Author's Note: OK so this is my very first fan-fiction. My writing skills aren't that good to be perfectly honest but I'll put my best effort to deliver quality content. This story draws inspiration from other fan-fiction such as "A Son Forgotten" and "Introverted". To be perfectly clear, THIS IS NOT A NEGLECT FAN-FICTION. Elements of the previously mentioned stories can be found in my narrative but not the "neglected" aspect of the former. Instead I've chosen to go with the premise that Naruto has been transferred to Hoshigakure through divine intervention and is subsequently separated from his family. He grows up never knowing he belongs to the family of the fourth Hokage until the truth is told to him later on in the story. If you read the small amount that I have already written for this story, you can see that I'm not exactly done with how I want the first chapter to go. My approach to creating this story is to start on how I believe it should go and then edit later. I will try to regularly update with new content with the amount of time that I have at my disposal currently. I would very must appreciate it if you could follow this story and leave a review. At the very bottom I will give a list of the main characters that will be found in my story.
"Hmph," Minato thought as he read through his sensei's new novel, "Tales of a Gutsy Ninja,".
"Jiraiya actually managed to write something other than meaningless smut," Minato chuckled to himself as he closed the final page of the novel. He hadn't believed that his perverted mentor was proficient enough of a writer to create something as sincere as the story he had just finished reading.
What Minato found most interesting about the story was that the protagonist held a deep determination to succeed in spite of any obstacles he encountered on his path to success. The main character in question was a young leaf shinobi named "Naruto,".
Minato smiled, reflecting on the aspiration that Naruto possessed in the novel. He, as well as Jiraiya, both believed that one day that the shinobi world would reach a universal peace amongst all five major hidden villages.
"Maybe Jiraiya wrote this story with me in mind," Minato contemplated as he relaxed in his cozy apartment. "He always did presume that I was the one that the great toad sage prophesied to be the savior of the world". Yet, the more I continue on with my life, the less convinced I become that I actually am the child of prophecy."
After the conclusion of the Third Shinobi World War, Minato had ascended to the mantle of the Hokage with the overwhelming support of the village council as well as the former Hokage "Hirzuen Sarutobi,". The only other individual in consideration was the notorious serpentine member of the legendary "Densetsu No Sannin," Orochimaru.
Orochimaru, despite his legendary status as one of the most skilled shinobi that Kohonagakure has ever produced, was never fated to succeed his former sensei as Hokage. Believed to be too obsessed with acquiring power and prestige in the eyes of Hiruzen, Orochimaru would fail in his ambition to become the fourth Hokage.
