I still don't know how this happened Maybe it was fate or maybe it was just a coincidence,I may never know but one thing I know for sure is that I still would want it to turn out as it turned out because I wouldn't want it any other way.

so I should probably start with the story now,Jason and I have always been best friends since we were five years old.Jason and his family moved into the house opposite us when we were just 5 years old,one day we were both playing on the playground near our houses and suddenly we started to play together like we've been friends for ages.

since then we've been always together,I guess I should also say that we are both a little bit different more than the same.Jason is the captain of the football team in our high school,He likes to party and also almost all the girls in our school are after him which is something that is not so easy for me.

and me well, let's just say I'm kind of a bookworm.mostly I like to be at home with good tea and a good book. but I also play guitar and piano,sing and sometimes I even write songs from time to time.Don't take me wrong I like going to a party but only occasionally, Mostly when I am at a party I sit alone with a beer in my hands and i am looking at the people around me who are always drunk and doing stupid things.

and around Jason are almost all the girls who flirt with him so it is like any other party here I would say.

even though we are so different we have some things we like to do together,but above all, we are best friends for so long, and I hope that it will always be like this between us.

But it wasn't like that always that we were the best friends and everything.once everything changed due to an unexpected event about the event that i going to tell you about now.

it was just after the summer and we were all returning to school our high school in rosewood.

Rosewood is a small town where me and Jason have been living since childhood,well actually just me because jason moved here when he was 5 years old which i already said.

This whole summer was really terrible for me I was alone with my family all the time,because Jason and his family went to Iceland.And for some reason My parents didn't let me go with them, Of course we were calling every now and then he told me about all the adventures he had in iceland.

he told me about the girl he met there,

who was also there only on vacation with her family.then he told me that the girl was also from rosewood like we are,and we both wondered that we had never seen her there because rosewoood is a very small town and that she is also from the same high school as we and that was even more stranger for us.

because we would definitely see her at our school,but jason said he never saw her at our school.and I thought maybe I never saw her too though he never sent me her picture for the whole summer he was telling me about her.

all summer he was telling me how much he love her, how he fell in love with her, and how he never met a girl like her before in his life.when I heard this i trought that it was really strange to hear that from Jason that he fell in love with someone but everything in life is possible.

So when the summer was over I was about to go to school I was in my room and I was preparing things to take with me when someone knocked on my door,when the door opened my mom stood there and then she entered my room.

Dianne: so you're ready to go to school;

I looked at my mom strangely.

Ezra: Sure why I wouldn't i;

I said when i put things in my backpack and went out of the room.

My mom went to me and said.

Dianne: Well you don't have to be upset I just asked you;

She said and went to the kitchen where I followed her,She went to the kitchen counter and started preparing some food.

I sighed and said.

Ezra: I know mom Sorry this whole summer was just strange for me,I'd say I'm just a little frustrated;

My mom stopped preparing the food and looked at me.

Dianne: I know, honey, will you see Jason today;

Ezra: Yes, he came back yesterday but he was at home all day unpacking his stuff and doing something with his family so we'll see each other at school today.

My mom smiled at me because she knew jason is my best friend and that when we see each other again we start doing some stupid and crazy things again like always.

Dianne: that's good, don't you know if Adrianne went to school already;

My mom said and started preparing the food again.

Adrianne is my just from 2 years younger sister, She is very outgoing She is still just in middle school now and has a lot of friends and four best friends.

Ezra: no I don't know I didn't see her,but I think she's already gone because almost every time she leaves first.let me check (Adrianneeeeee!);

I screamed loudly.

Ezra no, i dont hear any insult so she must be already gone,and i gotta go to i see you later mom;

I said and when i was about to go out of our house my mom called after me.

Ezra: yes mom;

My mom went to me and said.

Dianne: wait what about the breakfast mistr;

she said and put her hands on her hips.

I didn't know what to say because mom can be sometimes strict about things like this so i just said.

Ezra: i will eat something at school,i am not very hungry i am going now bye mom;

I went of our house to my car and drove away.

when I was at school, nothing special or new was happening there, all my classmates looked quite the same.

then I was at my old locker that I opened put things in it, and closed it.

I was expecting someone from my friends to appear me and jason has 2 friends who are part of our group Toby and Caleb.

but I haven't seen them yet then I thought both of them might already be in class. so I thought that i should go to class too, even though it didn't ring yet. but when I wanted to go there I saw Jason coming to me.

Jason: hey buddy;

Jason said with a smile and we hugged briefly like men.

Ezra hey man, You're already here;

Jason rolled his eyes and said.

Jason: of course, I'm here to start this school year like never before buddy;

I laughed softly, and I thought that this is just Jason who i knew all my life.For a while we talked about everything when I noticed that his girlfriend wasn't there with him yet.

he did say that she attends the same school as the two of us.so of course I asked him about it.

Ezra: hey jason where is the girl you met in iceland, you said she went to the same school as the two of us, where is she huh. I nudged him gently on the shoulder and said again.

Ezra: she already broke up with you right,do you need to cry on my shoulder now;

I was just joking I just realy wanted to know if Jason did break up with her already or if she did break up with him because Jason can't date a girl for so long without asking for sex.

Jason: no thanks man, but she will be here after a while just watch ok;

so we both waited and in less than 5 minutes the most beautiful girl I had ever seen in my life went to us, she was absolutely breathtaking.I couldn't even talk it was like I got stuck and I couldn't say anything at all, as she walked down the hallway to us, her hair was waving like sea waves, she had beautiful long dark brown hair and the most beautiful hazel eyes I had ever seen.

when she was already near us Jason grabbed her hand and kissed her cheek.and in that moment I felt such a strange feeling in my stomach,I was jealous and I knew it. i was jealous of my best friend that he had met her first.

Jason and her were quietly whispering someting to each other's ears. when suddenly Jason and she went to me with their hands holding each other and jason said.

Jason: ezra this is aria my girlfriend;

Then he looked at her and said.

Jason: and aria this is ezra my best friend;

Me and that girl looked at each other curiously and then she smiled at me she reached her hand and said.

Aria: hi ezra;

it was unbelievable for me that Jason found someone so beautiful, i mean almost all the beautiful girls in this school go aftwr him but this girl was different than the previous ones that Jason was dating ans i knew it.

even though I was jealous at that moment already I knew I couldn't do anything about it she's Jason's girl and so I wanted to respect that I reached out my hand to her to and shook it and then i said.

Ezra: hi aria nice to met you too.
