AN: First things first, the cover image is not my art, it belongs to the original artist to which I don't know the name of. If you know, please let me know, that would be very much appreciated! :)

Hiya! Long time no see! I hope you all are staying clean and safe! Please make sure to look after yourselves throughout this time!

Today I have a little BakuDeku oneshot for ya! I absolutely love BHNA and BkDk is my OTP! I find these two absolutely adorable uwu. (I only ship Bakugou and Deku with each other uwu)

I understand this is a pretty controversial ship, and I'm an anti when it comes to anti shipping and i'm an anti to haters too! I hate seeing people in any fandom try shove their opinions and ships down other's throats, it makes me so sad that some people can't appreciate other's opinions. So please just respect mine, and other's ships, preferences and opinions and be kind and respectful to those around you and we can all enjoy our fandoms together! :)

Anyways I hope you enjoy this little oneshot and be prepared from so more BkDk content and BHNA content in general from me.

!Disclaimer! I do not own Boku No Hero Academia/My Hero Academia and its characters, it all belongs to the legend that is Kohei Horikoshi! I only own my OCs Meka and Zuka uwu. ALSO, apologies if any of the characters are a bit OOC in this qwq.

Enjoy! x

Katsuki looked away from the TV turning to his phone.

12:04am. The bright numbers glared at him as if they were taunting him.

Where is he?

It was as if Kirishima had read his thoughts as he had paused the game and placed his controller next to Katsuki's already abandoned one.

Kirishima gave a quick glance to Kaminari's sleeping form then turned his attention to Katsuki, almost immediately after the confirmation of their other friend being asleep.

"I know you're worried about him bro, it's written all over your face, but I can assure you, he's fine."

And trust Katsuki, he would love to believe Kirishima, but this is Izuku Midoriya that they were talking about. The little shit was always getting himself in trouble and because said little shit was always putting others before himself, he was almost always hurt. He hated seeing Izuku hurt. (As much as he loved how selfless Izuku was, Katsuki didn't appreciate it when Izuku came back to him wrapped in bandages.)

But instead of voicing his worries of his boyfriend's health, he just gave Kirishima a small nod, keeping his mouth shut.

Unfortunately, Kirishima has known Katsuki for a long time now and he should've learnt at this point that it's absolutely pointless trying to hide his feelings from him. Thankfully luck was on his side and Kirishima just flashed him a comforting smile and patted him on the back.

"You up for another round?" Kirishima said, a challenge underlying his tone as he smirked at his friend, picking up his controller again.

Katsuki mirrored his mischievous look and picked up his own controller in an aggressive motion.

"You are so on, prepare to taste my whole ass, Shitty hair." He replied with an equally as challenging tone as the sounds of Mario Kart slowly filtered into the night.

The wet, ball of fluff kept shivering as the heaving rain came down in consistent buckets, the harsh wind heavily blanketing the animal in a fierce cold.

Izuku, on the other hand, was hot from the sudden adrenaline and sheer determination to get the poor animal home.

The apartment complex had just come into view and Izuku took the opportunity to sprint like his life depended on it.

The constant whimpering only fueled Izuku to dash faster to the looming building, only stealing short glances at the fur ball.

As he rushed to the threshold of the building he tried to slow his breath and pace to come off as less suspicious. He clutched his new friend closer to his chest, as if the action would make them invisible.

He slowly ascended the floors to his apartment he shared with Kaachan, thankful that the hour he had come home was so late (or early) that the receptionist was asleep.

Although he knew that the dog, despite not being particularly small, fit the regulations that the complex had about pets.

No. It wasn't the complex owner he was worried about.

It was Kaachan.

Kaachan didn't hate animals per say, but if he was faced with the choice of being a pet owner or not, he would gladly go for the latter.

And if Izuku was being honest, it might not be the best idea having the (not so) little dog around, especially in their line of work. His and Kaachan's routines might not be ideal or adaptable for a pet and maybe Izuku should've thought this through but how could he leave the poor thing on the streets? How could he ignore the sad puppy and just walk past like he hadn't seen it literally on the verge of hypothermia, and or starvation.

He couldn't, that's the problem, his heart wouldn't allow it, it hurt too much if he even thought of ignoring the pup.

Well, if Kaachan deemed that they couldn't keep him, he would at least try to find him a good home, at the very very least.

