Deku Gets a Makeover!
Katsuki Bakugo was a man of many things. He is a man of his word, he is loyal, he can be an ass. But lying is not one of the things he is known for.
Now, was it a fact that he currently has a crush on his childhood best friend? Yes, yes it was.
Does he find Deku's normal, adorable nature incredibly cute? Yes.
Did it turn him on to watch the nerd fight and work out among other things? Hell yes.
Has he attempted to count Deku's freckles? …yes.
Would he internally jump and squeal at the chance to hang out with Deku? Yes.
Would he ever admit these things out loud? No, no he wouldn't.
(Boy was he wrong.)
Its currently a Friday afternoon of class 3-A's school year. Each of the students had grown considerably over the last few years. Deku especially. The boy who was once the twentieth ranked member of the class reached number one in the ranks. He also had grown considerably in size and stature. He now stood eye level with Aizawa and had managed to gain some muscle along the way, all the while still coming across as the adorable boy many know and love.
Izuku Midoriya was currently sitting in Aoyama's room with Ochaco who was digging through the greenette's clothes. Aoyama was fixing the greenette's curls into a different fashion.
"Hold still, Midoriya," the blonde instructed.
"Why are we doing this again?" Deku asked as he remained still while the blonde worked on him.
"The entire class has only seen cute Midoriya," Ochaco spoke up, "But you have so many jean and leather jackets in your closet that we thought we could change it up a bit."
"But why?" he asked again.
"Just imagine the look on all of their faces when us three show up for karaoke tonight, and bam!" Aoyama explained. "Bad boy Midoriya is going to blow them away."
"Don't be afraid to be flirty either," Ochaco added. "It would work with the look."
"Done!" Aoyama said as he clasped his hands together. "What do you think, mon a mi?" he asked as he spun the chair around to show off Midoriya's finished style.
"Damn!" Ochaco gasped, coming closer. Deku's hair had been styled with gel and pushed to one side, revealing the small patch of shaved skin behind his left ear. He wore a clip-on black earring. Aoyama also added a small line of black eyeliner and a bit of mascara to bring out his bright green eyes.
"If I weren't taken, I might even hit on you," she chuckled. "Now, put this on." She said as she handed him some clothes.
"I'll be right back," he nodded, heading to Aoyama's bathroom.
Moments later he came out, and the outfit was complete.
Midoriya was wearing a black crop top with the words "Naughty or Nice" written in white cursive on it. He also wore black, ripped skinny jeans that hugged his hips tightly but also teased a view of his v-line. He wore a jean jacket, and a new pair of red converses to match.
"What do you think?" he asked, shyly, putting a hand behind his neck and blushing.
"You look great!" Ochaco smiled.
"Yes, but to pull this off, you should act like this is your typical style. We haven't been out together as a group since our first year at UA, right?" Aoyama asked.
"Yes, so what should I do?" Deku asked, curious.
"Come off as a bad boy, Midoriya," Aoyama cooed, walking behind him. He grasped one of Midoriya's hands and placed it on the exposed hip. "Don't get flustered, don't be afraid to have attitude, you own this look."
"Right!" he cheered.
"We'd better get going, you two!" Uraraka shouted, opening the door to the room.
"Let's go!" Midoriya charged, walking outside with the others in tow.
"Do you think he can pull this off?" Aoyama asked.
"Definitely," Ochaco whispered, "Once he gets his mind set on something, Deku can do anything."
"Good," Aoyama nodded, "at this rate, we will arrive fashionably late."
And arrive late they did, but only by ten minutes. Aoyama and Uraraka were the first to walk into the room and were immediately greeted by the other class members.
"Hey guys!" Kirishima waved, sitting beside Mina and Sero. "We were beginning to wonder if you were going to make it." Denki sat on the other side of Sero. Bakugo took a chair for himself at the corner of the room. Jiro and Momo sat on a bean bag chair across the room from Bakugo.
"Oi, if you're going to show up for something, how about you try showing up on ti-"
Bakugo's rant was cut off as the greenette walked into the room. His exposed, freckled hips swayed to the subtle music playing in the background. His tanned skin appeared even darker in the dimly lit room. Instead of his usual smile, he held a sly smirk with half lidded eyes as he glanced over the room, making eye contact with his class mates.
"Sorry we ran a little late," he cooed, glancing in Bakugo's direction, silencing his argument. None of his usual nerves shown through, rather, he seemed more confident.
"Midoriya?" Kirishima asked, picking his jaw up from off the floor.
"Holy shit," Kaminari spoke up, looking the greenette over before licking his lips. "Hey, I call dibs on that tall drink of water."
