It's definitely not something I'm used to writing but I figured I'd give it a go, wanted to post just to see if it get any interest ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Chapter 1

I was tapping furiously on my controller trying to get the kill but I should have figured I'd get knifed from behind, even then I ended up slamming the controller on the sofa while I exclaimed a big Fuck You! at my best friend who was laughing his ass off beside me. Like I seriously can't understand how this kid can be so good at this stupid game, wait I take that back. You'd figure someone like Thomas, the son of a founding member of a huge motorcycle club who's whole fucking family is invested in the club, would share the passion. Thomas ain't that type of guy and he'd much rather take photos of Harley than ride around on them, not to mention he plays more video games then he sleeps. I'm on the other hand love Harleys but I share his deep passion for video games, I'm just not good at them.

The bedroom door suddenly creaked open and the both of us turned towards it just as Thomas' mother, Gemma rolled her eyes at us as she realized we were once again stuck in front of the screen rather then doing something useful, ''Dinner's ready in fifteen, afterward you've both got dishes tonight.''

''Mom, seriously?'' Thomas whined as he slumped back against the mattress of his bed, his blue eyes giving her the puppy look which we all knew would never work. She's just not that kind of mom.

She merely blew him a kiss before she closed the door, I snorted before I turned back to the game quickly starting it up hoping he wouldn't notice. He did and I was once again killed in less second than I'm comfortable to announce, he's too much of a beast. Even though I hate him most of the time, Thomas is my best friend since we were in diapers. I've loved the kid more than my own parents, he's just special.

My family situation isn't what you'd call, ideal for a fifteen-year-old. It used to be fantastic until my mom passed away last summer, her death really broke that bubble of perfect. My dad hasn't been in the picture for several years as he practically disowned me the second my mom announced she was pregnant, the only reason he's taken me in now is that the papers say he's my father and it would look bad if he sent me to foster care. That's why for both of sanity I've been spending most days over at the Tellers' house and so far I haven't been thrown out, although Thomas's brother and his friend once threw me over the fence.

The familiar clicking of a camera caught me off guard and I turned towards Thomas who the whole face was covered by the camera which was pointed at my own face, a huge pearly white grin on his face as he snapped another picture. I rolled my eyes, pushing him over before I leaned over to grab the camera from his grasp. The gallery was filled with random pictures of our days, snippets of images that could easily be retracted. I snorted as I noticed a few pictures of Sarah posing like those models in the magazines, she's lucky Thomas is such a good photographer because that girl ain't really that good looking.

''I took some of you last week at the glade, thought they came out pretty good,'' Thomas said as he'd shifted around so that he was laid with his head at the end of the bed, still with that derpy smile on his lips.

I shifted through a few more photos until I came to the ones he'd mentioned and yea they were good, he even made my jump look three times higher than it actually was. It was weird seeing myself from someone else's perspective but holy shit did my bluish-black angel of dirtbike look good in that light.

''I want this on my wall,'' I said as I handed him the camera, he took it and instantly huffed. It was such a typical me thing wanting a good picture of my angel, still, I didn't care and I knew he'd get it for me.

Pushing himself off of the bed, I watched him move over to his desk where he started up his computer. It always amazed me how he someone always afforded the newest technology but then I've never known someone who works quite as hard as he does, I know he's been doing some work for the MC too as he's the only one with some remote knowledge of a computer.

I'd be lying if I said I know nothing about the MC that Thomas's father founded with a bunch of other war veterans, everyone in town would be if they said the same. The Sons of Anarchy have been in Charming for as long as I've existed and yea even though they're said to be just some motorcycle loving men doing charity runs, everyone knows they're involved in some ugly shit. I'd seen them come home coated in blood, seen the injuries they'd sustained from bullets. It's no secret but it's also something no one mentions, it's just how it is and people have learned to live with it.

''It's been fifteen,'' Thomas noted as he slapped my chest making me flinch, I hadn't even noticed him moving away from the computer. I glared at him and quickly pushed myself off of the bed, he was making a run for it before I'd reached the doorway.

I chased him down the stairs and laughed as he stumbled down the last one, crashing into the sofa. It was enough for me to catch up and I air-tackled him as I jumped the three last steps, he let out a very not manly yelp as the both of us toppled over the backrest. The glass table let out a terrifying sound as both our feet slammed into it, only our upper bodies getting cushioned by the sofa. I was laughing so hard my stomach ached, Thomas pushed himself away from me as he detangled out feet.

''What the hell's going on!?'' Gemma exclaimed only fueling both of us as we continued to laugh, I could hear him trying to make something out but it was hard to understand through all the laughter.

