It was an unremarkable evening at the UA Academy dormitory.
A small, but not at all boring part of the 1-A class has accumulated in the living room on the ground floor.
Todoroki wearily staring at screen of his phone, with his free hand fingering Midoria's green hair, who rather comfortably settled his head on Todoroki's lap.
Jiro, sitting on the floor, was flipping through her favorite playlist on a battered, but beloved player, rewinding or leaving the track to play in the headphones, based on different types of the terribly tired Denki's cries.
Eijiro hung on the back of the sofa head down and may have been sleeping.
Ashido, no less tired, hung next to Kirishima in the same pose.
Katsuki shamelessly stared at Eijiro, thoughts about whom didn't allow him to sleep normally for more than a month. Symptoms are simple, and diagnosis is liying on the surface. He fell in love.
After a fifteen minutes of the universal heroic brain's load, Mina raised her head and sleepily examined the room.
"Maybe we'll play something?" Ashido slowly slipped from the couch to the floor, pulling her kigurumi sleeves in her palm.
"Only cards." Katsuki took out a deck of cards from his pocket and twisted it in his hands temptingly. "For money."
Eijiro and Mina rose lazily from their seats and moved closer to each other, seated in a semicircle around the sofa.
"Do you like gambling?" Todoroki looked up from the phone screen.
"What if I do?" The corner of Bakugo's lips slowly crawled up. "Afraid of losing to me?"
"No."
A mixture of grin and a gambling grin appeared on Katsuki's face.
"Give it out."
Behind the past a day, full of exhausting trainings and an endless amount of theory, after which everyone wanted some kind of unloading in order to relieve stress. That is why almost everyone agreed very soon. Only Jiro and Kaminari refused. More precisely, Jiro, bringing her sleepy boyfriend to his room and falling asleep, probably right there.
Todoroki stayed on the sofa to keep Midoria's dream, while Bakugo sat opposite. Eijiro and Mina sat on either side of Katsuki.
"I just warn you guys, beat Katsuki is unreal." Kirishima put his hands on the floor. "I was able to beat him just once, then we were drinking...I was sober, not him."
"By the way, what are we going to play?" Ashido looked inquiringly at Bakugo.
"Poker." Said Katsuki, not looking up from shuffling cards. "We can start."
Bakugo gave each of them five cards. Everyone immediately began to examine their cards, hoping to think through at least some kind of action plan.
Katsuki immediately discarded a card, taking a new one from the remaining deck. With a pretty grin, Bakugo called out to guys.
"Will there be offers to set limits or you have a lot of cash and time to play unlimited?"
"We play only 3 circles."
"Ok, Icy-hot. Shitty-hair, Alien?"
"My name's Mina!" Ashido crossed her arms over her chest.
"Not the point. Any suggestions for the limit, shitty-hair?"
"18,000 yen. Ok?"
Everyone nodded approvingly.
"Then we can continue our game. Alien, your move."
Mina looked at her cards in displeasure, then decided to discard one.
Ashido's face expressed complete despair, which pleased the rest of players.
"Icy-hot, your move."
Without hesitation, Todoroki made a bet.
"The bid is 1,700 yen. Mina, take it." Ashido took money from Shoto's hands and put it in the center.
Guys got money there too.
The gain was exactly 6,800 yen.
"Eiji...dammit, shitty-hair, it's your turn."
"It seemed to me, or did you want to call my name, Katsuki?" Kirishima smiled at all of his sharks 32.
Bakugo's heart seems to have stopped beating.
"Wh...what?! No, you idiot! Shut up and move already, shitty-hair!" Trying with all his might not to fall for his own feelings, bequeathed Bakugo.
"Someone screamed?"
Sleepy Midoria barely opened his emerald eyes and raised his head slightly.
"Izuku, sleep on." Todoroki gently smoothed the naughty green strands.
"Mmmm..." Midoria closed his eyes and muttered something. "Let's go better to the dorm..it's more comfortable to sleep there.." Izuku turned his head to Shoto.
"Come on." Todoroki got up from the sofa and, taking Midoria by his shoulders, led him to the stairs. "Consider I lost."
"Minus one player." Bakugo grinned. "Eijiro, your move."
"It's nice to hear my name from you." Kirishima directly glowed with happiness.
In response, Katsuki only turned away, taking his eyes away from the object of sighing.
Bakugo has long noticed this oddity. After many sleepless nights, Bakugo realized that he liked when it was Eigiro who came to the rescue his "victim". He liked the way Kirishima reassured him.
After all, Ejiro Kirishima is the only person of his kind who can calm Katsuki Bakugo. Without Krishima's quirk it was unreal, but when Bakugo was angry, it is better for the rest to take your feet in your hands and run away until Eijiro comes to rescue you, then we can say that Ejiro Kirishima was the only friend for Katsuki Bakugo.
