The trees were barren. The wind blew with no mercy. It had to be below freezing by now, yet I didn't feel a thing. Rubbing my arm trying to create heat, I could barely feel my hand. It were as if my nerves were no longer facilitated to process anymore.

Only my hearing and sense of smell were still active out of all my senses, my eyes no longer existing due to rotting and being eaten away by maggots. Unusual, but no pain. My skin upon my face slowly shedding away as if it were wax melting. Extending to appear as a skull of a deer. Antlers growing up to 2 feet. Grey fur covering my already harden leathery skin. Long, sharp nails growing from my finger tips. Strong enough to cut flesh and carve it easily. My feet hardening and molding into hooves. I resembled a deer in the position of a man.

"Wir haben nichts gesehen. Lass uns zurück gehen. Ich friere meinen Arsch hier ab!" We haven't seen anything. Let's go back. I'm freezing my ass off here!

I listened closely. The voices were at least 300 meters away! Listening, I repeated what they said, mimicking it. Making my raspy voice to sound like their own. Running at a supernatural speed I ran to where they were walking slowing down to avoid being seen.

"Andreas, komm her. Ich glaube ich habe etwas gefunden!" Andreas, come here. I think I found something! I repeated it over and over to get my voice to sound exactly like Friedrich. I waited till Friedrich to wander much farther away from Andreas to step into the bear trap he so cleverly placed a day before. The fool forgot where he placed it. I do enjoy a little chase but I wasn't in the mood to chase two men. They were full of fat and seemed tender to feast on. I didn't want to waste time. Either one could get away! I haven't ate in at least a year! I couldn't help but drool over myself. My stomach growled in agony.

I was starving! I needed to eat! I can't let either of them get away. They would last me for a little while. I wonder? A month for Friedrich, at least 2 months for Andreas. Almost 3 months. Good, but not good enough. Then came the scream. Looks like Friedrich found his trap. If I had lips or were able to move my mouth, a smirk would be present.