Trying to calm myself down, I saw him pointing towards our feet and as I looked I realized that the terrible sound I'd heard before was from the shattered glass table. Our legs were full of glass and somehow it only made it all the funnier, I even got a cut on my exposed ankle.

The front door opened with a rattle followed by Jackson, Thomas's older brother calling out that he was home. He's six years older than me and Thomas but he's like the funniest big brother, he's practically been like my own big brother and he's been in my life for as long as I can remember.

''Holy shit,'' I heard him say as he took in the mess the two of us had managed to make, even though a huge grin was on his face as I looked at him.

Behind him was Opie, Jaxs' best bud since birth. I and Thomas is the kind of the younger version of both of them and as they did we've started prospecting together. The big twenty-one-year-old snorted at the mess as he walked over to Gemma to greet her with a peck, she returned it but her focus was on her youngest and I. Her arms folded in front of her chest as she pinned us with a stern glare, I finally calmed myself enough to carefully brush some of the glass splatters off my pants.

''Shit one's stuck in your leg!'' Thomas said before he fell into another fit of laughter, I rolled my eyes as I moved my leg closer towards him so that he could remove the piece from my leg. It hurt like hell because he was trembling from all the laughter and actually managed to push it in deeper before he finally got a grasp on it, quickly tugging it out before holding it up while laughing at the sheer size of it.

Taking it from him, I couldn't hold back my own laughter as I looked at it and realized it was like the size of my thumbnail. I sniveled from the laughter as I looked down at my leg, ''I- is that the only one?''

''Yea,'' Thomas confirmed as he started to unbuckle his belt so that he could remove his jeans, they were awfully shiny it only made me laugh harder as I worked on unbuttoning my own pants.

''Don't walk around there or you'll get glass all over your feet,'' Gemma reprimanded as she came over with a broom and a bag, carefully taking the pants from us and put them in the bag.

Looking down I wasn't sure how the hell we would be able to step away without stepping on glass, my answer coming as I heard the glass shatter under shoes and two strong arms wrapped around my chest before I was heaved from the floor. I didn't fight it and I was suddenly airborne as the person threw me towards the stairs, it was by sheer luck that I managed to land on my feet as I gripped the railing. I turned to watch as Jax moved over to Thomas and did the same thing to him, making sure to throw him a good two feet. I caught him and both of us hurried back up the stairs to grab a new pair of pants, the mess totally is forgotten.

...

It only took us a few minutes to make it back downstairs and by then Gemma had already made Jackson and Opie help her out with the mess, the three of them seated by the table waiting for us to arrive. I sat down next to Thomas and laughed as Gemma gave the both of us yet another stern look before telling all of us to start eating, Jax and Opie quickly snatching the spatulas so they could fill their plates first.

''Where's Clay?'' Thomas asked as he was shoving chicken into his mouth, I've always wondered how such a good-looking guy can have such bad table manners. Oh yea, Clay's Gemmas' new husband which she married quite shortly after the passing of Thomas and Jax' real father was hit by a semi-truck and died a few years ago.

Chewing and making sure to swallow, Gemma took her time to sip on her water before looking at her youngest son, ''Club business, he'll be home later than expected and chew your mouth before speaking.''

''Yeah man you're disgusting,'' I joked as I threw tomatoes onto his plates, he countered by chewing real big in my face causing me to fake gag but for real though that's freaking disgusting. I punched him in the arm and he finally quit it, ''If the girls knew you're such a nasty chewer they'd stop dreaming about you.''

''Speaking of girls,'' Gemma cut off our banter as she turned towards her oldest son, using her fork to point at him, ''How're things going with that Julie girl?''

We all knew what was up with the Julie girl, it's a small fucking town so whenever something happens everyone finds out about it. Julie Delcambre is one of those types of things that just catch everyone's attention, a girl who's been hanging around the club trying to get it going with Jackson for weeks now. Suddenly rumors break out about her being the sister of some deputy working for the LAPD, a deputy who recently got transferred to Charming.

''I'm working on it,'' Jax said simply trying not to go in-depth but we all knew it wouldn't be enough for Gemma, the queen bee of SAMCRO was known to be in control of everything that's going on in the club.

''Apparently, the deputy guy's a biker fan,'' I supplied before glancing at Thomas who nodded in agreement, Jax glared at me but Gemmas' expression turned much more pleasant indicating for me to go on, ''I mean he's driving a Knucklehead, they ain't cheap on the market.''

''Maybe he stole it,'' Opie said and I figured by stole he meant he'd commandeered the car but never put it on record, so theft.

Waving it off, Jax finally seemed to give in to the topic, ''Nah man, I met him the other day and all he was going on about was my bike. It was hella weird.''

