RE-EDIT

Pandora, a unforgiving planet located out in the Borderlands of the galaxy. A planet known for its many bandit clans and different types of dangerous wildlife. But most importantly, it is known for the alien Vaults located on it. Pandora has seen her fair share of adventurers and treasure hunters searching for the Vaults. She has also seen greedy businessmen and women using their vast resources to find them. But all have failed in one way or another. Except for four Vault Hunters that came to the dangerous world to try their luck at finding it. And it seemed on that day lady luck was on their side.

After killing hundreds of bandits, wildlife, and Atlas' own military force called the Crimson Lance. The four Vault Hunters named Roland, Lilith, Mordecai, and Brick manage to find its location with the help of a digital being known as the Guardian Angel. But before they could get there. What remained of Atlas' army and their very own Siren named Commandant Steele took the key from Tannis and notified Roland and co that they were on their way to the Vault. Fighting their way through Guardians and Atlas troops, the Vault Hunters find Steele and the few soldiers she had with her standing by a damaged stone Vault symbol . The commandant taunted the four warriors and pushed the key into the slot. Causing the damaged Vault door to fix itself. Once opened, everyone expected to find loot inside. But what actually awaited for them within the Vault wasn't treasure or a small arsenal of alien weapons. Instead a godlike alien known as The Destroyer.

After a mighty battle the Vault Hunters managed to defeat the creature and send it back into its prison. Learning The Vault held no treasure, the four left for Old Haven till they can figure out what to do next. After fighting off a mad doctor who totally was not Zed and his legion of zombies, General Knoxx and his branch of the Crimson Lance, and Claptrap's cyborg army. The corporation called Hyperion showed up to Pandora.

Lots of the residences were wary of another major corporation setting up shop. As the last two did some horrible things. However it seemed Hyperion just wanted observe Pandora from their almost completed space station. So the people were able to go about their lives in peace. That is until a man named Handsome Jack became CEO and declared martial law. He sent hundreds of Hyperion Loaders down to the surface of the planet and had them kill thousands of people, innocent and bandit alike.

For the next five years he ruled with an iron fist. His goal to cleanse the planet of all of its bandit clans. During those five years the four Vault Hunters rallied what was left of the Crimson Lance and formed the Crimson Raiders to fight back against Jack and his army.

Even then it was a losing battle, Hyperion had better weapons and tech. What made matters worse was that Jack was luring in new Vault Hunters so he can kill them. Only because he didn't want any of them to find the new Vault on the planet. The last group of VHs he hired comprised of five people.

Axton the Commando: a former soldier from the Dahl military. Highly skilled with guns of all kinds. By his side was his trusted auto-turret. A piece of Dahl-tech that chews through all of the Commando's enemies.

Maya the Siren: one of the rare six Sirens in the whole universe. A very beautiful and deadly woman who used her phaselock powers to lock bad guys in the air and kill them. Maya also knew her way around with a gun. Making her even more deadly.

Zero the Assassin: a mysterious person who's identity is shrouded in secret by his outfit and helmet. The only thing that flat out tells people he isn't Human is the fact he has only four fingers on each hand. Three fingers and a thumb. He uses his stealth tactics and sniper skills to kill his enemies.

Salvador the Gunzerker: a native of Pandora and a man who loves to kill bandits. The usage of steroids at a young age increased his strength to the point he can dual wield almost any gun, no matter how big or small.

And lastly there was Raven. Raven had no title but she was a skilled Vault Hunter like the rest of them. She had two robot animals named after the Greek gods of war, Ares and Athena. With their help the three were able to mow down rows of bad guys.

However they weren't the only Vault Hunters on that adventure to stop Jack. There were two more but they were stowaways as the Hyperion CEO didn't know anything about them at the time.

Gaige the Mechromancer: a young red head who knew a thing or two about robots. She made a death inducing one she named Deathtrap, or DT for short all on her own. Though the young woman was forced into hiding when her robot killed her high school rival.

Lastly there was Krieg the Psycho: now Krieg was not your usual meat loving, random shouting, mad man. He had a bit of self-control and was a bit more higher functioning. But in the end he was still a psycho. Just one that wouldn't turn on his friends.

The seven Vault Hunters traversed the deadly lands with help from the same digital being that helped Roland, Lilith, Mordecai, and Brick find the first Vault. Though this time Angel was helping the new Vault Hunters to stop Handsome Jack from opening the second Vault and awakening The Warrior. There were many challenges on the quest but they were able to overcome them all. Till it was revealed Angel was working for the Hyperion CEO all along.

