Beginning
"My name is Peter Parker, for the last three years I've been the one and only Spider-Man. Everyone heard such things about me, how I swing around saving lives and taking down criminals. But there is more to my story than what you think, I've been called the Amazing, the Spectacular, and the Friendly Neighborhood, but that not how I started. I am the Avenging Spider-Man and this is my story." Peter narrates.
On the streets of New York City, an armored car drive through the city in the middle of the night, two security guards talk, two more are in the back guarding the money.
"Do you think that driving in the middle of the night with all this money is worth the risk?"
'Hey, the sooner we get this to the bank, the sooner we can go home."
"Well, you can go home. I plan to stay out all night, getting a drink and possibly get lucky."
"Have you gotten lucky yet?"
"No."
"What are your chances of finding a woman who is into you?"
"You say I can't get anyone to go out with me?"
"Well, you haven't yet."
"Thanks for you opinion, pal."
The driver smiled until he sees an obstacle in their way. There is a sign that said the street is closed with orange cones and some guys in orange vests, the armored car stopped.
"What is this? There was no mention of a closed street on the route plan. Wait here."
The driver got out and went to check out.
"Hey! What's going here, no one told us about this."
Two guys in orange vest pulls out their guns and aims it at the driver.
"Put you hands in the air."
The driver put his hands up and surrender, a van came up from behind as three men got out with automatic rifles.. The passenger sees that its an ambush.
"Guys, we've been ambushed! Call this in!"
The two guards in the back called for backup.
Somewhere on the top of a building, a man dressed in a red and blue suit watches over the city as he got a message from a police scanner app on his phone.
"All unit, there is a robbery in progress, an armored car has been ambushed. Converge on this location."
He got the location on his phone. He jumps off and shoots out a web, he swings to the location.
The two thugs got the driver held hostage.
"You! Get out of the truck!"
He got out and has his hands up, he and the driver are both hostages. Three thugs got behind the armored car.
"We have your friends out here with us! You don't want them to die, open the door and get out with your hands!"
The two guards opened the back door and got out with their hands up, they joined up with their friends. Two thugs got their guns aimed at the hostages, as the rest of the thugs got in the back and seized the money. Spider-Man arrived and sees two thugs holding hostages, he'll need to free them first quietly. He webs up a camera to the wall to get an angle of the fight.
"Oh! Payday!"
Two thugs outside got webbed up and hanging from the light pole. Spider-Man freed the hostages and got them to get out quietly as the three thugs are collecting the money inside the armored car.
"Take as many as you can carry and lets get out of here."
"Whats the problems? Cops are still minutes away, we've got time to take all the money."
"I'm not worried about the cops, I just wanted to get the money and get out before he shows up."
"Oh, right."
They finished collecting the money, the three went outside carrying duffle bags to find the their two friends and the hostages are missing.
"Hey, where is everyone?"
Spider-Man jump on top of the armored car.
"UH, your friends are a bit tied up and are waiting for you guys to join them." Peter said.
The three thugs shoots at Spider-Man, he dodge the bullets and webs up the guns, he yanks them off their hands. One of the thugs charges in with a punch but Spider-Man dodge it and does and back kick. The other throws a fury of punches, Spider-Man blocks every punch until he grapples and takes him out with a punch. Two thugs got taken out, leaving one still standing, he realized that he couldn't beat Spider-Man. He runs away until Spider-Man shoots out a web and got him.
"Goodnight!" Peter said as he yanked the web and punched the thug, knocking him out.
Later the three thugs are hanging upside down on a light pole with the other two Spidey took out early.
"Well got to fly, or swing. Don't worry, the cops will come her and take care you. Bye." Peter said as he swings away.
The guards see Spidey swing away.
"Thanks a lot, Spidey!"
He got the camera that took the shots of the fight, he swings away.
"Got to save the hostages, take out some thugs, and got it all on camera. This night turned out perfect, what can go wrong?" Peter said.
