AN: Naruto!fem = Naruko

Pilot / Prologue

Twelve years ago, there was once an evil monster known as the Nine-Tailed Demon Fox. One night, it attacked the village of Konoha and killed many innocent people that night. None of the ninjas of Konoha could stop it, so the village leader, the Fourth Hokage, cast a jutsu on the Nine-Tails that sealed it in a newborn girl, and cost the Fourth Hokage's life.

In the present time, at the Ninja Academy, this newborn, Naruko Uzumaki got a reputation as a delinquent, some in the village viewed her as the demon itself. Nevertheless, Iruka Umino, and to a lesser extent the Third Hokage, were the only two positive influences on her. Despite this, she continuously failed the graduation exam, which consisted of doing a Clone Jutsu. While Naruko was decently skilled in most of the basic techniques taught at the Academy, for some reason she has never been able to perform this one correctly.

Mizuki, another Academy examiner, used Naruko's depression after her most recent failure into stealing the Scroll of Seals, a collection of forbidden techniques housed within the Hokage's study, claiming that Naruko would be automatically passed by simply learning a technique from the scroll.

Meanwhile, Orochimaru was in his hideout, within his lab. Orochimaru was one of the legendary tannins, with a life ambition of obtaining all world's secrets, he was aiming for immortality so that he could live for as long as needed to accomplish his tasks. He was defected from the village a decade before since he was caught red-handed doing unethical experiments, and for long he has been seeking the village's destruction in order to take revenge and show to the world what he has learned.

Within his unethical experiments, there was one currently on-going, he had strapped down on an operating room Jugo, such a mysterious ninja from an unknown clan. Jugo was a danger to the village he was, every time he gets angry, something within his organism changes and mutates, and then he harms anyone near to him. Jugo used to live within caves, where he would not see anyone so that he would not cause any harm, but that changed the day he met Kimimaru, and he showed him to Orochimaru, one of the only ones who could understand his disease and maybe find a cure.

- "Don't worry, Jugo, we need to really find the organism, the protein, or even the virus that triggers you," Orochimaru said as he was extracting blood from his spine, the pain was tremendous for Jugo, but it was necessary.

After some analysis of Jugo's blood, Orochimaru with the assistance of Kabuto was able to extract the organism, and then synthesize it. Apparently it was some sort of virus, and upon contact of natural cells, it would "plug-in" and it would create (and recreate) sentience within the infected being's cellular make up. The virus acts by affecting the protein-encoding regions of the promoter introns in each cell. As a retrovirus, the virus contained both RNA and reverse transcriptase enzyme, allowing it to insert its own genetic codes into the host's cell. For Jugo, the virus entered, re-purposes the cell and changes it.

When Jugo gets angry, there was a trigger from his brain that activated this virus within his blood, and it would propagate his body into a sword, scale, weapons, it was bizarre yet so interesting. Nevertheless, as Orochimaru attempted to place the virus to someone else, another test subject, they would die, the virus somewhat consumed the being and rejected.

Orochimaru hoped that Naruko might be a great test subject as she had the Kyuubi within her, so much strength and energy that the virus could not reject, it was not possible for it, and therefore Orochimaru ordered Kabuto to get to her, as soon as possible, and that happened to be today.

While Naruko was searching for the roll for Mizuki, it was at night, as she moved through the Hokage's study, and actually stole it from there, but his mission would fail, as Kabuto grabbed her, performed a medical jutsu that knocked her off, and took her to Orochimaru's hideout.

Upon the facility, Orochimaru placed her on a medical suit, black and skin-tight, with several points of injections as Orochimaru then placed into her the virus, it was dropping by as his orange chakra was coming out of his body, rushing, trying to fight the virus, yellings that could only be heard by them as the hideout was within the mountains, in a deep cave.

- "You have killed her, where is she?" Naruko yelled as truly the virus had dissolved and eaten her, leaving Naruko's mindscape alone, at least up to that moment.

- "Mother..." the voice whispered.
