"Uncle Qrow, can I ask you something?" a girl in a rood hood asked the old man, revealing the identity of 'Qrow' as the two sits on top of a cliff overviewing the forest
"Sure kiddo, what is it?" 'Qrow' asked the hooded girl and putting his canteen away
"What was my mom like?"
"Your mom eh..." he paused as he recollects his times with her "Well your mother, Summer Rose, was a pretty lady" jabbing the girl
"Really?" unamused with his joke
"Well, she was actually pretty, hell she might be the most beautiful girl in the entire Academy... And she's always have that smile, a smile like that holds a bridge for Team STRQ..." he paused when he mentioned STRQ
"What do you mean by that?" confused on the bridge part
"Well, when my team was formed... Raven was pretty much distance, Tai was friendly but he's pretty much an idiot, me..." tilting his head left and right "... me honestly,"
"Yeah... besides the drink of course" she added
"Heh, yeah... but Summer... your mother, has this calm atmosphere and a personality where you could easily become her friend... Looking back it now, I could laugh at how easily we became friends... like a bridge where she hold all our problem and become... Happy" he smile a bit allowing the girl to listen deeply on what he's saying "But back at that smile... it's a truly beautiful smile and a fearful one at best"
"Her smile can be scary?"
"Yeah, her smile can truly be scary... one time me, Tai, and my sister - Raven - decided to prank your mother - Summer - by messing up with her weapon... The White Rosen Blade... and her reaction to the prank was pretty much like looking at your most fearful thing in your entire life from now" shivering at the thought of her reaction toward the prank "Oh and if you ask your father about this prank, I bet he just denied it ever existing"
"Why?"
"Because she broke his hand" and they both laughed for a while till Qrow stopped laughing "But if you want to know how she manage to break his hand... let's just say she's naturally strong..."
"By naturally, do you mean like Yang's training?"
"Not exactly... she was just that strong and I clearly remember her breaking a wall or two with a punch..." taking out his canteen to continue drinking for a little before continuing "She was just naturally strong like she was born like that... or something..."
"If she's that strong, then why she would have a weapon like the White Rosen Blade?" girl asked him
"Well... she's pretty much a weapon-freak like you kiddo," this caused her to gasped in excitement "and she's really good... and I mean REALLY GOOD, to the point that she can easily use other weapons like she already used it before, but she rather use her Rosen blade than other weapons... and before you asked that, she herself told me that when we were in Beacon together" he answer her question before she even get to open her mouth and things got silent...
"But things went south when your mother... Summer... didn't return from her mission..." pausing for a moment "And the only time I ever saw her back is when Raven... Yang's mother and my sister... was carrying her..." silence erupted in between them "I truly never seen my sister so... Sad... like something been taken from her that was precious to her... and the rest was history..."
"Um... Uncle Qrow, what was her mission that made her not returning back?" the girl asked showing her nervousness
"Let's just say that is was a top secret mission..." Qrow vaguely answered as he get's up from the ground "Welp, we should head back Kid" he told her looking at the forest
"Yeah... I guess I should head back before they worry about me" she laughed a little
"Yeah... You should" and the two left returning to somewhere, presuming this "Academy" or "Beacon"
? POV
I suddenly open my eyes and gasped for air like I haven't breath for a long time, I stare at a blue sky and looking at my surrounding it appear that I'm near a forest and at a cliff side
"What happened to me? And what's with this white cloak?" I asked my self in grunt as I attempted to pick myself up from the ground, albeit with difficulty due to my arms feeling weak and my legs feel like it doesn't want to stand at all, but with a little bit of effort I managed to stand shaking out my arms and legs to move my muscles a bit.
"What's this?" noticing a blade like weapon who has carving like roses on the bottom part of the blade, examining the weapon it appears that it appears that it looks extremely heavy but once I picked it up it feels light, like I've already used the weapon...
