Rain poured down at midnight, what worse could happen. Kate awoke to Humphrey not in the den with her. She immediately felt uneasy. Thoughts rushed through Kate's mind:Humphrey would be in the den at night, usually. Unless he took advantage of me being asleep to cheat on Me?! No he wouldn't. I'm the love of his life. I'll go search for him. He would be in the den now. Kate walked out of the den. Kate ventured further out into the forest. All she could see was darkness ahead and nothing more. Kate came across Lilly and Garth's den. "Lilly!" Kate yelled. "Garth!" She yelled out again. No answer. Her worry of where Humphrey could be made her not care about the rain. Kate heard a familiar voice scream out. It sounded like... HUMPHREY! Kate ran towards the direction of the noise. "HELP!" She heard more clearly. Kate's heart started to beat faster and she sweated heavily. The voice she heard was definitely Humphrey. She looked in the distance and saw nothing. Where was Humphrey?