But Izuku had some damn good tricks up his sleeve to get the Yes, and he knew how to use them effectively, especially against Kaachan.

As Izuku came to his front door, he manoeuvred the now sleeping dog to rest on his hip while he fished out his keys from his pocket.

But to his surprise, the door was already unlocked.

He pushed the door open with his foot, sliding his shoes off as he stepped into the threshold.

After analysing his surroundings, he slowly and quietly locked the door and shuffled to the bathroom, ignoring his growling stomach.

Maybe it was a blessing that Kaachan was asleep because he didn't have to deal with protective touches for injuries, him voicing his worries and concerns of him being late and with his boyfriend telling him the possibilities he had thought up on why he was late, and or Kaachan yelling at him for bringing a stray into their home.

Or maybe it was a curse because he would have to deal with all that tomorrow, especially the last one. It'll be hard to explain why there's a dog in their apartment that wasn't there when the explosive blond fell asleep.

Locking the bathroom, he began cleaning the dog, washing his fur with warm soapy water, making sure he was clean, unharmed and warm.

He was a beautiful dog. A medium sized, grey husky, with the most adorable brown eyes. He was very cute, so much so that he made Izuku's heart clench.

And being medium sized, he wasn't as big as most huskies tend to be, and he looked young, so he was probably still a puppy.

After a lengthy bath, Izuku made a point to the dry off the dog until he was completely dry and fluffy.

After the dog was clean, Izuku got started on cleaning himself up, throwing his wet clothes in the washing basket, he had left his hero costume at the agency so he needn't to worry about cleaning that.

As the hot water hit his skin he began cleaning himself from head to toe.

Being a top hero had done a lot to Izuku. Even after only 4 years after graduation, pro hero life had been hard, but Izuku worked harder than anyone and it paid off. His appearance hadn't changed much since UA though, thanks to the baby face, and even now that he still has a baby face, he looked much more mature and adult like. Sure, he had acquired a couple more inches, his abs and muscles more defined, he had more scars than freckles (maybe that's an exaggeration, he has a lot of freckles) his hair was a little bit darker and shorter still in it's trademark messy curls, but he was still the same, soft and positive Deku. The same bright, smart and strong, caring kid he had always been. A pure cinnamon roll so to speak if you asked anybody but himself.

He was still in contact with everyone from class 3-A, him and Kirishima (Kirishima and Deku being the class's own suns, and Izuku being the class cinnamon roll who needed 'protection' as everyone went out of their way to look after him and make sure he was looking after himself too) had taken it upon themselves to stay close to everyone, even Mineta.

They were all family, and nothing was going to change that. They were never alone as long as they were all together.

But the best thing that had happened to him was Kaachan. Shortly after they came clean to class 3-A about their relationship, and after graduation, he and the short tempered explosion hero had moved in and became hero partners like they always promised, 'The Wonder Duo'. They were an unstoppable team and even more so an unstoppable couple. And believe it or not, he was the only one that could make Katsuki Bakugou go soft.

Kaachan was protective, affectionate and just an amazing boyfriend and an even better hero partner, he wouldn't, couldn't, ask for anyone else.

As Izuku threw on some clean warm clothes, he exited the bathroom with his furry friend in tow, in search of something for the both of them to eat.

As he rummaged through the cupboards for something ideal enough for a dog, he tried to hide his surprise that dog was showing no interest in exploring the apartment. Izuku chalked it up to being that he was still getting used to the fact he was in a new place and inside no less.

By some miracle, he found a can of meat, and he placed it down on the floor for the dog to munch on.

Izuku eventually just settled on some left over Katsudon and sat on the bench. He kept his eye on the dog while eating, wanting to make sure that he was comfortable. But the dog seemed to be watching Izuku carefully too, maybe he was making sure Izuku wasn't going to leave? Izuku would do the same thing if he was in the dog's position.

After the much needed meal, Izuku cleaned up and set off to bed. He was going to go into his and Kaachan's room, but as he was about to close the door, a whimper nearly made Izuku jump 5ft in the air.

He turned around to see the dog flashing up those huge eyes at him and Izuku physically hurt to see the poor dog so heartbroken.

With one glance at Kaachan's sleeping form, Izuku closed the door and made his way to the couch , the grey dog now bouncing around by Izuku's feet, eager to keep Izuku in his sight.