"Well, I should get going now..." I told myself and as I walk out into the forest I suddenly tripped over something hitting my face to the ground
"Owowowowowow!" I yelled as I roll around "What the actual-" stopping myself as I realized I tripped over a grave
Summer Rose
Thus I kindly Scatter
That what it said... Summer Rose... for some reason I feel like I now this name but I can't...
"Rose..." I quietly spoke as I look at the grave
"I should leave now..." reminding myself on what I'm actually supposed to do and left the gravestone and into the forest
-later-
I somehow managed to walk out of the forest like I've known it before like it's in the back of my head and enter a town... or a city or whatever... all I know is that I'm walking around not to sure where I'm really heading. As I was walking around, I head someone yelling at me
"Ruby Rose!" a girl yelled at me causing me to turn facing a white hair girl in a white dress-like outfit
"Are you talking to me?"
"Are you daft or something?" the white hair girl questioned me
"Uhhhh"
"Yes I'm talking to you! You left all of a sudden leaving me behind to gods knows where, and once I found you wearing a riddioculs outfit and changing the color of that hood of yours so that I can't recognize you?" the girl continue to yell at me
"I'm sorry but I think you may have the wrong person" trying my best to calm the girl down
"Oh, and who must you be?"
"I... I do not remember..." I look at the ground and it seems like that it didn't satisfices the girl answer
"You do not remember you're own name?!"
"W-well, all I remember waking up near a cliff where a grave stand naming Summer Rose..." responding to her and as I looked at her I noticed a shocked expression on her face "Um... are you ok?" this cause her to regain her composure
"Y-yes, I'm alright... thank you for asking..." girl replied back "I apologized for the convenes and mistaking you with someone I know"
"It's alright" I smiled at her accepting her apology
"Well, I should be going now..."
"Well, I see you later and I hope that you can find the person you was looking for" I told her as she walks away to a different direction and then I realized something "Wait... should have I asked her name?... Eh I guess it's too late then"
-3rd POV, Weiss-
Weiss continue walking around Vale in search of Ruby who had left her for no reason after they left a café, she thought about what happened earlier when she spoked with the white hooded girl that nearly resembled Ruby, and during the conversation she spoke the name "Summer Rose" and waking up near her grave
"If I can recall... that's Ruby's mother..." she was in deep thought until her scroll rang interrupted her, once grabbing her scroll revealing Ruby who's currently calling her "This dolt..." she answered the call
"I'm truly sorry Weiss!" Ruby quickly apologized before Weiss could say a word "There was something really important I had forgotten and I really couldn't told you due to it being really important and I really had little time and-!"
"Okay, okay! I get it!" I interrupted her "Ruby you still should had told me that you're heading somewhere, and if it was truly that important it would have been accepting that you left, knowing that whatever you were doing was truly that important" Weiss told Ruby
"Really?" she asked confirming her
"Really" Weiss confirmed but before she could say anything, Weiss quickly shut her up and spoke "But anyway Ruby, there's something I should tell you about as I was looking for you?"
"Really? What is it?" confused but wondering what Weiss meant by something she should be informed
"While searching, I saw a girl who had a white hood from top to bottom and I thought you were trying to masked yourself from me" informing Ruby until she heard of a "white hood"
"Wait... Did you said a "white hood"?"
"Yeah... and she also told me she woke up near a cliff and a grave stand that's named "Summer Rose"" and this made Ruby completely silence "Ruby?"
