Bill smiled, peering in the window at his little brother and sister. Charlie pulled on his pant leg, "Bill! I can't see!" He complained. Bill chuckled, getting his 7-year-old brother onto his back.
"Wow. They're so small." Charlie murmured in amazement, leaning closer to the glass, he looked back to his older brother, "What are their names again?"
"Ron and Ginny. They're twins. Like Fred and George." Bill explained, for what felt like the billionth time.
"Where are Fred and George?" Charlie asked.
"With Grandma and Percy. They're too small to visit."
Charlie nodded in understanding. "Can we see Mum now?"
"Sure. But she's most likely asleep."
As they walked away, they didn't see a pair of chocolate brown eyes open, and start looking around.

"Ginny, dear! Time to go to Diagon Alley!"
I finished brushing the knots out of my hair, and called, "Coming, Mum!". I grabbed my coat and walked out of my room.
When I got downstairs I was greeted by the sight of a green haired Percy chasing Fred and George around. I giggled, looking at Mum, who was trying to hold back a smile.
"Fix your brother, Fred! We've got to go!" She ordered.
The twins sighed, "Yes, Mum."
George tossed Percy a candy, and Percy glared at them suspiciously before putting it in his mouth. His hair faded back to red, and he glared at the twins one last time before getting in the Floo.
"Diagon Alley!" Percy yelled, dropping the powder into the flames. The fire rose with a flourish, and swallowed my brother.
"Alright, Ginny. You next." Mum said, giving me a soft push towards the fireplace.
I grabbed the Floo Powder, and called out Diagon Alley before releasing it into the flames.
My world started whirling, and suddenly I was on the floor of a dark shop I'd never been to before.
"Are you alright?" A voice asked from above me.
I pushed myself up, and stood, "I'm fine. Thank you."
I looked over the boy in front of me. His white blonde hair was slicked back, and his questioning gray eyes resembled a stormy sky. He was dressed in fine black robes. He stuck out his hand, "Draco Malfoy. Pleasure."
I shook his hand, "Ginny Weasley. And the pleasure is all mine."
The corner of his lips turned down, "Weasley? Hm. Our family has a bit of history."
"I'm guessing it's not good?"
"No."
"So am I supposed to hate you just because my father hates yours?"
"Ideally, yes. But you seem alright to me. Are you going to Hogwarts this year?"
"Yes! I can't wait! Are you?"
"Yes. I wanted to go to Durmstrang, but Mother doesn't want me too far away. What house are you hoping for?"
"I don't really know. My whole family has always been Gryffindor, so I suppose that's what I will get."
Draco nodded, "I'm going for Slytherin."
I frowned, "I hear a lot of bad things about the people who come out of there."
"You know, Merlin was a Slytherin."
"Really? I assumed he was a Ravenclaw."
"Yes, most people do, but Slytherin's are smart too."
"Ginny! Ginny!" I heard Mum scream.
I smiled at Draco, "It was nice to meet you Draco. See you at Hogwarts?"
"Of course. Bye, Ginny."
I walked outside, and followed my mother's voice.
"Mum!" I called.
Mum whirled around, "Oh, Ginny dear! Are you alright?"
"I'm fine, Mum. Just went to the wrong Floo."
"Well come on dear, let's go get your wand. Are you sure that's what you want as your birthday present?"
"I'm sure, Mum."
"Who were you talking to, in the shop?"
"Draco Malfoy."
Mum froze, and looked me strait in the eyes, "Ginny, don't talk to that boy again. He's not a good person."
"Yes, Mum."