Izuku flopped onto the couch face down, only to turn his head to see the dog looking at him, as if he was seeking permission.

Izuku flashed him a warm smile and pet the couch, signalling for the husky to jump on.

And he did, cuddled up close to Izuku and Izuku cuddled him back, tangling his hands in the dog's warm, grey fur.

And in a golden moment of cloudy and sleepy nonsense, Izuku gasped.

"Grey, your name's gonna be Grey." He said quietly.

And Grey seemed to like that name as he cuddled to Izuku closer.

It would've been the understatement of the fucking year to say Katsuki woke up in a panic.

He was alone in his bed, no sign of Izuku coming into bed at all.

Okay, now was an appropriate time to be an overprotective boyfriend, and freak the fuck out.

Leaping out of bed, Katsuki threw open the bedroom door and ran into the main living space, hoping Izuku may have been completely exhausted and crashed on the couch.

To his dismay, Izuku was not in sight.

But to Katsuki's utmost surprise there was something on the couch.

Fur. Grey and white fur.

And there was a lot of it.

Now instead of just panicking he was also confused.

What the fuck?

Just as Katsuki was going to reach for his phone in an attempt to call his boyfriend, said green haired angel stepped through the door.

With a husky.

Katsuki stood there dumbfounded as he stared at his boyfriend who was mirroring his own expression. He was carrying a plastic bag full of who knows what and he was just...staring at Katsuki, as if he was waiting for an explosion.

But it wasn't Izuku he was staring at. No, he was staring at the dog, who had taken it upon itself to move in front of Izuku as if he was protecting the smaller man.

Protecting Izuku from Katsuki.

Oh fuck no.

"Deku, do you care to fucking explain why you didn't come home last night and when you do show up, you've a dog with you?" Katuki asked in a deathly calm tone.

Izuku visibly gulped. "I did come home! I just got home very late because I found this not-so-little guy, and I slept on the couch so I could keep an eye on him."

"Why did you come home late then?" Kasuki grit his teeth, his voice slowly rising in volume.

"I got caught up with hero work! I had to go see Recovery Girl for a brief moment so that kept me at the agency longer than I intended! Then it started bucketing down and it got really windy, I almost missed the train and then I found Grey and I couldn't just leave him Kaachan-!" Izuku rambled on nervously, putting his hands up in a surrendering motion.

Katsuki pinched the bridge of his nose and took a deep breath.

"We can't keep him Deku, he's going back to wherever the hell he came from-"

"Kaachan, no! We can't send him back out there!" Izuku whined, interrupting Katsuki, who was beginning to lose his patience.

"And why not Deku?" Katsuki was trying to refrain from yelling at his cute boyfriend, but it was too damn early for this.

"Please Kaachan? Can we please keep him? At least for a week? And if we can't, can we at least take him to a home?"

It was at that moment that Katsuki finally looked at Izuku's face and he damn nearly choked on his own spit.

Puppy eyes.

Izuku knew how to make Katsuki weak to knees because the Puppy eyes Izuku had could literally end up killing Katsuki one day. It was no secret to anyone, especially Katsuki, that Izuku was adorable (except for the cutie himself.)

But Izuku's cuteness was a weapon, and he unknowingly knew how to use it.

Izuku, you cute bastard.

Katuski really was going soft.

"Fine, okay. I'll give him one goddamn week, if anything happens, he's going to someone else. You're cleaning up after him but we'll both put in effort, okay?" Katsuki said, giving in.

"Yes Kaachan! I'll clean up after him, I'll feed him and look after him! Thank you, thank you, thank you!" Izuku squealed as he ran into Katsuki's arms, catching the ash blonde off guard and almost knocking him to the ground.

Katsuki couldn't help but smile at his boyfriend's childish excitement (some things never change) as he clutched his boyfriend close to his chest.

In the midst of the young couple exchanging romantic affections and small, soft kisses, the dog, whom Katsuki had completely forgotten about, had sat his ass down right between Izuku and Katsuki and he had begun growling up at Katsuki as if to say back off.

As soon as Izuku noticed the fur ball waiting for his attention, he giggled and bent down to shower the dog in the same amount, if not more affection then he had Katsuki.

So this dog was possessive?