"Weiss... Where did you last saw her?" Ruby questioned her
"Huh, I think I saw her near the Town Center... She's probably around there-" and before Weiss could finished, Ruby hanged up on her "Did... did she hanged up on me?" she was completely shocked that Ruby Rose, of all people, would hang up on Weiss Schnee a heiress of the Schnee Dust Company
? POV
I walked around the city a little more, knowing exactly that I have no idea where I was going, till I walked into a area where building looks completely run-down and people who's clothing where completely different from what I saw from earlier as I explore the city
"Well well well, Red is that you? What are you doing here all the way from that little place of yours, and what's with the white cape are you trying to be some sort of hero or what?" I head a man voice catching me off guard "Jeez Red, where you to engross at your surrounding not even noticing me and Neo here? Shame on you" shaking his head,
The man was wearing a white tuxedo along with a black pants and a fancy looking shoe, I also noticed that he was wearing a hat along with a cigar on his mouth. I then noticed a pink and brown hair girl carrying an umbrella, who I assumed is this "Neo" person
"Cat got your tongue Red?" the man sarcastically spoke leaving me more confused
"Um, I think the wrong person sir..." I informed him as I walked back slowly, then I noticed Neo showed him her device like it's something important releasing an "awww" in realization
"I see now... Well forgive me for calling you Red, but you truly look familiar to the person I quite now... But anyway, I think it's best you come along with us quietly" he said as he reach for his hand
"I'm sorry, but I don't think it's best for me" I answered
"Neo..." and this cause the girl to quickly run towards me attacking me in the process. Once I noticed the attack I suddenly dodge it releasing my sword in the process and realizing what I just done, but before I could continue the girl once again charged right to me and I continue to dodge the attacks along with attack Neo with my sword.
'How can I easily do this? It's like I've done this before multiple of times!' Continue to attack Neo and dodging her attacks, but as I swing my sword at her noticing that she broke into many pieces like breaking glass "W-what?"
I was completely taken off guard and once I turned around noticing her, it was too late to react...
-somewhere in the city as Ruby search for her "Mother"-
"Where is she, where is she?!" Ruby quietly yelled as she quickly moved across the city in search for Summer, her mother "Where is she?!"
When Ruby heard that Weiss saw a woman who looked similar to her who was wearing a white hood and who waked up on her mother grave, their was hope in her that it was her actual mother but their was also a feeling that it was a complete lie... but whatever it is, she must find her before it's too late
"Where the hell is sh-" Ruby was quickly interrupted by noises like their a battle, a noise where steel was cutting something, then it stopped. This cause Ruby to investigate it completely knowing that there's no way something will make that much noise from almost across the city, once arrived at the location she noticed a white hooded person wielding a sword that have carvings and was currently being carried by a man she knew completely
"Roman!" getting the attention of Roman and Neo as she dropped down to ground level
"Ah Red, it you! How's life going?" questioning her with a smile
"Let. Her. Go." she told her with each word increasing her tone as she brought out Crescent Rose, who she was glad that she brought it incase of the worse scenario
"Well now Red, and why should I do that?" and then he got the greatest idea ever, he hold the white hooded woman showing her face to Ruby and putting his hand onto her mouth imitating her like a puppet
"Yeah, why would he do that little Red?" imitating the woman and laughing on what he just did making Ruby completely pissed off on what he just did and charged right to them but as she strikes at him, Neo came right in front of Roman causing both of them to shatter like glass causing Ruby to realized what she just did
"No... No, no, no, NO!" she yelled in the top of her lungs as she angrily walked around
"Ruby!" a familiar voice yelled causing her to stop what she doing at look at the direction the voice came from
"Yang..."
"Ruby! What were you doing, I was completely worried about you?!" Yang scolded her "Weiss called me that you suddenly cut her off and was heading to the city!"
"I'm sorry Yang, but I had a good reason to do it!"
"And what was it then?" putting her hand on her hip
"I saw my mother..." this caused Yang to stay silent for a moment
"She's dead Ruby..."
"But I saw her! I saw her getting carried by Roman... I saw her alive..." tears where coming down from her eyes and Yang decided to hug her
"Are you sure that you saw her?"