''You should be careful with that one, can never be too sure when dealing with the feds,'' Gemma said and we all silently agreed, the subject quickly changed and we enjoyed the rest of the dinner in a comfortable discussion.

...

After dinner I and Thomas headed outside, actually taking our time and making our way all the way to the park. That's a ten-minute walk but I swear it feels like an hour, neither of us is much of an outside person other than when I'm riding my dirtbike and force Thomas to go with me. The park is rather boring as all it has is a small playground and then a big grass field where people usually play with their dogs or have picnics with their significant other, I personally enjoy the monkey bars.

Reaching for the highest bar I easily pull myself up, the thin bar sticking into my bony ass as I sit down on it. Thomas is a few feet away with his camera snapping pictures of a crow, somehow it didn't seem bothered by his close proximity and posed by flapping its wings a few times. A man was shouting in the distance and I looked towards him seeing him chase after a huge boxer dog that was running straight at Thomas, going by the happy look on its face I wasn't worried it was going to kill my best friend and simply laughed as it jumped him from behind making him yelp. It was funny how he was desperately trying to save his camera all while being ecstatic over the dog, Thomas loves dogs.

''I'm really sorry, Sammy's a huge goof,'' the man huffed as he finally catshed up, quickly leaning down to clasp the leash to the dog's collar and seeing him up close I finally realized that it was that new deputy we'd been talking about during dinner.

Standing up, Thomas brushed the dirt from his now stained jeans and looked over his camera to make sure it was all good. I jumped down from the monkey bars and made my way over just as Thomas focused on the man, ''Nah it's alright, you're that new deputy aren't you?''

''See news spread fast in this town, Jeffrey Delcambre,'' the man, I mean Jeffrey said as he held out his hand towards Thomas who took it and shook. I'm amazed just how polite and friendly Thomas can act even when faced by a cop, it's a skill I'll never master.

''I'm Thomas and this geek's Barry,'' Thomas introduced while pointing his thumb at me, I just gave a curt nod not really knowing what to say. Ever since I moved in with my dad I've become a huge wimp when it comes to any person who holds authority, the biggest reason why I often leave whenever Clay comes to the house.

''Let me guess, a Teller?'' Jeffrey asked making me the more suspicious that this man already knows all about us, I haven't even been able to stay under the radar since I'm so close to the Tellers and that not even my last name.

A knowing smile crossed Thomas's lips and I knew he'd caught on to the same thing I had, his hand instantly lowered to his side. He was about to answer when a familiar car turned into the parking lot, my hand instantly reached for Thomas. He looked at me and I gave a curt nod in the direction of the car, he saw it but it was already too late to make a run for it.

The man stepping out of the car was tall and pale with nicely styled hair and an expensive suit draping his broad-shoulders, I guess he would remind many of that Agent Smith guy from The Matrix movie that came out this year. At least his personality fits that of a movie villain, the fucking sadist bastard.

''Deputy Delcambre, welcome to Charming!'' my father said as a mean of greeting as he reached us, his smile broad as he took the deputies hand in a firm handshake.

The deputy probably having no clue he was speaking to a sadistic child beater mimicked my fathers' smile and added a small chuckle, ''The pleasantries are all mine, it's a wonderful town you've got here.''

''Yes indeed, a bit outdated in my opinion and seeing as it is practically ruled by a biker gang I would say there's still to be improved on,'' I knew he was poking at Thomas with that one, probably myself too. I could see Thomas shifting awkwardly beside me and to be honest, I didn't blame him, if my own father freaks me out I can't imagine what he does to others.

''I'm sure we'll be making some well-needed changes in the future,'' Jeffrey said in a pleasant tone which weirdly sounded not so sincere, I glanced at Thomas who's eyes were on my father so I wasn't sure if he'd noticed too. The dog barked and Jeffrey cleared his throat, ''I'd better get going, I'm to have dinner at my sisters' house at seven.''

My father simply bowed his head as he stepped aside to allow Jeffrey to pass us, his gaze stuck to the deputies back until he was far enough away to not have a reason to look back. Then he turned towards me and I felt my heart stop beating, even though he was simply looking I knew what he was thinking. Seeing me there in the park with a Teller kid could only put so many thoughts in my father's head and going by the hatred he held towards the club, I knew that none of the thoughts were any good.

''Get in the car,'' he simply said but I knew it was an order, his casual tone wasn't fooling me and neither was it fooling Thomas who suddenly gripped my wrist.

I looked towards him and could see the fear in his eyes, god I love this kid to bits. Even though I was scared I forced myself to smile, ''I'm alright, I'll see you tomorrow at work.''