Well, Katsuki was the most possessive bitch he knew. And it was very unlikely for Katsuki to lose anything, especially a competition for Izuku's love and especially, to a dog.

He was very unlucky that Izuku was in the room because he was biting back the burning, hot urge to flip this dog off.

Morning runs.

Izuku went on them often, so it wasn't unusual for Katsuki to wake up without his boyfriend cuddling up close to him.

But he was taking the dog- Grey- with him on these runs, and that fact alone made Katsuki's blood boil.

Now, Katsuki didn't hate the dog, he was pretty cute and he had to admit he was a very good and well trained dog, despite previously being a stray.

When Shitty hair, Pikachu, that Half-n-half bastard, Glasses and Round face came over to play some video games, Grey had stuck to Izuku's side the whole fucking night and because of that, Izuku stuck to him the whole time too. The way the dog had practically been glued to Izuku's feet was almost protective as if he was marking his territory.

Everyone thought it was adorable. Katsuki thought it was repulsive.

Eventually, everyone from their big friend group/family (AKA. Everyone from class 3-A) knew about Grey, had met him and they loved him, and it seemed those feelings were reciprocated because Grey was all over everybody in a matter of minutes.

It wasn't as if the husky didn't like Katsuki either, he had to hand it to the dog, he was making an effort to try and come to good terms with Katsuki (at least that's what it felt like) but Katsuki himself hadn't warmed up to him yet.

When Katsuki was talking about the small changes that the pair had made so the dog could adjust to their routines to his friends, Kirishima, and that stupid brain of his and that mouth that never stopped talking, unhelpfully provided that maybe Katsuki was jealous.

Jealous? Katsuki Bakugou does not get jealous. Or territorial. Yes he gets overprotective, especially over his cute boyfriend. But not jealous.

No, he wasn't, he wasn't-

Okay maybe it pissed him off that Izuku was spending more time with an animal then him, maybe he hated that Izuku was cuddling an animal instead of him, and maybe, JUST maybe, he felt a little bit jealous.

But only a little.

...Right?

"Okay Kaachan, you remember what time he needs to be fed?"

"Yes."

"And you remember what you need to do when he goes?"

"Yes Deku, picking shit up is gross, not impossible." Katsuki said sarcastically with a smirk.

"And you remember where his food actually is-"

"Yes Izu, I know how to look after the little shit. And you're only going to be gone for the day, I think I can handle it."

Izuku gave him a playfully doubtful look, flashing Katsuki a lopsided smile as if to say, really?

Katsuki deadpanned. "That hurts Deku, that really hurts." He said playfully, giving his boyfriend a small shove.

Izuku giggled.

God, please stop being cute or I might not let you leave.

"I'm just kidding, you're perfectly capable of doing anything, Kaachan."

"Fuck yeah I am, I'm the fucking best." Katsuki said, puffing his chest out in a joking manner.

Izuku threw his head back in laughter and moved closer towards Katsuki to wrap his arms around his neck.

Katsuki rested his hands on Izuku's hips, burying his face in the crook of his neck and peppering kisses on Izuku's soft spots that Katsuki knew drove the greenette crazy.

Izuku's soft little moans were enough to light Katsuki's fire, he loved all the noises Izuku made, even the stupid muttering.

Izuku groaned quietly in Katsuki's ear, "Kaachan, I have to go." Izuku reluctantly pulled Katsuki's face away.

Katsuki pouted, which was a rarity only Izuku got to see. "Yeah, yeah, I know. Stay safe okay? I don't want you coming back home cold and hurt, alright? Promise me that?" Katsuki said in a firm voice, looking Izuku dead in the eye.

"Yes Kaachan, I'll stay safe, promise." Izuku said, kissing Katsuki on the lips, tightening his hold on the ash blonde.

Katsuki happily returned the kiss, also tightening his grip on the smaller man, taking a chance to run his tongue on Izuku's bottom lip.

Izuku moaned again, this time deep and passionate, and it took all of Katsuki's self control (and trust in Katsuki, he had very little control over himself majority of the time) to not pin his adorable, and devourable boyfriend to the closed door of their apartment.

"Okay Kaachan, I actually have to go now." Izuku giggled.

With one last kiss, Katsuki reluctantly let Izuku go.

"Bye Kaachan!" Izuku said brightly with a wave.