I looked at the big train with a smile on my face, "Can you believe it, Ron? We're finally going to Hogwarts."
"I'm excited." He agreed
Mum put her hands on our shoulders, "Now, don't be nervous. You'll do great. Don't listen to Fred and George, and owl us as soon as your sorted. Okay?"
"Yes, Mum." We chorused.
We grabbed our trunks, and walked onto the train.
"Ginny!" I heard a familiar voice call.
I turned and smiled, "Hello, Draco. This is my brother Ron. Ron, Draco Malfoy. Draco, Ron Weasley."
Draco extended a hand, and Ron looked at him in disgust, "Malfoy? Dad warned me about you. And your father."
Draco sneered, "At least my fathers not a blood traitor."
"No, just a Death Eater."
Draco scowled, "He was under the Imperius curse, Weasley."
Ron glared at Draco, "So he claims. Come on Ginny. I don't want to be around this Death Eater scum any longer."
I looked at Draco, back to Ron.
"I'm sorry, Draco. I'll talk to you later. I promise." I followed Ron to a compartment, empty except for one raven haired boy.
I stuck my head in, "Hello, I'm Ginny, and this is my brother, Ron. Do you mind if we sit here? The other one's are full."
The boy nodded, "I don't mind."
I sat in the seat across from the boy, and Ron next to him.
"So, what's your name?" I asked.
"Harry. Harry Potter."
"So... can I see the scar?" My brother asked.
"Ron!" I scolded, "Don't be so rude!"
Harry chuckled, "It's alright, really." he assured me. He lifted up his hair, to reveal a lighting bolt shaped scar.
I inhaled sharply, while Ron stared at in wonder. Harry dropped his hair to cover the scar, and I looked at the floor.
I frowned, If Draco's dad is a Death Eater... how many people has he killed? Is he training Draco to do the same? We're Mum and Ron right?
"Anything off the trolley, dears?" a voice asked from the doorway. My eyes snapped up to the old woman.
Ron raised his corned beef sandwiches, "We're all set, thanks."
Harry looked at the sandwiches for a few seconds, before pulling out more galleons than I had ever seen.
"We'll take the lot." Harry said.
Soon, our compartment was filled with sweets.
I grabbed a chocolate frog, and ripped one of it's arms off before chomping on it.
I noticed Harry's look of disgust and laughed, "They aren't alive. It's just a charm."
I broke off the second leg and extended it to him.
He careful took it, before biting it. He looked at it for a second, before finishing the whole thing.
"What card did you get, Gin?" Ron asked.
"Dumbledore." I replied.
"Who's Dumbledore?" Harry asked
"The headmaster of Hogwarts. Here read his card." I explained, handing my frog card to Harry.
He read over the card, "He seems impressive. Woah! He's gone!"
"Well you can't expect him to stay around forever. Busy man." Ron said.
I frowned, I failed to see how an old man living in a castle had so much influence over the world.
I took a bite of my chocolate frog and stared out the window. I wonder if Draco's mad I didn't go with him.
I stood up, tossing my half finished chocolate frog in my seat. "I'm going to the bathroom." I said, walking out of our compartment.
I turned, and started walking down the train.
I looked in each compartment, searching for a pale blonde boy with swirling grey eyes. I finally found him, sitting with a brown boy, and a black haired boy. I slid open the compartment door. "Is it okay if I sit?"
"Yes." Draco answered.
I sat across from Draco, "I'm sorry about earlier."
Draco frowned, "It's whatever."
"Is your dad really a..."
Draco nodded.
"Do you want to be?"
"Do I have a choice?"
"You always have a choice, Draco."
"No. No I don't."
I smiled, "Okay. Introduce me, will you?"
Draco nodded, "Right. This is Blaise Zabini, and Theo Nott. Blaise, Theo, this is Ginny Weasley."
"Weasley?" Theo asked.
Draco gave him a glare, and Theo quieted.
Blaise looked me over, "What house are you going for?"
I shrugged, "All of my family has been Gryffindor. So I guess that'll be my house."
Theo scoffed.
I rolled my eyes, "Do you have any Jelly Slugs?" I asked Draco.
He tossed me a pack, and I pulled out a red one, putting it in my mouth.
"So, anyone up for a game of Exploding Snap?" I asked.
——
I walked back to my compartment and grabbed my robes out of my trunk.
"Where the bloody hell did you run off to?" Ron asked.
"On my way to the loo I ran into Luna and we played a game of Exploding Snap." I lied, smiling slightly.
"Now get out, I need to change." I ordered.

Go easy on me! This is the first thing I've written in a while! I hope to continue this story, but don't expect every chapter to be 2k words long, I don't have that much free time.