"Careful, Kaminari," Deku chuckled, walking closer to him. The greenette met his eyes before scanning down the rest of his body then making eye contact. "I might be more than you can handle," he whispered in the blonde's ear sending sparks down Denki's body. Once Midoriya turned to find a seat, Kaminari was finding it difficult to not short-circuit while hiding the blush that spread across his cheeks.
Ochaco had joined Iida on one of the smaller couches while Deku moved to sit beside Aoyama. The greenette propped his arms across the back of the couch, and the blonde took that as initiative to scoot closer, leaning his head against Midoriya's supple forearm. He didn't want to sit too close since most of their class was staring at the greenette with hungry eyes.
"Pardon me- I'm just going to- excuse me- I need to-" Denki muttered as he made his way around his class mates to take the seat next to Midoriya's hip. After settling into Deku's side, he handed the greenette a shot glass before pouring him some vodka. They each took a shot while getting comfortable.
"Are we going to get started, or what?" Bakugo hissed, crossing his arms.
"Iida and I will go first!" Ochaco replied, dragging the tall male to the stage in their room.
"I didn't agree to this!" he said nervously as he followed her anyway.
"Let's do 'Don't go Breaking My Heart!'" she shouted excitedly.
"Gross," Bakugo whispered before returning his gaze to the greenette who sat comfortably next to Kaminari.
As the two began their song, Bakugo's gaze turned into a glare, and it landed on Denki, but this blonde was too preoccupied by the greenette whom he was happily chatting with.
"You know," Kirishima began, catching the ash blonde's attention. "Midoriya has one more open spot next to him if Aoyama doesn't scoot any closer."
"What do I care?" he grunted.
"I mean," Kirishima began slyly, glancing from the ash blonde back to the greenette. "I might go take that spot for myself if you don't."
"Whatever," Bakugo huffed. "Why would I sit by him?"
"Suit yourself," Kirishima said with a blush. As soon as Kirishima made a move to stand, Bakugo jumped up and made his way to the greenette. Upon arrival, he didn't speak, he just stared at him with crossed arms.
"Something I can help you with, Kacchan?" Deku asked, that smirk still present, rather than the adorable smile.
"I'm sitting here, Deku," the ash blonde replied, pointing to the free spot before plopping down next to the greenette. He was so close that their thighs were squished together. Bakugo looked to the side and saw Aoyama still resting his head against Deku's forearm. He grunted before quickly jerking the arm away and putting it around his shoulder, effectively pulling himself further into Deku's side.
"Do you want a drink, Kacchan?" the greenette asked, already pouring two shots. Kaminari and Kirishima began to engage in conversation on the other side of the couch.
"Give me," he replied, taking the glass and downing the strong liquid. Deku chuckled at this, earning a blush from the ash blonde.
"Care for another?" Midoriya asked, smiling more closely to the normal smile Bakugo had grown to love. He reached his hand for the offered glass, but Deku quickly threw the drink into his own mouth without swallowing. He smirked at Katsuki's expression before doing the come here motion with his fingers.
"You nerd, what makes you think I'll drink it now?" He asked, grateful for the dark room.
"Midoriya, turn around!" Kaminari offered, tugging at the greenette's sleeve, "I'll take it," he cooed, licking his lips. Deku began to shift his direction, but he was cut off by Bakugo grabbing the front of his jean jacket and jerking him forward, crashing their lips together.
Bakugo ran his tongue across Midoriya's bottom lip before accepting the alcohol into his own mouth. Their lips meshed against one another, careful not to spill a drop as their lips began to dance together. Deku ran scarred hands through Bakugo's spiky hair, tugging slightly to deepen the kiss.
Bakugo moaned, grateful for the noise of the music, but embarrassed by the hoots and calls by his classmates. It didn't matter though. He was kissing Deku. Deku was kissing him. He dared to peak open his eyes. Deku's freckled cheeks were so close to his, and there was a dark blush across his cheeks. Bakugo smiled into the kiss, closing his eyes and gently caressing the greenette's freckled cheek.
They slowly broke apart, both pairs of eyes fluttering open slowly. Deku's shy nature had returned, he began chewing on his lower lip shyly, looking away from Bakugo.
"I call dibs on the next shot!" Kirishima called, attempting to pour a shot of vodka.
"Then me," Kirishima winked. Midoriya chuckled at the enthusiasm of the two boys that had sat next to him.
"Hell fucking no," Bakugo muttered before grabbing the greenette's hand and a bottle of vodka before heading towards the exit. "He's mine."
"Goodnight guys," Midoriya called. He turned to Ochaco and Aoyama mouthing the words 'thank you.'
