Hello, so new story! Let's get into this!

Let me tell you a story, a long, long time ago amazing powers started appearing all over the world. People were scared, and crime rates rose to its highest. Laws were made to allow life to be normal for people with quirks which were quickly becoming normal, were being called quirks. As peaceful as a quirked society could be, for 100 years then war started. The quirkless were tired of being underneath the quirked, they waged war. The war lasted about three years, not just in Japan but all over the world, finally the war ended, the leader of the quirkless army was shot and the war went spiraling downhill after that. The quirkless lost. Every quirkless person apart of the Quirkless Army was killed, many other quirkless people, men, women, children, dead because people were scared. Now when a child turns four and if they're deemed quirkless then they get a permanent mark on their left hand, a black "Q".

Quirkless.

Useless.

Monsters.

Weak.

Stupid.

Villainous.

That's what we're called, all because of a stupid war that happened before most of us were even born! It's not fair, the world never is, but this, this is the world hating, no the world rejecting us for something we had no control over! Sorry, I just hate how they throw us to the side and go praise their "Heroes" . Heroes are people who make you feel safe, who save you, not just physically but mentally too. What they're obsessed with is being popular, getting money, their public image, it's so stupid!

Anyway I'm Kaiya Furuya a quirkless fourteen year old girl, who lives in the quirkless sector of Japan, if you could even call it a sector of a city. We keep it as nice as possible but the vibe seems to scream, "Danger!" but not to me, it feels like home.

The crisp autumn breeze whips through my long, black hair, the littles probably have the top open, hope they know to close it when night falls. Right now I'm going to be fixing a window in change for once piece of flat bread, just four and water mixed together and cooked on a flat surface near or over the fire, reminds me of a biscuit.

"Thank you so much for fixing the window Kaiya, I hope I have enough pieces for you to fix it,"

"I should be able to fix it Miss Suzuki, give me an hour." I give her a smile, I would fix an unstable wall if it ment I had food to give the littles.

She directs me to the broken window, the window overlooks the path out of our sector, broken glass littered the floor, a rock with a paper were also there.

I slipped the note and rock into my bag, which I worked my but off for, I pulled the little blowtorch out of my bag. It's a small handheld one that runs on already used train oil. What, it's better than just letting the oil go to waste.

For the next hour I put the window back together piece by piece and welded it together. Then I took some broken nails and the rock from earlier and a piece of cloth, and hammered the cloth over the window so it's not as cold at night while the window is cooling down.

I head to the tiny table, "Miss Suzuki, your window is fixed. I'll check in tomorrow to make sure it's done and grab my cloth."

She hands me a flat bread, " Kaiya you see a life saver! Without you we might've gotten sick, "

She is right, getting sick it's really bad because we don't have a "real" doctors office. Yeah, you see aren't treated like people. Dogs had more rights than us, they have laws where you can't hurt them, there isn't a law about hurting us. Here I'll make a list, we can't have money and if we earn some they think we stole it ( which is stupid we aren't aloud to buy anything with it, it has no value, it doesn't help you survive), no doctors offices, schools, lawyers, stores, no electricity, no steady water supply, no plumbing yeah you heard me we use out houses, most of us don't have real homes. Like me, I live in an empty dumpster which I fixed up and it now has a lock from the inside.

"Bye, thank you again Miss Suzuki. Ask around if you need more help."

She nods and I run out and tear through the streets, the warm bread in my hands keeping me from just falling asleep right there, but I need one more thing before I head home.

I slip into the one grass fields, which are now an assortment of large tubs and buckets to collect water.

"Riki! Don't leave yet, I'm here!"

" Kaiya you're late, I should've just left, " Riki said, referring to the fact that you could barely see your hand I front of your face.

Riki is one month older than me exactly, it's annoying, he has pale pink hair and ruby red eyes, and he is always smiling. He never wanted to be a hero, he wanted to be in charge of the biggest corporation in the world, now he can never even have a job, instead he is in charge of the water, how much everyone gets, and the bathing situation.X

"I'm sorry ok, I had a late job," I say rubbing the back of my neck.

"Two cups please," I grab two cups out of my bag.

He nods, " Sure thing buttercup, "

"You suck," I say while grabbing the cups and trying not to spoil them I turn around.

"Nah, I know you love me!" He shouts over my shoulder, I barely hear it , I'm trying so hard not to spill one bit.

I made my way home.

Chapter 2 out soon!
