Ginny walked through the halls of Hogwarts, feeling more and more nervous with every step. Her fiery red hair kept sweeping on front of her face. She liked her hair, but she honestly thought it was annoying. Not to mention the fact that Marcus Flint had pulled it back in Quidditch to stop her from getting the quaffle.

Back to her being a total nervous wreck. Holding the note tighter in her hand, she made her way into the boy's dormitory and making sure no one was there, especially Ron and Dean.

Ron because she was his sister, and therefore overprotective of her. Dean because, well, she had dated him since last year and they were currently dating.

She was finding him increasingly aggressive, pinning her against walls, trying to expose her before or after showers. Ginny had quickly realised he wasn't as fabulous as she thought he was, trying to get what a lot of teenage boys wanted out of their girlfriends. He had tried slipping potions, stealing her clothes, using spells on her and bribing. None of them worked; she was still a virgin.

Ginny slipped the note under Harry's pillow. She bit her lip, wondering if she had made the right choice revealing her feelings to Harry like this. But then again, she had left the letter unsigned.

Ginny had a feeling Harry would know it was her, seeing as she spent most of her free time staring at him, and he had caught her doing it quite a few times. Though she had caught him staring too.

Ginny cautiously came back down from the dormitory. Luckily only a few first years were in the Common Room. She left the Common Room to find Dean.

Ginny was worried he would take this badly. He had started to suggest taking their relationship to the next level and not subtly.

All her worries disappeared suddenly when she turned the corner to see Dean snogging a fourth-year from Ravenclaw. Of course, Dean would go for a young, attractive, smart girl. From what Ginny could identify without looking at their mouths, the Ravenclaw was blond-haired with pink tips. She had a small curved nose and a lightly freckled face, not too much, not too little, unlike Ginny, who had an abundance.

Ginny's eyes welled up at the sight of it. Not to the fact that Dean was kissing someone (she couldn't care less), but that they were still together, though she was about to break it up.

The Ravenclaw lifted her head slightly, then clearly not knowing that Ginny and Dean were a couple, said

"Oh, babe, we better go somewhere else, this hallway is obviously too busy. How bout we take this to my dorm?" speaking the last part quieter while raising her brow suggestively.

"Huh? Oh, no. No, no, no, no." Dean said as he took sight of Ginny. He was distraught, but not enough to let go of his snogging partner.

Ginny felt a tear creep down her face. How could he do this to her? If she hadn't loved him before, she definitely didn't love him now.

"Ginny, I am sorry. I didn't mean to cheat. Pam was just so hot..." Dean stuttered, then stop abruptly when he realised what he had said.

In a choked voice, Ginny replied, "I was coming down to break it off with you anyway. I just thought you were above cheating."

The Ravenclaw, Pam, squealed with excitement. "Now we can be together without secrets, babe! Oh, this is great!" Dean smiled at her, but then shot her a dark look.

"Wait, so you've been cheating on me for a while? Dean!" Ginny said as soon as she realised.

"Ginny..." Dean whimpered, looking hurt. Like he was the victim. "I don't want to break up with y-" He was forced to stop talking as Ginny basically ran forward and slapped his face.

"Save it. Good luck with Dean, Pam, I mean it. He sexually harasses girls." And with that, Ginny walked off, her eyes now free of tears, looking forward to freedom. And seeing that red mark on her now ex's face.
