Time in high school had pasted by so quickly and Takeo was sure he'd just entered a kid and came out as a man. It was pretty easy to get a job after graduation. He decided to open his own restaurant since that ended up being his second love to no one's surprise. It was just plain food stand for now, but one day it could be something big with hard work. He earned at lot of money from it, and helped his mom pay the bills sometimes. The thing he was really striving for was to save up to buy a place for him and Yamato.

Yamato supported Takeo in whatever he chose. He loved her for that. They stayed together even after graduation. Everything was in place for them until Yamato decided she wanted to go off to college. It was a hard thing to be away from her for so long, but she always made trips to see him whenever holidays came or she got days out of school. He always had Suna there with him to help out though.

They were currently at the stand selling hot and ready lo-mein noodles. The crowd of people were making there way for the lunch time rush. Suna was making sure they would be ready for it when it came. Takeo looked at his phone, scratching his he when he noticed Yamato hadn't called yet that day. She usually called before he got too busy in the food rush.

"Suna, do you think something may be wrong? She hasn't called or texted me all day." Takeo asked, a little bit worried.

Suna placed the pot on the stove, oiling it up before dropping in the noodles.

"College is a pain in the butt. There is a lot of working in it you know?"

"You're right." Takeo glanced at his phone once more, hoping that he'd be get a called soon. He always wondered if she'd found someone else while she was at university. They'd been together since high school and he was sure she had a variety of guys looking her way often. She was so beautiful, he couldn't see that not happening to her. A lot of couples break up from the mere distance and strain of it, yet they stayed together. Besides, she only had a few more terms then she was all his forever.

"What are you worried about, Takeo." Suna stated as if reading his best friend's mind.

"You never have to worry about stuff in your relationship." Takeo said. Suna rolled his eyes at his friend. He'd began dating a little while after high school, finding out he liked older women.

"That's because they already have their shit figured out. Yua went off to university just after high school and got a degree in business. It helped her to be where she is today." Suna reminisced at the catch he'd made with her. She was only six years older than him, but she understood him so well. He'd come to love her the few months they'd been together. They were good friend before, afraid to admit their feelings to one another in the past.

"I wish I had it figured out." Takeo pouted.

"It takes time. Everything will fall into place as you go. You remember when you were trying to get this restaurant up and running? It was very hard but it happened eventually." Suna shrugged calmly.

"I'm worried she's found someone else." Takeo finally blurted out before he was too afraid to admit it. Suna turned around, looking at him seriously now.

"She wouldn't do that to you." He said in a serious tone. "She knows how important your relationship is. She wouldn't risk hurting you."

Takeo knew that Suna was right. The thoughts were so hard to keep from his mind even when he tried. Being away from the one you love was so hard. He always wanted to beg her to stay forever when she came to visit, but he'd promised himself he would never hold her back. He loved that she was so smart and could do things the he could only dream of doing in his lifetime.

"How about we grab a beer or two after we close up today. We can talk more about it later." Suna stated, noticing the line of people growing. Takeo thankfully agreed, knowing they wouldn't have a chance to talk, let alone breath, until today's service was over.

They cleaned up and grabbed a few beers from the store just off the corner of the stand. Suna opened the door to his place, the smell of a freshly cooked meal beckoned them inside. Suna smiled at the view of Yua setting the food out on the table as they stepped inside.

"Rough day I'm guessing?" She said, nearly laughing at the two of them look more disorganized than she'd seen before.

"Yeah, the people just kept coming." Takeo answered, ducking to get through the short doorframe.

"I wanted to surprise you before I headed off to work myself." Yua said, heading to greet Suna with a kiss on the cheek. It made him blush as if it were the first time she'd done it before.

"Thank you." Takeo said back, quickly making his way to the food laid out at the table.

"I'll see you this weekend Suna. I have a busy schedule this week. Love ya." Yua said, before hugging him goodbye and taking her leave.

Suna let out a deep sigh at the sight of her leaving. This was the only problem he had with dating her, she put her work before him. She'd always been independent before they began dating, hell, he loved that about her. But sometimes he wished that she'd just leave time for him. They hadn't been intimate in forever it seemed and it was straining their relationship. But he could only see himself with her now, so he held on, no matter how much it beat him up inside. Suna sat the beers down on the table, popping one open.

"Aren't you going to eat?" Takeo asked with his mouthful. It made Suna laugh at how much he hadn't changed since high school.

"No, I'm no that hungry, You can have mine." Suna said, pushing his down over to him. He waited for Takeo to finished before he spoke again.

"So what's going on?" Suna asked. Takeo let out a burp before popping open a beer for himself.

"She's just been ignoring me it seems like. I don't know what I've done wrong." Takeo began. He continued speaking as Suna listened intently. "She told me the last time she was her that she wanted to... you know, but I don't want to force her into anything so I said no."

"Mhm." Suna said as if he was analyzing everything he'd said. "Have you ever thought about it from her point of view?"

"What do you mean?" Takeo placed the beer down on the table, looking utterly confused.

