Remus had a paper heart, as Lily liked to call it. If you lit a fire under it, it would go up in flames, but burn out too soon. Lily, although kind and generous, was often a know-it-all, regardless of whether she was right or not. The redhead was usually right though, Remus did, in fact, have a paper heart, metaphorically of course.
He usually ignored people and their abnormally rude habits, but there was always one person who could irk him like he couldn't believe. Sirius Orion Black. The mischievous marauder always knew what to do to make Remus pay attention to him. It, of course, annoyed the werewolf, Remus, to no end.
"Why can't he just leave me read for once?" Remus thought as he followed the black haired marauder close behind. "What are we doing, Pads?" the amber eyed boy asked with a grimace.
"We are going to prank Prongsie!" Sirius exclaimed, his silver eyes glimmering with delight. "What else would we be doing this fine night, my dearest Moony?" The wavy, black haired boy chuckled with a smirk like no other.
"I don't know, Pads. Studying maybe? You do recall that we have exams next week, right?" Remus crosses his arms as he spoke.
Sirius turned towards the tawny haired boy and grabbed him by the wrist, wrenching it from Remus's crossed arms. The silver eyed teen dragged Remus from his place in the hall as the tawny haired boy attempted to keep up. "C'mon! Prongs shouldn't be that far ahead, but you never know. I left the Marauders Map up in our room."
Remus sighed, knowing that he'd never win, as he kept running to stop the slight pain in his wrist. "Would you let go now, Sirius? My wrist hurts from being dragged by you. I realize that this is a priority to you, but my priority right now is to not get in trouble. We are out past curfew."
"Yeah, sorry," Sirius replied, not really paying attention as he let go of Remus's hand. "I'm sure we're nearly caught up with James. This gonna be-"
And that's all the black haired boy was able to say, before he ran into Filch.
