prove useful in the future."replied the commander to his subordinate.
A long while later Jaune felt a bunch of hands grab him as he was forced up to his feet and forced to move with the bag still on his head.
As Jaune continue to move forward he could hear many people speaking in the language he did not understand as the sound of a door open and he was quickly shoved inside. Jaune then felt himself being four syllables sat down before the bag was finally removed from his head.
"So this is the boy who survived a bullet to the Head Eduardo."said a man who based on the number of stars on his uniform assumed was General Almagro
"Yes your Excellency, my subordinates shot him straight between the eyes and yet the boys still stands with no clear injury, I like to report that some strange energy appeared around him as the bullet fell to the ground."
"Interesting, and you say his name is similar to Joan of Arc."
"Yes sir, Jaune is what I believe he said his name was."
"General Almagro I presume."said Jaune as he stared at the general.
Jaune felt then and there he was going to die but he was not going to die like a coward, so I decided to face and glare at is potential killer without fear, refusing to beg for his life.
"He speaks like an American, he dresses like an American, but something tells me he isn't an American."said the General.
"I have no idea what an American even is and if you're going to kill me just do it!"Yelled Jaune.
"Hmm...Many in your position would have already begged for their lives but not you, tell me boy how did you survive the bullet that hit your head?!"said General Almagro as he showed Jaune the bullet in question.
"Just have a really hard head, that's what my sister always tells me anyway."
"A wise guy."said the general before he pulled out his gun and pointed it towards Jaune's head.
"Just kill me, I have nothing left to lose."said Jaune as he stared at the gym with don't fear.
Jaune honestly did not care if he died then and there in that room as what did he have to lose. His dream of being a huntsman was never going to happen. Most of a so-called friends turned their backs on him.
And there was no way he could ever go home as he knew he would most likely be banished from the family for dishonoring the family name. So at that very moment Jaune honestly did not care if he lived or died.
General Almagro meanwhile put away his gun and smiled.
"Hahaha that is what I like to see, it's very rare that I meet someone like you so how about I hand out an offer."
"What kind of offer."said Jaune as he knew then and there from the look in the generals eyes that it was an offer he couldn't refuse.
"Join the Federation of the Americas. Soon all of South America will be under my banner so I suggest you join the winning side."explained Almagro.
Jaune had no idea what this South America was, but seeing as how he had nothing to lose and nowhere to go Jaune immediately knew his answer.
"I guess I have no choice."
"Excellent, take him away to Caracas, and put them in the boot camp let's see if you can survive the training Jaune."said the general has Jaune was led away in handcuffs.
"Your Excellency are you sure it's a good idea to let him live."
"The boy is special, I can tell by the look in his eyes he is not lying about not being American, and whether he lives or dies who cares,.Soon all of Central America will be mine and nothing will stop me, not even those pathetic United States."said General Almagro.
Meanwhile Jaune was in another Jeep. This time he wasn't handcuffed as he was now unofficially the property of the Federation. As Jaune mine began to wander he looked outside and spotted something he never expected to see.
The moon he had seen so many times was no longer shattered into pieces it was whole. Jaune couldn't make sense of this as it was not possible. As Jaune tried to come up with a rational solution is mine only came to one conclusion.
"I'm no longer on Remnant."whispered Jaune as he was trying his best not to freak out.
After taking a few deep breaths Jaune come down and thought of a situation.
'So I'm on some unknown world where I'm now unofficially the property of the government, great..."Thought Jaune as he continued to stare into the night sky.
As Jaune continue to look into the sky his mind began to wander. Recalling everything he did that led up to this situation he clenched his fist as tightly as he could, rage began to overtake him.
'All I ever wanted to do was help people but no! Everyone I knew got in my way! I saved that scumbags life and what does he do he ruins my life! You know what, this is actually a blessing in disguise I'll rise through the ranks and take control of this Federation, and I don't care how long it takes I will return to Remnant and show them all what Jaune Arc is capable of!' Thought Jaune as he looked through his pockets that still had the dust crystals he collected earlier in them.
"Just you wait, I'll show you all."said Jaune as the Jeep continued to drive into the night.