"She may be feeling the same way you're feeling. You guys have been together almost five years. I'm pretty sure she knows what she wants by now. Sex is all emotions for women. You know, it makes you closer to each other in a way that I can't explain. She may think you've given that part of you to someone else."

"I'd never do that to Ms. Yamato!" Takeo bolted out of his seat, almost knocking the table over in his haste. Suna stayed calm, sipping on his beer. He was use to his friend's behavior by now.

"I know that, but she has most likely been missing you too." Suna replied. Takeo settled down at the thought of that.

"I never thought of it that way." He scratched his head.

"I'm not telling you what to do with you relationship, you've had a longer one than I've ever had. But sometimes you have to get out of your comfort zone." Suna stated, popping open another beer.

Takeo sat there in thought for a minute. It was true, he was much more comfortable with the innocent love they'd had for one another. He was afraid to hurt her when it all came to it. She'd grown into a woman now, and it damn near drove him insane, but she was so delicate to him. Her breasts were full and the tops she wore left a lot less for him to wonder about. They fooled around a bit before, but never to the extent where she was fully naked in front of him.

"I'm surprise the sexual tension hasn't drove you crazy already." Suna suddenly said. Takeo turned beet red from the subject, making Suna laugh. The to men spoke until Takeo decided it was getting too late. The said there goodbyes before he made his way home.

Takeo made his way home after a short time, notiving that everyone was already asleep. His little sister made sure to keep his parents on their toes. She was so active and silly, he could barely keep up with her himself. He quietly made his way up the stairs to his bedroom before stripping into his boxers. His bed groaned as he settled into it. He was more than sure he'd drunk a bit more than he should have as he stared up at the ceiling in front of him, thinking about Yamato. He nearly drifted off to sleep, but was surprised by the sound of his phone ringing. Takeo could feel his heart race when he realized it was Yamato. He answered quickly.

"I'm sorry I didn't answer your call. I went out with some friends tonight to go shopping." Yamato said worried he'd be upset.

"It's okay. I'm just happy to finally hear you voice." They both let out a sigh of relief at that. They sat in silence for a while before Yamato broke it.

"I can't wait to see you soon. I miss you so much I can't explain it." She stated. He could tell she was smiling.

"I miss you more." Takeo said. he was debating if he should bring up what he and Suna spoke about that night. He contemplated with himself before deciding against it, too nervous to bring it up. They both enjoyed their conversation with one another until they feel asleep together on the phone, neither of them willing to hang up first.

Takeo was awakened by little hands slapping at his face. He knew exactly who it was. He smiled before quickly grabbing his little sister and throwing her up into the air. She laughed before he cuddled her close to him, kissing her head.

"Mom said it's breakfast time." Maki explained. "She cooked the good stuff today."

"Oh really?" Takeo asked, raising his eyebrows. "The tickle most only get full off of tickles."

Takeo began to tickle his sister relentlessly until he heard his mother call for them. He placed on some joggers before carrying her downstairs with him. He'd still refused to let her go down the stairs alone, remembering the time that she'd almost fell as a toddler. It still made him nervous to see her go down them on her own.

"She's more than capable of getting down the stairs herself." His mom stated.

"Not as long a I'm here." Takeo declared.

He placed Maki at the table before he sat down.

"You got in late last night." His mother stated, taking a sip on tea.

"Yeah, me and Suna decided to hangout a bit after work."

He could see his mother's mood lighten when she heard that he was with Suna. She always worried about him like he was still a kid, even though he would be more than capable of taking care of himself if they need arose.

"He's still with that woman Yua?" She suddenly asked. She worried about Suna just as much as she worried about Takeo. He was like son to her after all.

"Yeah. She really nice too." Takeo spoke with his mouthful.

"Maybe she'll be the one this time. He's been dating like crazy since he's gotten out of school."

Takeo shrugged. He never know what Suna was thinking when it came to women. He was more knowledgeable about that stuff than he. Suna had been a bit of player after school ended. Preferring to play the field until he found the right woman. Everything was about Yua these days.

"What would you expect, honey. He's a man after all." Takeo heard his father state as his fixed his tie, tidying himself up for work. They spoke about Suna a while before changing the subject to Takeo's love life.

"Yamato will be visiting soon, right?" His mother asked.

"Yeah, next Friday actually. I can't wait to see her." He admitted, not attempting to hide the excitement in his voice.

"Good. Me and you father will make sure we plan a date night then."

"Why?" Takeo asked mid chew, confused.

"Well son, when a man loves a woman they eventually end up taking things to the next level. Sex is..." His father began, but Takeo interrupted him quickly.

"NO!" Takeo refused to let them dabble on the subject. "We just like seeing each other."

"Sure, but I don't want to be here if it happens." His mother replied, grinning at her son's reaction to the subject.

Takeo refused to speak on the subject and enjoyed his breakfast before heading off to open up shop. Suna had already made it there, warming up the grills ahead of schedule. He always seemed to beat Takeo in the mornings. They would probably never open up on time if it wasn't for Suna. Takeo eventually made his way inside, getting ready for the day. He was setting up the dishes when he heard an all too familiar voice.

"Hey Takeo."

Takeo turned around to see Yamato standing there in front of the stand.