Peter Parker is a 18 year old college student attending Empire State University with a height of 5' 10" with brown hair and brown eyes. He is sleepy during a class taught by Dr. Curtis Connors who is one of the world top geneticists and specializes in herpetology, meaning reptile or creeping animal, he is missing a limb, his right arm.
"Mr. Parker? Mr. Parker?" Dr. Connors said.
"Huh?" Peter said as he woke up.
"I'm I boring you. Mr. Parker." Dr. Connors ask.
"Oh,... no. Sorry I was working last night." Peter said.
"As much as I respect that you have a job, Mr. Parker, it's important to stay focused on your studies. Do you understand?" Dr. Connors said.
"Yes, Dr. Connors." Peter said.
The bell rang as class ends.
"Okay, that'll be it for today, be sure to study tonight." Dr. Connors said as the students walk out. "Mr. Parker, a moment please."
Peter stayed behind as everyone else left the classroom.
"Is something wrong, Dr. Connors?" Peter said.
"No, actually I need to talk to you about an intern that's going to be working with us." Dr. Connors said.
"An intern?" Peter said.
"She'll be coming to the lab soon, so get some coffee and meet us at the lab later." Dr. Connors said.
"I'll be there." Peter said.
Peter walked out of the Coffee Bean with Harry Osborn, his best friend and roommate.
"You slept through class again? What have you been doing all night?" Harry said.
"It's called work, not everyone is as wealthy as you, Richie Rich." Peter said.
"Cute, If you're doing this to pay rent, then don't worry about it, it's my apartment." Harry said.
"It not about paying rent, I need to help out Aunt May since she started working at that homeless shelter, doesn't pay much so I got to pitch in." Peter said.
"Your aunt is quite a saint." Harry said.
"Something we can agree on." Mary Jane said.
They turn around to see Mary Jane Watson, their friend and Peter's ex-girlfriend. She is a beautiful female standing at 5' 8" with red hair and green eyes, shes got little traces of freckles on her skin, she has quite a lovely figure fitting for a model that neither Peter or Harry can take their eyes off, then again she attracted the attention of a lot of guys.
"MJ." Harry said.
"Harry." Mary Jane said.
She turns her attention towards her ex-boyfriend Peter who froze as he sees her.
"Tiger?" Mary Jane said.
"Peter?" Harry said.
"Huh? Oh, Hi MJ." Peter said.
"You alright, you look like you froze when you saw MJ." Harry said.
"Hey, I never freeze." Peter said.
"Okay, if you say so." Harry said.
"So you two gotten out of class?" Mary Jane said.
"Yeah, Peter here had is his eyes close during class, he-" Harry said.
"Was working, I know. I heard before, many times." Mary Jane said.
"Yeah." Peter said.
"You know, Tiger, you should make time for some people in your lives instead of working all the time." Mary Jane said.
"It's not that I don't want to work, I have-"
"Responsibilities, I heard that too. I just worry you don't allow yourself to have fun with the people you love." Mary Jane said.
"Are you saying this as my friend or my ex?" Peter said.
"Both, Tiger. I still care for you, Peter, Don't forget that." Mary Jane said.
"I appreciate it, MJ." Peter said.
"Well, I gotta get going. See ya." Mary Jane said as she walks away.
Peter and Harry watches as she walks away.
"How is it you let a girl that wonderful go, Pete?" Harry said.
Peter still thinks about Mary Jane, they've been neighbors since they were 10 and best friends, They decided to take their relationship to the next level by dating in high school. They broke up about months ago due the his activities as Spider-Man putting a strain on their relationship since he had to lie to her every time and couldn't tell her the truth about himself. He still remembers the time they've had together.
Flashback
About a year ago, Peter and Mary Jane are both in Peter's room alone. They've dated for a long time and decide to take thing further in their relationship.
"Are you sure about this, Mary Jane?" Peter said.
"Yes, and you?" Mary Jane said.
"Yes, I love you." Peter said.
"I love you too, Peter." Mary Jane said.
