Chapter 1:

Huge

I was exhausted. Colonel Bastard kept me at work until one in the morning. And he made me do his fucking paperwork so Riza wouldn't shoot a round of bullets into his skull. I kinda wish she would at this point. I mean, if she did, I wouldn't have to sign someone else's name on official documents for sixteen hours straight.

I stretched by back as I continued to walk down the street to the dorms. Maybe I'll kill him myself next time I see him... My automail hand twitching as I clapped my hands idoly at the thought. By now I had a smile on my face as I imagined ways to kill him, each thought more painful than the last, until I made it to the dorms.

"Hey brother!" Al exclaimed once he saw me. "Somebody seems rather happy!"

"Oh, I was just imagining ways to kill Colonel Bastard on the way home from the office. It made me happy to think about causing him pain!" I responded. "Now I'm tired, so I'm off to bed."

I ran to my bedroom and threw myself onto the bed, instantly asleep.

The first thing I noticed the next morning was that my automail was huge. It was laying beside me disconnected, and it was taller than I was.

"WHAT THE FUCK?!" I screamed as I sat up and looked at the enlarged world around me. The world had grown! It was all huge! I stood up and started crawling to find Al, but the bed grew so much that it took a whole five minutes to reach the foot of the bed, without my automail.

When Al came running, I noticed that he had grown too. Maybe he grew because he is armor! Yeah! That's it! I thought frantically.

"HOLY SHIT! ED SHRUNK SMALLER THAN HE WAS BEFORE!" The armor screeched, clearly terrified as he picked up his little big brother.

That was the first time I had ever heard Al swear. "ALPHONSE LANGUAGE!" I yelled at him. What I didn't realize was that my voice was higher and quieter than before to those around me. And what they didn't know was that their voices were slightly lower and louder than before to me.

"We need to go find Winry! You need new tiny automail! That will be so cute..." Al was talking more to himself than to me. He was subconsciously squeezing his hands into fists, squishing me.

"Al!! Stop!! That hurrts!!" I screamed to the giant armor, high above me.

He instantly released me, saying sorry. But I started falling. Thank Truth that Al caught me before I hit the ground.

"Now let's see how tall you are exactly..." he said, grabbing the meter stick. The freaking stick grew too?! That won't help anything. I thought as an idea popped into my head.

I drew a circle on the ground and transmuted a meter stick that was the correct size and held it out to him. "This should work correctly." I told him.

Al just looked at me and started giggling. "Sooo cuteee!" He said staring at me. Damn! I thought, only now realizing that I was still wearing tiny bunny pajamas from when I woke up. I just sat there and blushed at the realization, not realizing that it made me even cuter, making Al worse.

He picked me up and started running towards the door to our dorm room, slamming it open, and running outside. I knew where he was going instantly, my face going even redder. "AL STOP!! WE CANNOT GO THERE!! THEY'LL MAKE FUN OF ME!" I screamed to him.

But sadly, he couldn't hear me over the clanking of his feet. Or at least he pretended not to. I stared out at the world around me. Everything and everyone had grown much, much bigger overnight.

I hate this. I fucking hate this. Why do I have to be the only normal sized person in this world of giants! I can't even run from them without my automail! This fucking sucks! I thought to myself.

When Al finally slowed down in front of the Bastard's outer office, I tried to hide in his hands. But of course when he opened the door, everyone stared at the tiny speck of blond hair sticking out of his hand.

I felt myself blush harder as I peeked out at the office from Al's hands. When they saw my golden orbs peep at them and disappear again instantly, they all gasped.

"Come on brother, say hi!" Al whispered encouragingly.

I stood up in his hands, leaning against his finger so I wouldn't fall over, as I didn't have two of my limbs. "Uh...Hi everyone." I said shyly, looking away.

Everyone took in my small bunny pj's, and my flushed embarrassed face and said one thin in unison, "Awwwww so cuuuuteee!"

I already knew that today was going to suck.
