The Hobbit in the GTS Opening Sequence
It was a bizarre day for the denizens of Dale and Erebor. There was a slight feeling in the air as the ravens took flight in fear as they could sense the coming arrival of something big. The people of Dale soon saw it coming up from the lake and started to run deeper into the city as it looked like a giant, wingless dragon. A few braver souls stayed on the wall as it passed by them. A massive reptilian head walked along side the walls over the main gate of Erebor as and old dwarf looked to his right. The eye of the creature looked to him before blinking.
The creature moved to the side of the mountain and quickly began to climb to the peak of the Lonely Mountain. The people watched in both awe and fear as it quickly made its way up. When he reached the top, the giant creature moved to stand on the peak. It looked out to the world around the mountain before giving out a loud roar to let all know that he was called: Godzilla!
A flash of lightning and a young Dwarf Prince named Thorin walked out to the main gate and looked up to the peak. The old dwarf, who was known as Balin, joined him and a few others of the Company of Erebor who looked up to the mountain's peak. The lord of the city of Dale, a man named Bard, stood with his three children as they too gazed up at the mountain's summit. A wizard known to all as Gandalf the Grey joined the dwarves at their spot. From a nearby ridge, King Thranduil and his son Legolas rode forward on a horse and deer respectively. Coming up behind the creature on the summit, a Hobbit by the name of Bilbo Baggins removed the ring from his finger.
Another flash of lightning and Godzilla was trying to fend off a small squadron of Gundabad bats as they swarmed around him. He roared before ducking out of the way of one before grabbing it with his jaws and throwing it down on the ground. Down at his feet, a group of Orcs, goblins and trolls lead by Azog tried to attack him, but he was able to swat the majority of the army away with his tail.
While on the outskirts of Lake Town, Bilbo, Gandalf, Bard and his children, Thranduil and his son, Thorin and his company of dwarves all watched as Godzilla took on Smaug. The dragon came flying in and swatted against the side of a wailing Godzilla's head with his own tail that sent him crashing into a lake. Smaug hovered over the water to see if he had won when Godzilla's hand burst from the water and pulled him under too.
Smaug resurfaced and roared as he flew past the burning Lake Town. When he landed, Thorin and Bilbo jumped out of the way from being crushed underfoot. Godzilla roared as he could see Smaug and an assortment of other monsters coming towards Erebor.
Godzilla gave one final roar before walking behind the Company of Thorin Oakenshield as they all stood heroically.