"Later nerd, stay safe!" Katsuki said as he turned from his place in the doorway to move into the apartment after Izuku turned away.

Closing the door behind him, he was immediately hit with a weight in his legs, which knocked him down onto his ass.

Now, Grey might not be as big as most huskies, but when he pounced up on Izuku (the first time Katsuki saw the dog do that, not gonna lie, he almost had a heart attack because he thought the dog was going to knock him down on his head despite Izuku's strength) he looked pretty big. He could put his paws on Izuku's shoulders for fucks sake.

But when he pounced onto Katsuki, which was a rarity in itself, he didn't seem as big. Although, to be fair, Katsuki had a bit of height on Izuku, despite his boyfriend gaining some height throughout the years.

So there he was, sprawled out on the ground in the doorway, with a surprisingly heavy husky on his chest.

"Holy fuck dog, get off." Katsuki grunted, but the comment didn't have that much bite to it, and he actually snorted in amusement when Grey licked his face.

He gently pushed him off when he attempted to lick the inside of his mouth though, that's just nasty.

"OK, okay. Izuku has left me 'n you alone for the day, so we're gonna have to make this work alright." Katsuki said, looking down at the dog, who was now sitting patiently in front of him.

"Now this past week with you around has been pretty hectic, and I know I might not be your biggest fan, but we're gonna have to learn how to get along, considering Deku's probably not gonna want to let you leave." The dog's tail wagged a little at that.

In reality though, the dog had already warmed up to him, it was Katsuki who needed to learn how to get along with Grey.

And when Katsuki said the past week had been hectic, he wasn't saying that for shits and giggles, it had been hard to adjust with Grey around. He hadn't been around pets for a long time and even then it was still hard for Katsuki to adjust actually having a pet again.

The last and only pet Katsuki had had was when he was in middle school, he was almost certain that Izuku didn't even remember her.

Ember. Her name was Ember and she was probably the greatest cat to ever walk this fucking earth. His mother pissed her off but she loved the old hag anyways, she was a killer, bringing in dead rats and birds on a regular basis. But despite her explosive personality that resembled Katsuki so closely it could be considered suspicious, she was also a loving cat. She was there whenever Katsuki was upset, and he used to confide in her all the time when he was a little kid, especially during the dark and regrettable time period that was middle school.

He didn't get all sappy and emotional about, well, almost anything. But one day she just...disappeared. He wasn't an emotional person, and he didn't really let anything slip through his bad ass facade unless he trusted the people he was with, if anyone was around.

But when Ember disappeared, something snapped. Screwing up his friendship with Izuku was bad enough, the worst thing he'd ever gone through in his life, he basically lost him for a good few years until he got his shit together, but losing Ember-

It was the first time he had ever experienced a major death, or at the very least, major loss.

He was colder after that and even though he developed into the person he is today, that weight of loss Ember left behind was never lifted from his conscious. He felt guilty for her disappearance when it happened which was why he was so hesitant to rebuild his relationship with Izuku, he felt as if everything he touched he tainted and destroyed.

He wouldn't live with himself if he destroyed anyone close to him, especially if it was Izuku.

He didn't know if it was stupid to be upset over a fucking cat, but shit, he fucking loved that cat so drag him to hell if it was.

That was the main reason why, in his earlier days, he tried not to get too emotionally attached to things, afraid that if he did, that it would be torn from him quicker than he could blink. Of course, the people he had the guts to call his friends, his family, and alongside his amazing boyfriend, pulled him out of that belief...sorta. There was just one thing that he hadn't changed his mind about due to Ember's disappearance. It was why he made it indirectly clear he didn't like having pets.

He couldn't go through that emotional pain again.

Although, he hadn't been very welcoming towards Grey, he hated to admit it, but he knew he was being obvious about and unfortunately for him, he knew Izuku wasn't very happy about that.

Maybe, it was finally time to do what those cheesy movies, heroes and English scholars were always telling you to do.

Let go of back then and grab on to the now.

"Wanna go for a walk dog?"

They pair had been walking for about 20 minutes through the suburbs that were practically deserted. Katsuki thought, judging by how excitable Grey was, that he would've been pulling Katsuki along by the leash and stopping every 5 seconds to sniff the ground. But to Katsuki's pleasant surprise, Grey did practically the opposite. Sure he stopped every now and then to sniff at the telephone poles they walked past, but he stay beside Katsuki for the duration of the walk.

