It was a bright and beautiful day: the sun was out, the sky was clear, the Pokémon were playing in the fields and the group of travelers were laughing as they sat on a bench together. On the left end was Bonnie, a bright and bubbly 10 year old; the left middle, Serena, a beautiful and energetic 17 year old; the right hand middle, Ash, a good looking and strong 17 year old, and then on the right hand ends, Clemont, a nerdy and shy 16 year old. They were all talking and laughing about random things until Serena began to mention crushes.
"You got any Ash?" She asked casually, but the siblings (Clemont and Bonnie) knew that she was hoping for a particular answer. The raven haired boy grinned and exclaimed; "You bet! I doubt they feel the same way..." Serena smiled warmly and said quietly: "Come on Ash! Please?" At this, Clemont got up and walked away from them, saying quietly: "I'm going to make tea now..." and with that, disappeared from view. Bonnie looked suspicious but didn't bring it up as Ash revealed:
"My crush is a super strong trainer, really cool, awesome, friendly, a good cook, really pretty, really smart, talented, and one of my best friends! They've always been there for me, and I feel like I love them! The thing is, I can't pick up on hints very well..."
"No kidding..." Serena and Bonnie muttered in unison as Ash continued:
"...so that makes it hard to find out if they like me back, or if I'm accidentally giving my crush away!" Serena blushed and said: "I'm good at detecting hints - tell me who it is and I'll keep my eyes out!" Bonnie had to admit; the brunette's plan was impressive!
Ash looked at her and whispered a name in her ear - Serena went a ghostly shade of pale and whispers hoarsely: "A-are you sure?!" Ash nodded and she ran off crying.
"What was that about?" Ash asked Bonnie who promptly facepalmed.
Meanwhile, Clemont was looking after Luxray when a very angry Serena ran up to him and pinned him to the ground, hissing in his ear: "Did you know about Ash?! TELL ME CLEMONT! DID YOU KNOW?!" The scientist looked shocked and yelled shook:
"What are you on about?!" Serena panted before telling: "Ash is gay: DID YOU KNOW?!" Clemont hastily shook his head and Serena relaxed a bit, asking him: "Are YOU gay?!" Clemont went bright red and didn't respond; Serena kept on asking him the same question until he nodded through tears. The brunette glared and said: "Wrong answer. Don't let Ash know, whatever happens." Clemont glared at her and said:
"Well - I'd like to know why."
"Because." Serena threatened. "I don't think Bonnie would be happy if you shattered her heart by saying you DON'T want a wife! She'd be decestated! And WHAT would your father think?! I think it's best for you if you, erm, keep your story straight."
The scientist looked mortified as he whispered: "You wouldn't dare..." Serena smiled and shook her head, saying:
"If there's one good thing I learned from Miette, it's ALWAYS have the guts to go all in." Clemont looked away as she climbed off him and smiled, saying happily: "See you at dinner!" And with that, Clemont began to cry.