After surviving a major assault the seven VHs were scattered across the planet. Regrouping later they made their way to the Highlands, again being aided by Angel. Who wanted to make amends for her actions. Truly wanting to stop Jack.

It took lots of planning and connecting with old friends, but they manage to assemble a large task force to attack the control core where the vault key was located. After fighting off a giant flying robot they enter into the core room and to their surprise. Angel revealed herself to be a Siren. But was even more surprising is the fact she was the daughter of Handsome Jack. Fighting off a small hoard of Loaders and destroying the injectors, Angel died in peace. Knowing she stopped her father from awakening The Warrior.

None of them felt the victory, as they watched an innocent girl who just wanted a normal life die. Right away Roland was already giving out orders, wanting to finish off Jack before he could escape. But they didn't need to worry about that. As the man himself appeared behind the former leader of the Crimson Raiders and killed him with a single shot.

Shocking everyone, Lilith was about to attack him in rage but with quick reflexes he slapped a collar onto her neck. Nullifying her Siren powers. Roughly he grabbed the red head and ordered her to kill the Vault Hunters. Trying to fight the control, she instead used her powers to teleport them back to the floating city called Sanctuary.

Gathering intel and loading up on ammo and guns. The Crimson Raiders make one final assault against the CEO. Fighting through an army of soldiers and Loaders. The seven reach the end of Hero's Pass where the Vault was located. And waiting for them was none other than Handsome Jack himself.

He told the group the key's almost charged, but before that can even happen. He was gonna avenge his daughter. The fight with Jack wasn't too hard, but it was really tricky. His tactic was to confuse the Vault Hunters with lots of digi-clones of himself and hide among them. Whenever he was discovered he would run to a console and summon a flying drone to protect him with an orange domed shield. A short battle later the badly bleeding man taunted the seven.

But just then the vault key finished charging. Grabbing the top of it, he pushes it down into the slot. With the Vault containing The Warrior opened, the dragon like monster jumps up and roars to the skies.

The fight against the monster was a lot tougher than either them could have guessed. It basically ate bullets and it had lots of powers to fight back with. Though they were able to find a weak spot and exploit it. Finally the group were able to put the creature down but not kill it. With advice from Lilith they used the console to call in a moonstrike, the round came crashing down onto the head of The Warrior. Effectively killing the monster forever.

When the purple shield surrounding the both Lilith and Handsome Jack vanished, the man started ranting. Saying how he was a hero and how they're bandits and he shouldn't be killed by them. Then he starts saying how The Warrior was a god and calling them stupid for killing the only chance to bring peace to Pandora. After all of his ranting was done. The seven Vault Hunters each pulled a gun and shot him dead.

One of them was about to pull the vault key out but Lilith stopped them, saying she should do it since alien relics are weird. But at that moment Brick and Mordecai come limping towards them. After some friendly banter she was gonna use her Siren powers to destroy the key once and for all. But instead it showed the large group a holographic map of Vaults across the galaxy.

While Lilith and co. were thinking up of a plan to deal with all those new Vaults. The seven Vault Hunters continued to have more adventures. Like finding a pirate's lost legendary treasure, participating in Mr. Torgue's tournament to win a much smaller Vault in the ground by feeding it the blood of the biggest coward, joining Sir Hammerlock to hunt down wild animals only to turn that into killing a mad sciencist before he can clone Jack, and much smaller adventures that felt more like one-shots.

Nothing exciting happened next, except if you want to count when they all watched Helios come crashing down onto the planet. But other than that it was just a matter of getting off world together and finding the Vaults.

However one day Sanctuary was suddenly attacked by an unknown force of highly trained soldiers. Normally the Vault Hunters wouldn't have trouble fighting against such a small army. But all they ever fought were barley organized bandits, predictable Loaders, poorly trained Hyperion soldiers, and wildlife. Plus they've been out of action for such a long time at that point.

So they got their asses kicked and were suddenly teleported off the floating city. The man who led the military force was a person named Hector, a former Dahl military commander. Who was promised a paradise planet but was left for dead. With his deadly bio-weapon he was slowly turning Pandora, its people, and animals into plants.

It was a tough fight but they manage to get back onto the city and fight the man in one last battle. But Hector gave the heroes a hard choice to make. Either kill him and destroy the vault key or spare him and lose both Sanctuary and the key. Finally making a choice, Lilith uses her powers to kill the man. Of course this resulted in her destroying the city.

After giving a speech, the seven Vault Hunters leave Pandora to search for the Vaults. That was seven years ago, by now they most likely moved on from that mission and found new meaning in their lives.
