"Don't let the Saiyan race die". That was Vegeta's last words to Goku before Freeza's lethal blast shot him dead. For a warrior a part of the most powerful army in the universe being shot dead on a deserted planet in the middle of nowhere is less than an unsatisfying death.
Goku felt goosebumps rattle across his body. The experience of watching someone slaughter another person without a single regret, without a single emotion expressed made Goku grit his teeth with anger and disgust. Usually seeing a powerful frightening opponent would make Goku excited and happy to dash right into battle to test his limits but this time things were different.
"He was always so talkative," said Freeza now grinning at his immoral act. Freeza's cruel murderous eyes shifted from Vegeta's lifeless corpse to Goku whose fists were now clenching with rage.
"What was the point! Why didn't you just knock him out, why did he have to lose his life!" Goku said, trying to calm himself. "Why do you think? He took the lives of several soldiers in my army. He was overconfident and death was the only way he could be disciplined. But mainly he was just annoying". Freeza said still with a wide smirk spread across his face.
Goku walked slowly towards Freeza. Now Goku wanted to fight but not for the usual reason to test his own strength but to fight for survival. Goku cleared his mind. One step forward the sounds of the soft breeze of the air circled around the two mighty warriors as if it was bracing itself for the upcoming battle.
Suddenly they disappeared. Only flashes of light could be seen zipping around the field. And then CLASH! Goku got a clean hit of Freeza knocking him through several mountains. Goku grinning with relief loosened his guard. "Don't get confident," Freeza said, appearing behind Goku sending him down to the ground creating a massive explosion from the thunderous whip of his tail.
As the smoke lifted from the crash. Goku regained his footing trying to process the force he was just hit with. That was just one strike and already the cloth of his orange gi were ripped revealing more of his dark blue undershirt.
Suddenly Freeza's Chaotic energy placed itself right behind Goku. "I won't let you take any more surprise hits on me!" said Goku as he quickly launched a punch towards Freeza. CLASH both Goku and Freeza's fists locked together creating a force that rippled throughout the entire planet.
"You're much better than Vegeta, I'll give you that". said Freeza who was now starting to take a chaotic enjoyment of the fight. "You sure can take a punch but you are nothing compared to me and I think I've seen enough". Freeza's tail swiftly latched onto Goku's arm crushing it with a torturous pressure.
Fed up with wallowing in pain Goku grit his teeth and yelled "KAIOKEN!" The fierce fiery aura circled around Goku. With a jolting SNAP, Goku ripped his arm from Freeza's grasp and then connected a clean hit right on Freeza's jaw.
Ready for his next attack Goku cupped his fists together and went in for the attack. However right before the strike could connect Freeza countered with several stinging blasts right into Goku's chest throwing him right through a nearby cliff.
No matter what attack Goku took or what physical condition he was in for him it didn't matter. Goku dashed up into the sky, clenched his fists together and started to power up. The same fiery aura surrounded Goku once again only this time it was bigger, sharper and deadlier. The sky roared with a red tinted thunder.
"KA ME!" Goku roared building up a massive amount of ki in his fingertips. "HA ME!" The ground below cracked at the sheer force of Goku's power. "THIS IS IT KAIOKEN x20 HAAAAAA!" A burst of light surrounded everything in sight.
Goku launched his kamehameha right at Freeza with all the force he could gather. But it wasn't enough. Freeza pierced right through the beam grabbing Goku by the throat pinning him to the ground below.
"I told you i've seen enough". Freeza said, now irritated at the few scratches on his body. Goku was now barely conscious. His brain could barely process Freeza's attack and his muscles were in immense pain because of the kaioken.
"I'm going to enjoy watching you scream," Freeza said with a chuckle as he began to crush Goku's head into the ground with his foot while blasting him with his hand.
"I didn't think it would end like this. I'm sorry everyone, I guess I couldn't save you this time". Goku said with teary eyes. "I can't give up but I'm too weak to even try" Those were Goku's last words before falling unconscious.