Peter and Mary Jane kiss each other as the passion between them builds up. Mary Jane got her hands on the bottom of Peter's shirt and pulls it up. The shirt got off and she sees Peter's lean but muscular body, he looked like he has the body of a swimmer. Mary Jane step back as she took off her shirt and jeans, revealing her pink lingerie bra and panties. Peter is amazed by seeing Mary Jane in her lovely form that his heart beats.
"Wow." Peter said.
"Face it, Tiger. You just hit the jackpot." Mary Jane smiled.
Peter and Mary Jane got back to kissing each other intimately, they ended up in the bed. They got rid off their remaining clothing and proceed to have intercourse with each other. They gave their first time to each other, it became the one great night in both of their lives they will never forget.
Present
Peter remember that night he and Mary Jane had together.
"Peter? Peter!" Harry said.
"Huh, sorry, what?" Peter said.
"You okay? You look like you were having a sex dream?" Harry said.
"Uh, no I was not!" Peter denies it.
"It's okay, I'm not judging." Harry said.
"Well, I gotta get going. Dr. Connors needs me at the lab." Peter said.
"Okay, see ya later." Harry said.
Peter walked away from Harry.
Peter is inside the lab and see Dr. Connors with someone familiar, a young blonde hair girl.
"Oh, Peter Parker, I want you too meet-" Dr. Connors said.
"Gwen Stacy!" Peter said.
"Peter!" Gwen said.
"You know each other?" Dr. Connors said.
"She was an old classmate when I was in Midtown High." Peter said.
"Well, then I trust you'll show her the ropes on how we do thing around here. I got work to do."
"Sure thing, Dr. Connors." Peter said.
Dr. Connors left, leaving Peter and Gwen alone. Gwen Stacy is a 16 year old girl with blonde hair and blue eyes, standing at 5' 6". She is very brilliant like Peter, she also has a crush on Peter though she couldn't bring herself to show them and because he was in a relationship with Mary Jane.
"I'm surprised that you got an internship here, Gwen. How did you get it?" Peter said.
"Your old teacher, Mr. Warren recommended me to Dr. Connors for my brilliances and best grades." Gwen said.
"Well you are one of the smartest people I know, Gwen. Its nice to have you here." Peter said.
Gwen blushed a bit when Peter said those words. Peter shows her around the lab, she sees some of the equipment as well as some of the animals they work with, such as lizards, mice, and spiders. Gwen took her attention towards the spiders which are unlike any she ever seen before.
"I never seen spiders like these." Gwen said.
"Oh, these are some of Dr. Connors' early work. They're genetically altered spiders that combine some of the traits from the other regular spiders." Peter explained.
"That sounds cool." Gwen said.
"Yeah, cool." Peter said.
Little does Gwen know that one of these spiders made him the person he is now, changed his life.
"So, how are you and Mary Jane?" Gwen said.
"Oh, we've... broke up." Peter said.
"I didn't know, you two seem perfect for one another. Why did you break up?" Gwen said.
"Its... complicated." Peter said.
"Well, I'm sorry." Gwen said.
"It's alright, life goes on. Maybe I'll find someone someday." Peter said.
"You will, I know it." Gwen said.
"Thank you, Gwen." Peter smiled.
Gwen had some hopes that Peter may take interest in her, but he sees her as a little sister he never had. A part of her wishes she could tell Peter how she felt, but said nothing. She didn't want to ruin their friendship because of her feelings for him. She is okay being his friend even if it hurts.
Somewhere in a warehouse, a group of thugs watches the news about how Spider-Man stopped an armed robbery of a armored car.
"This was a bad idea sending our men to rob money while Spider-Man is still out there."
A man in a yellow suit with hi-tech gauntlets steps in.
"Then we need to try again." Shocker said.
"How is this going to be any different?"
Shocker holds his gauntlet up and aims it at the TV showing an image of Spider-Man. The gauntlet charges up and fires vibroshock blast at the TV, destroying it. The thugs are shocked to see the kind of weapon Shocker has.
"Because this time, he'll face the Shocker." Shocker said.