They ended up at a park, that was pretty familiar to Katsuki. Just looking at the small playground, Katsuki could almost see the now faded memories playing out before him.

Him and Izuku playing on the monkey bars, running around and playing tag, many happy memories along with the one painful memory when Izuku broke his arm because Katsuki accidentally pushed him off the slide. Even though it was an accident, and nobody was mad at him, not even Izuku, the green eyed boy though it was cool to have broken his first bone at the time, Katsuki still held a lot of guilt from that moment.

The park, much like the route he and Grey took to get here, wasn't very crowded, a few kids running around and playing in the Sunday morning chill, a small family or two walking around, and the odd runner doing laps or just passing through to get to the city.

The explosive, ash blonde pulled the collar of his thick hoodie up the tiniest bit, and sat himself down on a bench chair, while Grey sunk down to his stomach by Katsuki's feet, smiling and panting.

Katsuki gave a small smile at that. He had never really taken into account Grey's side from all of this, he used to be a stray for gods sake. Katsuki didn't know how long Grey had been isolated like that, but he could only imagine how the dog was feeling to finally have a home; he was warm, fed, and deeply loved by many people already.

And that's, obviously, why Grey showed Izuku such special treatment, the dog probably felt grateful for Izuku practically saving his life.

That fact actually made Katsuki break out a soft and fond smile that was reserved for Izuku. That was just the type of person the greenette was, if there was opportunity to save someone, Izuku gladly threw his own well being away to do so. (That fact didn't make him smile, the green eyed man need some self-preservation, honestly.)

Sure, when Izuku walked in that morning with a husky, he was goddamn flabbergasted, because it's not everyday that your boyfriend walks into your apartment, of which they supposedly did not come home to the previous night, accompanied, by a dog, no less.

And looking at the grey and white fuzzball at his feet, it was as if his view was completely flipped on its head. It took him time, it's still taking him time, but he was finally starting to open up to the idea of keeping Grey around.

Because Izuku was right, he was almost always right.

They couldn't send him away.

The little shit was apart of their little family now.

And that might be another reason as to why it took Katsuki a little longer. He couldn't accept the fact that his two person family with Izuku was going to have to grow a little for this animal.

Yes. He got (and is very) territorial, possessive and very, very jealous over a dog.

But now, he was ready to fully welcome in the dog, not that he hadn't already.

"Mommy, mommy! Puppy! Puppy!" Katsuki heard.

He lifted his eyes from where they were previously watching Grey play with the little bugs crawling on the footpath, to see a little boy and his mother. He had a light, caramel brown mop of curls and bright hazel eyes, curious and completely filled with childish innocence. He was wearing (to Katsuki's pleasure) a Hero Deku jumper, jeans and bright red shoes.

Not the first Deku fan I've seen, Katsuki thought with a small smile.

The mother had darker chocolate brown hair, that was rather long and wavy and she had dark brown eyes instead. She was wearing a black oversized hoodie with a cat face on it, grey skinny jeans and black converse. They were almost carbon copies of each other, petite and soft but they looked to be a rather determined pair.

The the little kid couldn't have been any older than 5 and the mum looked to be in her mid twenties. They kinda reminded him of the Midoriya's, the little boy just reminded him so much of a little Izuku and the mother just radiating the same softness as his Auntie Inko.

"Zuka, don't point it's rude." The mum stuttered, a blush creeping onto her face out of pure embarrassment

Katsuki smiled in amsument as the kid slowly put his hand down, mirroring his mother's embarrassed expression.

"It's okay, you can pat him if you want." Katsuki offered to the kid.

The boy's eyes lit up in excitement and he looked at his mum, as if he was seeking permission. The mother looked at Katsuki with a lopsided smile then said to the boy, "If the man says it's okay, then go ahead, but be gentle!" She said softly.

The boy walked up to Grey and pet him gently and Grey leaned into the touch with what looked like a smile, loving the attention.

"He's adorable, what's his name?" The mother asked politely sitting herself at a considerably polite and friendly distance from Katsuki.

"His name's Grey, my boyfriend chose his name." Katsuki answered with a smile.

"Aww that's such a cute name for a dog, you boyfriend has good taste." She said with a genuine smile.

