During a chance encounter, a tomcat called Rustfur meets a recently abandoned kittypet. After bringing her back to his colony he notices that she and many of his colony-mates begin to fall ill. City Warriorcats AU.

Midcity Colony Cats:

Rustfur: mottled ginger and white tom with yellow eye

Thunder: heavyset gray tomcat

Tuft: scrawny black and white she-cat with a single yellow eye

Blossom: white she-cat with green eyes

Crookedtail: an old black tom with a broken tail and many scars

Smokefur: dark gray tomcat

Tiny: small black she-cat with yellow eyes

Rosie: a gray and white tabby female, once a kittypet

Tallgrass: light brown tom with long legs

Minnow: silver tomcat with blue eyes

Snakepelt: dark tabby tom with amber eyes

Pidge: brown tom with a large belly

Nina: siamese she-cat expecting kits

Toby: large gray and white tabby tom with no front claws

Misfit: scarred black and white tom

Other Animals:

Patch and Brindle: two colossal dogs with a reputation for eating cats who leap their fence
