hey hey, so recently I've been getting back into the mojo for FNaF, and yes, that does include reading the fanfics, so I figured I'd try my hand at another one, a separate universe from my previously established universe (Ignited Love-Rising Darkness), and kinda starting with a clean slate, I've come a long way from when I began writing, so it'll definitely be better, also, there's a chance that I might rewrite the original trilogy of FNaF books, so stay tuned, this story will probably be a three-shot, so be ready, with that out of the way, enjoy!
Part 1: transgressions
Freddy FazBear's Pizza, no one had heard of that name in years, how could they? The restaurant had been closed for years, 30 to be exact, for SpringTrap, he knew it to be precisely that time, but he shouldn't be here, he was here by accident, a misunderstanding. The Spring-Lock suit he was trapped in had finally begun to rot with it's green color, his flesh had decayed from years of being trapped, all that truly remained were his organs, that had merged with the metal inside. his raspy breath continued at an even pace as he stared at the wall, the safe-room he had been trapped in. SpringTrap had decayed, the robots had decayed...yes, the robots, they still remained outside, in pieces, upon that realization, he tried to recap all the robots: a Bear, a Bunny, a Chicken, and...a Fox, yes, he remembered the fox the most. There were other robots two, plastic ones, and a white fox, Foxy, and...Mangle, those names caused him to jolt upward for the first time in 30 years (not really), and walked to the wall that barricaded the safe room, and felt the wall. It was made of what seemed to be wooden boards, he noticed an ax, something that "the man" had used, and grabbed it.
"you can't keep me here anymore..." he whispered as he knocked down the boards with the ax, breaking through the wall and walked through the opening, he looked around, the Pizzeria was in terrible shape, as he walked forward, he saw the four animatronics in pieces, he saw how they were all missing parts, too many to be fixed, except for Foxy...he could fix Foxy.
"I can prove my innocence." SpringTrap walked towards the fox, but then saw something out of the corner of his eye, he saw the white fox he remembered, Mangle. He saw her mess of parts, then turned back to Foxy, and dragged his deactivated body to the backstage room. As he plopped his body on the table, he looked around for tools, and found a box of tools, he placed it on the workbench, and prepared to fix him, first reattaching his left leg and right arm to his torso. After managing to scrounge up a replacement hook, SpringTrap went deeper and started repairing Foxy's servos, tuning his leg motors, oiling his motors so they could move easily, and fixed the patches and holes that were present in his costume. Finally, SpringTrap placed Foxy's head on his body, and opened up a panel in the back of his head, flipped a switch, and closed the panel, watching as Foxy burst to life with a scream.
"what in the!? Where am I? How did I get here? and who are ye?" Foxy turned to face SpringTrap, who kept a plain expression on his face, and walked out of the backstage, leaving Foxy curious, and so he followed, when he looked outside, he saw SpringTrap taking apart Mangle.
"aye, what ya be doing to the lass?" He asked as SpringTrap didn't look at him, he knew the relationship Foxy and Mangle shared, he intended to preserve it. As he removed all the damaged parts from her body, he found a box of parts and saw costume parts for Mangle, he pulled the box to him and began working. first managing to reattach her legs and arms, and clasped the outer costume shell pieces around her upper and lower arms, he would occasionally look at Foxy as the confused pirate was fearful of what SpringTrap was doing to her. He moved on the legs, and manged to repair them, then he placed Mangle's torso piece onto her endoskeleton chest, then shifted her body forward so he could put her back piece on, and screwed them into place. Finally, SpringTrap set up Mangle onto her feet as he placed her costume head on, and flipped her activation panel, and stepped back, and she immediately screamed.
"What!? Who!? Where!?" Mangle was at a loss for words, but when she rested her eyes on Foxy, everything else seemed to fade away for her, the two almost instantly ran at each other, and hugged each other tightly.
"Oh Foxy, I was so scared, everything was just dark and lifeless." Mangle cried into Foxy's chest.
"It's okay lass, we're alive, and that's all that matters, my dear..." he replied as they stared into each others eyes, and shared a heartfelt kiss. It lasted for about a minute until they pulled away and saw SpringTrap staring at them, beckoning for them to follow him, and so they did...
"Who are you?" Mangle asked as they all sat around a campfire of sorts, SpringTrap managed to keep it from burning down the building.
"that depends on your view of things..." the rabbit answered, being purposefully cryptic.
"Aye, we deserve an answer ya know, ye come out of nowhere, reviving us with no explanation, and act like it be a normal day for ya" Foxy explained as SpringTrap sighed.