"Yeah, he does." Katsuki replied.

"My name's Mekafutaka Yoshino, people call me Meka for short though, and my son's name is Zukamiku." She introduced, putting her hand out to shake.

Katsuki thought it was okay to reveal his name to her, he had a good enough disguise and they didn't seem to recognise them so he was in the clear.

"Katsuki Bakugou, you've gotta goddamn long name" He said with a chuckle, shaking her hand, and you you wouldn't think that she would have a pretty firm handshake if you saw her.

"Yeah, a get that a lot." She said with a gentle laugh. "You from around this area?" She asked.

"Yeah, mine and my boyfriend's 2LDK is just a couple blocks away from here." He replied.

"Aww nice, are you in Kaito Sato's apartment complex by any chance?"

"Yeah actually, you live in that one too?" He asked.

"Yeah, me and this little brat," Zukamiku stuck his tongue out at her playfully and his mother did the same thing with a giggle before continuing, "have a 2LDK on the 4th floor."

Katsuki was surprised that he met someone new that could possibly be a new friend. He mentally thanked Izuku for helping him a little in the social department, because despite himself, Izuku had taught him to be less hostile towards strangers, especially during hero work.

"No partner? Sorry if that's invasive or anything." Katsuki asked her.

"Nup, the useless piece of shit dropped me and Zuka when he found out I was going to keep my baby. It was best decision of my life, and even though it hurts that he left, I'm glad that the fucker's gone." She said gently, her voice low as to keep her son from hearing while he played around with Grey, but her voice carried bite to show her distaste in the guy she was referring to and the swearing only impressed him as they had something in common it seemed.

"What a dickbag." Katsuki exclaimed, genuinely feeling sorry for the poor girl.

"It's way better without him." She stood up and brushed herself off and held her hand out for her son to take. "Cmon Zuzu, we better finish our walk, say goodbye to Grey." She called out to her son.

"Aww, okay, bye bye Grey." The boy pouted giving Grey one last little pat. "Thank you for letting play with your dog mister." The boy gave Katsuki a heart warming and polite grin.

"No problem kid." Katsuki said, giving the kid his own small, polite smile.

"Maybe we'll see you around sometime, and maybe we can meet that boyfriend of yours?" She said smiling the same smile her son possessed, it seems like that kid, thankfully, inherited everything from his mum.

"Yeah, I'm sure he would love to meet you and add some new friends to the 'family.'" He said, knowing fully well that Izuku would be very happy to meet new people.

"Awesome pawsome. It was nice to meet you Bakugou, have a nice day." She said with a wave, giving Grey a small pat, and the pair were off.

Katsuki also rose from his spot on the bench seat and looked down at Grey, who was now standing and wagging his tail.

"Let's head home Fuzzball." Katsuki said to the dog.

And they began their start for home, the morning breeze nipping at their forms, blanketing them in a calm state as they moved forward together.

"I'm home Kaachan!" Izuku called out. He could hear the sound of the TV being paused, and as he walked into the living room he was blessed with the sight of Kaachan on the floor in a tank and sweats (Which was always going to be a sight he'd cherish) video game controller in hand with his arms propped up on his bent up knees in a casual position.

But that's not what made his heart melt. What made his heart melt was that Grey was curled up on the couch behind Kaachan, which he was resting his back on the foot of, and Kaachan's head was resting in Grey's fur as the dog slept.

"Hey, how was work, you stay outta trouble?" Kaachan said as Izuku sat next to him on his knees and kissed him.

"Define staying out of trouble." Izuku said with a playful smirk.

"Deku..." Katsuki groaned with a playful glare.

"I'm just kidding, everything with went fine, I was patrolling with Kiri and and Mina today, so everything went perfectly fine."

"I know just making sure." Kaachan said as he cupped Izuku's face and kissed him deeply again, conveying his compassion and love for Izuku through his kisses and cuddles.

"I made Katsu chicken and it's in the oven staying warm, so you go clean yourself up and it'll be ready when you are." Katsuki said gently after being satisfied with his onslaught on Izuku's lips.

"Mkay Kaachan, you're the best." Izuku said, giving him a few more soft kisses.

At that moment, Grey decided to make his presence known to the lovesick couple and licked both of their faces, pushing himself between the two men and giving them both his own form of affection.