Peter is at the Daily Bugle, in the office of publisher and editor-in-chief J. Jonah Jameson, a man who has thing against vigilantism, mostly and especially Spider-Man. He sees the photos of Spider-Man fighting off the thugs from last nights robbery.
"They're crap. Crap, crap, mega crap." Jameson said.
"I think I got some good shots. So what's wrong?" Peter said.
"We always get shots of that wallcrawler doing something, but that doesn't get enough attention for the public if he keeps doing the same old crap." Jameson said.
"You mean saving people and kicking the ass of criminals?" Peter said.
"Those are nothing new, ever since he made his first appearance three years ago, the world has gone stranger, first it was him, then there is a man flying around in a armored suit, a big green monster rooming around causing mayhem. Showing off these pictures of him doesn't get enough attention and doesn't sale more papers. I'll pay a 150 for these pictures." Jameson said.
"That seem pretty low, JJ." Peter said.
"Either take it or leave it. If you can get some shots of something new, then I'll double it." Jameson said.
Peter took the check and left the office.
"How is it that you're the only photographer here who get great pictures of Spider-Man?" Eddie said.
"Sorry, Brock, trade secret." Peter said.
Peter left leaving Eddie Brock alone. Brock is a rival photographer that competes with Peter in taking photos of Spider-Man, of course no one knows that Peter and Spider-Man are the same person.
"Everyone, you need to see this!" Robbie said.
Everyone looks at the new that is live.
"We're live not at a bank as a group of thugs are holding up a bank downtown with some man in a yellow suit armed with hi-tech weaponry causing havoc as the police are unable to contain the threat. Everyone is advised to stay away from the downtown area."
Peter watches as a new player is blasting away police cars and buildings. Peter is running out, Eddie sees him.
"No way, Parker. If anyone is going to get pictures of this, it's going to be." Eddie said to himself.
Peter found someplace in the building to change into his suit, he opens up the window and swings towards the bank.
The bank in downtown is held up by Shocker and his thugs, the police led by Captain George Stacy and Lieutenant Yuri Watanabe are having trouble dealing with the situation as Shocker is blasting away the police cars, some officers are injured from the blast.
'Everyone pull back, get to safety." George Stacy ordered.
Shocker blasted a car off the ground, it came flying towards George and Yuri.
"Captain, watch out!" Yuri warned.
The car came close to crashing on top of them, they thought they were about to die until they opened their eyes and see Spider-Man holding the car up, he saved.
"Hello, sorry if I'm late." Peter said.
"You're just in time, Spidey." George is glad Spider-Man came.
Spider-Man tossed the car aside as he saved Captain Stacy. He was glad that he made it in time as George Stacy is Gwen's dad, he made sure to do what he can to keep George safe for Gwen's sake.
"There are some hostages inside, we need to make sure to get them out of danger." George said.
"I'll make sure they get out safely." Peter said.
He jumps forward towards one of the wrecked cars, giving Shocker the view of Spider-Man.
"Hey, there. Don't think we have met, I'm Spider-Man. You are...?" Peter said.
"Call me the Shocker." Shocker said.
"Okay, Shocker, no one needs to get hurt, this is between you and me. Leave the hostages out of this." Peter said.
"Everyone leave us." Shocker said.
The thugs looked confused.
"You mean 'everyone?'"
"EVERYONE!" Shocker yelled out.
The hostages got out of the bank, the thugs started their escape. Little does everyone know, Eddie Brock manage to sneak past the police to get a closer look at Shocker and Spider-Man while hiding.
"This should be interesting, a shot of Spider-Man fighting a new guy should impress JJ." Eddie said.
Everyone is out of danger, Shocker and Spider-Man fight off. Shocker fires off his gauntlets, Spider-Man jumps up and dodge it. He got close and tries to kick him, but Shocker uses his gauntlets to block the kick, he delivers a powerful punch at Spidey, he crashed into a watch.
"Uh... that's que a punch." Peter shakes it off.
