Link opened his eyes.

"Dang it! Valentine's day!"

Link ran to lock the windows and doors. He pulled the curtains over all of the windows. It was pitiful, really, to watch him curl up under the covers, hoping and praying that they wouldn't come. After hours of hiding, he heard voices at the door. Specifically three.

"No no no no no no nooooooo…" Link thought.

"LIIIIIIIIINK OPEN THE DOOOOOOOOOOR!" he heard Zelda screech.

Link stayed silent, pretending he wasn't home.

"Ugh, I should have run away before they got here. Actually, no, Zelda probably put a tracking device in my hair or something…"

"LiiiiiiiiIIIIIiiiiIIIiNNNnnnNNKKkkkkkk!" he heard Mipha try to yell, but she failed because she's so quiet. Hopefully, they would go away or give up soon.

Link stopped and listened.

"Paya, you're tall, try to look through the window."

"B-b-but that's creepy!"

"Well, it's also creepy that we happened to all show up at the exact same time."

"That's true. But I-I still don't w-want to stare at h-h-him through t-the window…"

"Ugh, fine."

"..."

"Hey Mipha, get on my back and look through the window!"

"Yes, princess."

"Hehehehe…"

Silence.

Even more silence.

"Ahhh!"

Thud.

"Well, that didn't work out."

"What do we do n-now?"

"Should we give up?"

"Oh, I have an idea! I will be back in… a number of minutes."

Link curled up into an even tinier ball if that was even humanly possible. What was she planning?

A few minutes passed and no noise was heard. Maybe they had left.

"Princess, what are you-"

"HIYAAAA!"

CRASH!

Zelda stood there proudly with an axe in her hands.

"I see a lump in his covers!"

"Oh shoot oh shoot oh shoot oh shoot."

He heard footsteps coming up the stairs.

"NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO!"

Zelda ripped the covers off. Link hopped up and made a dash for the exit. He dashed through where the door used to be, and ran to Epona and hopped on.

...It's been seven years since that day…

...No one has seen Sir Link since.

There are many rumors regarding where the hero went. Some say he went to live in another kingdom. Others say he went to spend his life on a not too distant island.

But only Hylia knows where that boi ran off to.