Although he infuriated at times, even if he prevented people from being crippled, still, when the turn came to Kirishima, Bakugo restrained his anger so as not to hurt "shitty-hair" too much. Although, when Bakugo talked with other people, there was no question of any "keep yourself in control".
Katsuki didn't see anything remarkable in Eijiro. Or at least something that could see him among the rest. He also infuriated, molested, but something prevented Katsuki from "hating" Kirishima. It was as if an inner voice was awakening and Bakugo was afraid of it. He wasn't afraid of anything but this strange feeling, which makes him stop using his quirk, because then "will touch Eijiro."
"God, why am I taking care of his safety?!" Bakugo kept asking himself all the time, but still, time after time he stopped and allowed Kirishima to withdraw himself.
And Eijiro always reassured Bakugo.
After another fight, Kirishima could take Katsuki by his shoulders and lead him to an empty classroom, put him on a chair, sit next and listen to disgruntled grunts, look at Bakugo's still sparkling hands and agree with all the obscene insults addressed to their classmates. Soon, both hands will stop sparking, Katsuki'll stop grumbling, and breathing will suddenly become easier.
Kirishima will smile at 32, Bakugo'll throw something last, and both will go back to their rooms.
"Hey! Katsuki, hello!" Loud Krishima's voice pulled Bakugo out of thoughts.
"Did you raise the stake?"
"Yeah. 1,700 yen."
"Winning is 11,900 yen." Bakugo threw 1,700 yen into the center, where a pretty decent hill of coins and color notes had already accumulated.
Getting rid of the card, Katsuki began to carefully examine his new combination. Deciding to no longer try his luck, he raised his bet.
"2,000 yen. The gain is 17,900 yen."
Mina swallowed nervously, while Eijiro calmly took money from his pocket and supported the bet.
"We almost reached the limit .." Ashido carefully put her money in the center.
"Exactly." Bakugo grinned.
"I warned you, Mina."
Katsuki looked at guys's faces.
"The last lap."
For the last round, no one raised the bet to the limit.
It's time to open cards.
Mina shook her cards on the floor and announced:
"Two pairs."
One of the weakest combinations. Especially in the game with Bakugo.
Kirishima looked sympathetically at Ashido and opened his cards.
"Street flush."
Eijiro assembled a combination of successively lying cards: from 6 to 10.
Mina sighed in disappointment.
But at the last moment she remembered about Katsuki and decided to leave at least a little hope that she could beat him.
But she apparently forgot who she was playing with.
Katsuki revealed the cards and announced his combination, as a verdict for guys:
"Royal Flush."
Before Bakugo lay the strongest combination of consecutively laid diamonds: from tens to ace.
Eijiro and Ashido twisted their faces.
Bakugo won. Again...
"Come on. You'll win again someday if I get drunk again." Bakugo shuffled cards after their game.
"Let's repeat it? I want to win back!"
Mina had long gone to her room, leaving guys alone. Eijiro wanted so bad to beat Bakugo. This has already turned into a matter of principle, because Kirishima was clearly less worried about lost money.
He wanted to beat Bakugo.
"Hah, are you sure you wanna lose again?"
"I will NOT lose!" Kirishima was more confident than ever.
"Alright. But we'll play by my rules." Bakugo finally came off the deck of cards.
"What do you mean?"
"We'll play for a desire."
It was the last round of their game. Eijiro was quite pleased with his position, and Bakugo was not inferior.
It's time to open their cards.
With a victorious look, Katsuki laid out a beautiful combination with ladies and jacks in front of him.
"What will you say to that?"
And Kirishima said.
Eijiro laid out a different combination.
"The Royal Flush, Katsuki."
"I told you...wait, what?!"
Bakugo blew himself up and nervously studied the cards lying on the floor.
"You owe me a desire." Kirishima put his hands on the floor, moving closer to Bakugo.
"Hah, go ahead."
Kirishima thought for a couple of seconds and said:
"Kiss Me. Right fucking now."
Bakugo seems a little deaf.
Or he started hallucinating.
But in truth, it no longer mattered either to Katsuki hanging over Eijiro or to Kirishima pressed into the floor, while they both kissed hotly until they lost their breath and pulse.
Extra!
The door to Eijiro's room slammed shut when he was again pressed into some surface.
Katsuki seems to have bitten all of Kirishima's lips in revenge for the latter's unrealistically sharp teeth. But neither one nor the other prevented them from continuing to kiss, raising the temperature around them.
"Well." Bakugo looked up from Kirishima and spoke with a breath. "You recouped? Now I will recoup on you."
What will happen next, we won't find out .. only some of the 1-A students will guess when Bakugo and Kirishima will come to the academy with colored necks..and will require Mina for foundation.
