Prologue: It's a Circle, It's a Hoop that never ends
Rebirth is part of the continuous process of change ~unknown
It's funny how no matter how many times you live life, it always seems to send curve balls straight at you. Changing your perceptions and expectations of both yourself and those around you. This is my story of my last cycle of change.
In my first life I was an insignificant person killed during the second World War, not even out of primary school. It was during the London Blitz. You could say with complete honest that I was a no one who amounted to nothing, certainly I had no reason to expect a change of rebirth, let alone remember my first life. But this is not that story.
In my second life, I lived longer that time. I finished high school and university becoming a high school teacher. I like to think that while I may not have left my mark on the world I did leave a mark on all my students, influencing them to strive higher and pursue their goals with all their might. For a while I was content, however that life was cut short as well, it ended abruptly in a car crash shortly after the age of 25. It was after this second life that I met Death. (Turns out those Deathly Hallows were real! Who knew?)
Death explained why I was stuck in the cycle of rebirth, "Each soul is meant to find happiness, genuine happiness. Not to just be content, but to feel the absolute joy, peace and freedom associated with happiness. Your soul has yet to achieve this, until you do, you will continue in the cycle of rebirth. However, it is said that the third time's the charm."
So here I am 17, almost 18 years into my third life. Things are different this time round. The most significant being that English is not the dominant language, but rather Japanese. It was definitely a challenging thing learning that language this time round, but it has meant that I can pass English class with ease. Another thing is that I haven't really hid my previous knowledge this time round. I'm smart, I've been through university, so sue me if I skip ahead in my classes. Because of that once I was finished my first year of high school, I switched to correspondence learning. That means I have finished my high school curriculum, which leaves allowed me to jump start into becoming a teacher again. I know cliche considering I was already a teacher once before, but I found such joy and contentment, I decided to make that my goal again.
But let me describe where I live this time. I am in Japan, specifically the Miyagi Prefecture and Torono Town. When I was in school I went to Karasuno High, I was a manager for the boys volleyball club. It wasn't really my choice to go to Karasuno, but my brother convinced me because the girl's uniform was "super cute." It was also because of my brother that I became the manager of the boys volleyball club, he is a volleyball fanatic. Nii-chan plays for Karasuno now, he's the libero.
My name is Nishinoya Reina and my brother is Nishinoya Yū, Karasuno's Guardian Deity. This is my story...well to be truthful...this is my third story.
AN: Disclaimer: I do not own Haikyuu or Harry Potter, this is simply for enjoyment.
After re-reading Trial By Fire and re-watching Haikyuu during this whole Covid-19 lockdown I decided to start writing again. No guarantees about updates or if I will finish or even the quality of the story. It is honestly something just to pass the time and not go stir crazy.
Mar 25-I decided to take out the magic aspect, just gonna focus on one story line for now.