"Fine...I used to be a man named Micheal, every day as a child I came to this pizzeria, my favorite place in the whole world, all four of you: Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, and you, Foxy, you were my childhood, however you were always my favorite" SpringTrap pointed at Foxy.
"So when I was old enough I got the job to work here from 12 to 6, back in 1985, but then the place was shut down due to a mysterious murder involving children and a man named Afton, you were the murdered kids." SpringTrap recalled the tale like it was yesterday, and kept going. "Things stayed quiet until 1987, a new pizzeria opened, with new robots, so I naturally applied for the role of NightGuard, though I didn't want to seem suspicious, so I used the alias of Jeremy FritzGerald to get in. I decided to take on the job so I could watch you, not the new plastic ones. Then something miraculous happened, you were moving, talking, fighting, you were alive. You and the Toys, I didn't know what to think, then I saw fights happening between you and the Toys, I found it best not to intervene. The moment when I made my decision on whether to report my findings to the manager came when I-" SpringTrap was cut off by a serious fit of coughing, Foxy and Mangle both looked concerned, and they didn't feel any less worried when he coughed up some blood.
"it's fine, I've been in this suit for years, it's normal, now, where was I?" SpringTrap recalled the moment he was about to speak of. "Ah yes, I was originally going to tell the manager about your behavior, until I saw you two..." his statement surprised the two foxes.
"us?" Mangle replied as SpringTrap nodded. "I saw you, so full of passion and love for each other, it made me convinced that the animatronics could feel love and were just like us, so I kept quiet..." SpringTrap stayed quiet for a bit before proceeding.
"Years later, in 1993, the Toys had been presumably scrapped, and I went back to being Micheal and worked as the night shift guard here yet again, watching the four of you interact, it was still so fascinating...until that man, Afton, your killer, returned...he picked you off one by one, and fled. By the time I had found your broken bodies, it was too late, he vanished, but then...the Spirits that possessed you appeared. In an honest mistake, you all thought that I was Afton, and chased me into a safe room, in a panic, I slipped into this suit, but it was yet another mistake, as the Spring-Locks inside snapped shut, and I was forever trapped inside, and I took the name of SpringTrap. For 30 years I was stuck in that safe room, until I was stirred by the memories of you, and that brings us to today" SpringTrap finally finished as Foxy and Mangle looked at one another.
"so why us? Why didn't ya fix me friends if you liked them so much?" Foxy asked rather coldly as SpringTrap sighed, causing Mangle to glare at Foxy.
"He fixed us, show some respect!" She scolded him.
"no no, he deserves an explanation" SpringTrap replied. "The simple answer is their too badly damaged, I can't find the required parts to fix the rest of them, hell, I was lucky you were in as good condition as you were, and it was a miracle that I could even fix Mangle, maybe we'll find the parts, but right now...your the only two Animatronics alive in this place, I'm sorry..." SpringTrap sounded like he had failed miserably and stood up, ready to walk away, when Foxy stopped him.
"aye, I'm sorry, I was a little upset, if it's alright with ya, I'd like to make up for that" he told SpringTrap as he nodded and tried to smile.
"thank you I-" SpringTrap had another huge fit of coughing before finishing. "-Appreciate it" he said to Foxy before walking off to explore the rest of the building, leaving Foxy and Mangle alone. almost instantly the first thing they did was hug and kiss one another again.
"I've missed ya, lass" Foxy whispered to her as they held each other in an embrace.
"Foxy, everything felt so dark, last time we saw each other was 1987, but it feels like a split second, I was so scared I'd never see you again" Mangle cried into his chest as Foxy kissed her on the forehead.
"I promise ya that I'll never let anything happen to ya, my dear, I swear it on me remaining hand" Foxy responded as they kissed again. Meanwhile, SpringTrap was exploring the rest of the building, having peered inside the security office he used to work in, as if by some weird sorcery, the desk fan still worked. Stepping inside the office, he found that everything had barely stayed the same as when he was last there 30 years ago. The only difference was the dust that had settled on everything, SpringTrap wiped off the dust covering one of the monitors.
"The Memories" he breathed in rigidly and exhaled as he glanced around, even after all these years, it was the one room with light inside of it, his attention was then directed to a small security tablet. Recognizing it as the camera monitor he used all those years ago, he walked over to it at a slow pace.
"let's see if this still works..." SpringTrap activated the device, while dusty, it seemed to function well enough where he could see, the first camera that activated was the main stage, on there he saw both Foxy and Mangle embracing while laying against the wall. As SpringTrap swiped through the different cameras, he noticed a new one had opened up, curious,he swapped to that camera, and hit the monitor when it glitched, as soon as it started working, SpringTrap was shocked, there, down in the basement, was a box of parts...for the other animatronics, he could fix them.
