Windy Days

The wind rushed by her face as she hung tight on to her boyfriend on his motorcycle.

She felt exhilarated as she could finally express her love for him to the world.

The wind brushed by her hair at her engagement ceremony.

Asuna could feel the joy in the air as she put a ring on the man of her dreams.

The wind blew her white veil up during the wedding procession.

Kirito looked so disappointed that he couldn't do it herself before he leaned in and gave her a kiss full of passion.

Asuna felt a cool breeze dance on her face as she held Yui tight in her arms as her namesake watched from an overhead camera.

This was their first child and Asuna would never let her go.

The wind caressed her face as she watched both Yui's get married to their respective boyfriends.

Yui, the AI, got married to another game system from a different VRMMORPG, one that was surprisingly about dating; however, through holographic images, she was able to have a marriage IRL.

Yui, the light of Asuna's life, got married to Lisbeth and Klein's son, Haru.

The day was filled with joy as lanterns swung wildly with gusto.

The wind smacked her face just before she got into an accident with a tanker.

She could feel the sadness all around her as her body burned to ash.

She tried to embrace Kirito and Yui to comfort them, but found she couldn't and her hug had manifested as a simple soothing breeze.

If nothing else...at least this is there.

As Yui held her first child, a adorable girl named Hikari, she could feel a breeze brush away all of her exhaustion from childbirth.

I love you, Mom and Dad.

A/N: I was just thinking about how ordinary things affect people in certain ways and came up with this fanfic. It's just a oneshot just to be clear to anyone who was expecting a sequel. I hope you guys like it. I'm at least glad to present my first fanfic story to the world. Just a side note, I can't wait until all of the Alicization dubbed episodes are released. Please read and review. And, see you next time.

With spirits, through flames.