"Yes I saw her, I saw her face as Roman imitated her as she was speaking" this caused Yang to flinch a little
"As if she was a puppet?" Yang asked her in confirmation
"As a puppet" Ruby confirmed and this cause Yang to release her sister from the hug
"Well, let's hurry before it get's dark and I will contact both Weiss and Blake about it" taking her scroll out
"Yeah... Let's go find her"
-Meanwhile-
Both Roman and Neo continue to walk towards their main base of operation carrying the white hooded woman,
"So Neo, what do you want to do with her?" Roman asked Neo, who brought up her scroll and showing him her answer
Idk, should we torture her for fun?
"Hm, it would be fun..." pausing for a moment "Buuuuut, then it would get boring..."
Should we chain her and have your men to have their fun with her?
"What, No! Why would I do that?" this cause Neo to frown
Well do you have something better?
"Well, I think we should chain her up and think what we should do with her later" as they continue walking, they both noticed a woman who was wearing a Grimm like mask wielding a Katana causing Neo to tense up a bit and Roman noticed it "Hey Neo, is this the one you mentioned the woman forcing you to retreat?" he asked her and she nodded in confirmation
"And why she knows who to fight and who to not fight" the Grimm masked woman spoke "The girl... Give her to me" she commanded the two
"Alright alright, I'm putting her down now... Happy?" doing what she said
"Put that sword down" she added and Neo quickly dropped the sword to the ground and they both quickly leave... Once the two where out of her sight, she looked at the white hooded woman who looked like she was still sleeping
"Summer... How is this even possible..." she continue looking at her until she noticed something underneath her hood, as she remove the hood on "Summer" head she noticed a pair of ears on top of her head causing her to recoil in shock "I-impossible... There's no way she was ever a Faunus but... she has her face and The White Rosen Blade..." then she stopped for a moment "I should bring you to Qrow…"
-Ozpin Tower-
"So Qrow… You want to spend more time with Ruby?" Ozpin asked him as he took a sip from his coffee
"Yup, is there a problem spending time with my niece?"
"No, no... I just thought that you might head to your favorite bar and drink your sadness away till you drop down to the ground..." this cause Qrow to laugh at Ozpin response
"Well sadly for you, I haven't got to that part... I think..." Qrow who was unsure if he ever gotten drunk to the point that he passed out
"Riiight… Anyway, I guess it would be alright if you spent more time with your-" Ozpin was suddenly cut off when a red portal appeared out of nowhere
"Raven..." Qrow silently spoke in a venom tone as he brought out his weapon ready for Raven to appear
"That's no way to treat your sister, brother..." Raven spoke right as she stepped out from the portal which disappeared right at the process and was carrying someone on her shoulder
"What are you doing here?" Qrow questioned his sister still aiming his weapon towards her
"To show you a special someone I came across to recently" she spoke as she placed the person to the ground revealing the identity to both Qrow and Ozpin
"S-Summer?" Qrow spoke in shock to realized what he was looking at
"But there's more..." She then dropped the hood off of Summer's head revealing to Faunus ears on top of her head "You like what you see?"
"She was supposed to be dead, I saw you carrying her body!" he then looked at Summer "And why is she a Faunus?"
"I only know as much as you do brother, but I only found her when she was being carried by a man named "Roman Torchwick"... Ring any bells?"
"Yeah..." then the room erupted in silent and Ozpin was the one that broke it
"Well, to much as a surprise to see Summer alive and well... and to see that she's somehow a Faunus... I may believe who might have done this to her..." and this cause both Branwen to look right at him
"And who would that might be?" they both spoke in unison
"W-well, I think it might be best if we first get Summer into the infirmary before she wakes up... And I think we might have to contact Team RWBY as well" Ozpin spoke nervously as the Branwen twins continue to stare at him
"And why is would you want to contact them?" Qrow asked him
"Well, we got report that Ruby suddenly left Campus ground along with a few of the property destroyed..." he paused for a moment "I might believe someone informed her about Summer still alive..."
I'll end it here, probably continue on it later and if I would continue I'll need to find a good explanation on why Summer is a Faunus...