Izuku obviously began giggling like a maniac as Grey pounced on the pair and knocked them down the ground, but he wasn't expecting Kaachan to start laughing too.

The three of them were all lying on the ground together, Izuku's limbs tangled with Kaachan as he cuddled him, Kaachan's arm around him and Grey half lying on top of them, half not. It was comfortable, it felt like home, heart warming.

"You seem to have warmed up to him." Izuku said with a smile.

"Yeah, I'm sorry it took me so fucking long." Kaachan said quietly, burying his face into Izuku's fluffy curls.

"Don't be sorry Kaachan, a new addition can be a lot to get used to, especially on short notice."

"Yeah but it's not just that Grey came out of the blue it's-" Kaachan hesitated for a moment, "Do you remember Ember? She was my cat that I had in middle school." Kaachan asked, slightly muffled as he was breathing in Izuku's calming scent from is hair.

"No? We weren't exactly on friendly speaking terms in middle school Kaachan." Izuku said, looking up at the blonde.

"Yeah, I'm still so sorry about how much of a dick I was back then...but well, I really, really loved that fucking cat. After I lost you as my best friend and shit because I was a prideful idiot, I confided in her a lot, she became my best friend after I lost you. But one day she was just...gone. I'd never dealt with death before that, it was a lot to take in. It was fucking hard." Kaachan said softly, sounding on the brink of tears.

Izuku cuddled him closer, nuzzling his nose into his chest. "It's okay to be sad Kaachan, I can't imagine how you would've felt during that."

"It was the main reason why it took me this long to open up to the idea of keeping Grey around, I had built this fucking idea in my head that if I got emotionally attached the same shit would happen. But I've thankfully grown up since then so, I thought it was time to finally let her go." Kaachan said, looking at Izuku with his gorgeous red eyes that the greenette loved.

Izuku also looked at his Kaachan, looking up at him through his eyelashes flashing him his big, reflective green eyes. "I love you Kaachan, I love you so much." He said with a small kiss to Kaachan's jaw.

"I love you too nerd." Kaachan said, moving his head down the slightest bit to kiss Izuku on the lips tenderly.

Grey came up and interrupted their moment by licking their chins and the couple laughed together as they looked at their dog.

"Love you too Fuzzball." Kaachan said with a playful smirk, scratching the good spot behind Grey's ear.

"A nickname for him too? Jeez you really are a softie Kaachan."

"Shut up Deku." Kaachan chuckled, his comment having no bite. "By the way, he's learnt too much from you already you shitty nerd."

"What's that supposed to mean?" Izuku said with a giggle.

"He does those same puppy eyes that you do, you know that puppy look you do is actually gonna kill me on day you cute shit." Kaachan said poking Izuku's sides, making him laugh in a pure way that made Katsuki think, 'Wow, this little shit is really mine.'

As Izuku reluctantly got up to clean himself up along with his gear, Katsuki stayed down as Grey came and sat himself in between his bent and open legs, putting his paws on the blonde's chest.

Grey licked his face playfully and Katsuki chuckled, patting the dog affectionately.

Yeah, having Grey in their little family was just fine by him.

AN: So was it okay? I absolutely love this paring, they just own my heart.

I'm sorry if the characters, especially Bakugou are OOC qwq

Anyways, I'm actually rather happy with how this turned out, and we hit a new record! 7k is a new one for us people!

And also, I made a little cameo. (kinda) Meka, is a character made of a different Japanese suffixes translated from the English alphabet to spell Kayla, and Zuka is Jace in English (just google what's your Japanese name, go to images and you should be able to find what I'm talking about, you can even make your own name!)

Kayla isn't my real name, it's close to my real name and I sign off with 'Kay', so I'm using Kayla as an alias name. If I end up writing more BHNA content, I might make her out to be a little sister figure to our favourite UA students! I'm going to be using this Kayla character a lot! She's like my little Stan Lee cameo uwu And her little sob story with her trash bag of an ex isn't based off anything I've gone through, so no need to cock your head at that. And Jace is just my little fictional son I made up on the spot, he might make future appearances in my other works, but for now his only purpose was to appear in this story!

I hope you enjoyed this, feel free to leave a favourite/follow/review, feedback is much appreciated!

Thank you so much, and stay safe!