Eddie snaps some pics of the fight, Spider-Man senses goes off as he sensed Eddie hiding.
"Eddie Brock? What is he doing here?" Peter said in his thoughts.
Shocker fires off again in Eddie Brock's direction. Spidery webs up Eddie and pulls him to safety, unfortunately Eddie dropped his camera as Spider-Man saved him, the camera got destroyed in the blast along with the pics.
"My camera!" Eddie said.
"Get out of here!" Peter said.
Eddie got out empty handed, which disappointed him.
Spider-Man webs up Shocker's face, blinding him. Shocker remove the webs from his face, Spider-Man got close as Shocker tries to deliver a powerful punch, Spidey dodge it and grapples the gauntlet, He then push kicked Shocker back. Spider-Man managed to disarm one of Shocker's gauntlet, leaving one gauntlet left. Shocker got back on his feet and fires off his only gauntlet, Spider-Man ran forward and dodge every incoming blast. He got closer to Shocker, dodge another powerful punch and does a roundhouse kick to the face. Spider-Man webs him to the ground as Shocker got taken out. He took off the last gauntlet from Shocker.
The police came in a little close as Shocker got defeated.
"Well done, Spider-Man." George Stacy said.
"Happy to help, what about the hostages?" Peter said.
"They're safe, and those thugs that escaped didn't get far. We've managed to capture them before they disappeared." George Stacy said.
"Glad to hear it. I'll leave him to you." Peter said.
Spider-Man jumped away as Captain Stacy and the police arrested Shocker. Eddie Brock is still upset that he didn't save the pics of the fight, he has nothing to give to Jameson. Peter managed to get a camera in place to take the pictures of the fight.
"Payday. Hopefully JJ will buy these and change his opinion about me." Peter said to himself.
Spider-Man swing away as George is on the phone with Gwen.
"Don't worry, Gwennie, I'm fine thanks to Spider-Man, he saved my life." George Stacy said.
"I'm glad that you're alright. I love you, Dad." Gwen said.
"I love you too." George Stacy said.
George hangs up, he thought he was going to die, leaving Gwen alone. If wasn't for Spider-Man, he would have die.
Next Day
He got the see the paper with the picture of Spider-Man and Shocker.
"'Spider-Man and Shocker wreaked havoc on the city', you've got to be kidding me. Well, at least I got paid and no one died, Gwen still gets to have her dad, that all that matters." Peter said to himself.
Peter stopped by F.E.A.S.T., a homeless shelter that May works at. He enters it and see May and Mary Jane working, Mary Jane does some volunteering work to help May.
"Peter?" May said.
"Hey, Aunt May." Peter said.
"What are you doing here?" May said.
"Is it too much for your dear nephew to come and see his aunt?" Peter said.
"Never." May said.
Peter and May hugged each other. Mary Jane approaches them.
"MJ, thank you for helping out my aunt." Peter said.
"Of course, I care for her too, like you." Mary Jane said.
"MJ, can you go and get the fruit punches in the back." May said.
"Sure, nice to see you, Tiger." Mary Jane said.
"You too, MJ." Peter said.
Mary Jane walks away as Peter sees her, May noticed it.
"You two were so cute together." May said.
"Excuse me?" Peter said.
"I was happy that you two were together, why did you two break up?" May said.
"I was too busy that it put a strain in our relationship. It was my fault." Peter said.
"You still think about her, Peter. I can see it in your eyes. You still love her." May said.
"She deserve better, better than me." Peter said.
"You do deserve her, Peter. You are more than better. Don't lose hope." May said.
Peter smiled and hugged Aunt May.
"Thank you," Peter said.
Peter can't deny that he still has feelings for Mary Jane, he was still hurt that they've broken up. A part of him wish that he could share his life with her and tell her the truth, but he still thinks about how being with him can endanger her life. He could never forgive himself if she ever got hurt or worse because of him. He made the hardest choice of letting her go so she can be happy and safe. He couldn't stop being who he is, never stop being a hero, he is and always will be Spider-Man.
