Hey people, so this is my first fic and there are some things that you really need to know about it.

First, disclaimer: If Harry Potter belonged to me, he would be dark. Since he is not, it doesn't belong to me.

Second, I got the idea to write this story after I read "The Rise of the Dark Lord" by .Xanda. It is the most amazing Harry Potter fanfic I have ever read and I recommend it to everyone! (And I have read a lot). However, in my opinion, it is not finished even though it is marked as finished and there will be no continuation. This caused me sooooooo much pain that I decided to do my own story based on this fanfic but with a twist and actually try to finish it.

So basically, this is a fanfic about "The Rise of the Dark Lord" so it may include some parts from it. Please don't kill me for it!

Third, English is not my primary language so I would love for you guys to review and give me tips and ideas for this story!

Well, thank you for reading this and here goes nothing...

"Normal speech"

"Letters or memories"

"Parseltongue"

Prologue.

Squealing tires …

A flight that seems eternal …

A painful blow to the water …

Locked doors and windows that you no longer want to open…

The twins are tired… Mother is an alcoholic. Father is a crazy drug addict, a violent one at that. With often manifesting sadistic inclinations. This side of their father for some reason appeared exclusively in the presence of twins. Indeed, unlike the three older brothers, who themselves would not mind using them as punching bags, they did not acquire impressive physiques and a bunch of muscles. A miniature, even fragile, physique, coupled with fair features and large emerald green eyes made them visually harmless. But this is only a deception because their not so easy life made both brothers learn to survive, and together they can put on the shoulder blades even an enemy that is superior in strength due to speed and flexibility, as well as true fox tricks. Because of their appearance, they were often bullied on the streets, and then at school. But despite this, the twins liked their deceptively fragile appearance. The manes of anthracite black hair, descending in a heavy silk wave to the middle of their thighs, became their common pride, although this gave rise to a new wave of ridicule from people.

Then came the long-awaited adulthood...

Freedom!

Yeah, right… False friends and boring study, and then the routine job in the office drove them into anguish. Neither of them even had a spouse or even a lover to brighten the day. And will never have. After all, each brother realized quite early that the only person in the entire world that he could trust, completely and without doubt, can only be his twin. Only they will always be there for each other, and they don't need others anymore...

"We will die?" decided to ask the younger twin. His voice remained calm even though he was speaking of their common death.

"Yes." Answered the elder with the same, even voice, while watching them sink deeper and deeper into the water, and the saving separation between water and air getting farther away.

"Are you glad?" Asked the younger brother a question that would make him seem crazy to anyone but his twin.

"I do not know. Are you?"

"Me neither," Said the younger with a sigh.

The brothers fell silent, peering into the thickness of the water, which would become their common death.

"And you know what... I'm glad. Yes, I'm glad." Said the older twin with slight hesitation, turning to his little brother.

"Hah?" The other turned to his beloved brother.

"We are together. Together we came to this world and together we will leave it forever…" A light smile appeared on his lips as he spoke.

"You know …" Started the younger, but hesitated.

"Mmm?" His twin hummed in slight curiosity.

"I am also happy, because we are, as always, together." He finished with a slight smile.

"Always together ..." his brother echoes.

"I have a gun" Sounds an unexpected confession.

"Where from?"

"Remained from the army. It was broken so I fixed it and decided it might come in handy."

They fell silent again, watching the water slowly but irreversibly fill the car and feeling how the oxygen was slowly running out and it becomes more difficult to breathe with each passing second. Suddenly, the younger one turns to his brother, confident and at the same time with a frown on his face, looks into his eyes and starts to say a little uncertainly:

"Brother ... I ... can you kill me?" He finishes with more a little more confidence. He does not want to die from suffocation in the water. He does not want to suffer before death, feeling how oxygen slowly leaves him and his lungs begin to burn.

The elder jumped a little but then stared for several long seconds into those eyes that are so similar to his own, trying to find fear or at least some hesitation. Looks and does none. Only some kind of painful determination. Of course, he knew what his brother was thinking. Why he was asking him to do this. He always did, just like his brother, he was always able to tell what was on his twin's mind. They never kept secrets from each other, and they never will. Plus it is kind of difficult to keep secrets from a person that you have a mind link with. They were able to read each other's thoughts and communicate mentally since they can remember themselves. They also felt each other's emotions. It is weird and even scary when they think of it since no one else was able to do the same, even other things that they met once. They eventually learned how to use it to their advantage and were thankful to have this skill which brought them even closer.

So he understands his brother's, seemingly insane, decision.

And now, it seems that if he does not fulfill the request, then his sweet, little brother will take the gun and shoot himself on his own. He, without words, understands the reason for this, from the side of the probably insane, decision. After all, a long death from suffocation is thousands of times worse than a quick and painless escape from the hands of the only person who you can trust with your life without hesitation. He understands all this, so without another word, he takes the iron weapon and puts it against his brothers' temple, seeing how a lonely tear rolled down his cheek.

"Just don't stay here for too long brother… do not leave me there alone." Quietly pleaded the younger brother, looking in the eyes of the one he asked to kill him.

"I swear I will not leave you. Together forever…" The oath sounded with a slight smile on his lips.

"Together forever ..." The twin repeated after his brother mirroring his smile.

Then sounded the shot that claimed the life of Kiramiel Asher, the younger of the twins. A few seconds later another, an identical shot could be heard and it claimed the life of Elenore Asher, the eldest of the twins.

But they did not know that their path has not yet ended, it has just begun…

At that exact moment, a beautiful blonde woman, who had previously been sitting at a large round table among other men and women and chatting cheerfully with the brunette on her right, jumped sharply and exclaimed before disappearing, "They are here, I feel it!"

But others, who were still seated around the table seemed to understand what the blonde meant and froze. However, the stupor did not last long and they began to argue vigorously about who would go with Fate, completely forgetting the past topic of conversation.

"I will go." Came a stern voice that did not hold any room for objections from a handsome man with black hair and the same black eyes that seem endless.

Everyone else silently agreed, but another blonde sitting next to the black-haired man said firmly:

"I'm coming with you, I won't let you go alone." She looked him in the eyes for a couple of long moments to prove that she was serious and continued, "Plus, I can explain what is happening to them the best"

The black-haired man only nodded, knowing there was no point in arguing and silently got up, stretching out his hand to the blond-haired woman. In a second, only empty chairs reminded of their past presence at the table.

The rest of the people were left to wait, knowing that the fate of not only all of them, but the entire universe, was being decided…
