Calm time, silent time
Living in the Big city is nice, but the country side has it's own charm too.
The sound of the wind and the birds.
The crickets chirping in the night.
Yes, it is nice...but not tonight.
Mansion, night time...
Lasso walked into the mansion. Seems he's the last one. A friend of his was suppose to come but his schedule was packed so Lasso decided to go for him. Their seem to be a few guest all ready. A women dressed in various shades of purple, a man dressed in a fancy suit, a guy who looked like he just got off his shift as a technology building, a teen who looked like he wasn't having a good time and...a child?
Lasso: Why is a younging here?
Lasso decided to walk up to the child, he was shaking and scared.
Lasso: Excuse me? *The boy jumps* Sorry, i didn't mean to scare you?
Boy: Oh um...it's okay..um..Mr..
Lasso: *Smiles kindly* Just call me Lasso.
Samuel: S-Samuel...E-Elena, she's in the kitchen, she is the one brought me here to this party...I don't like this place...
Lasso: Why?
Samuel: The man who lives here is scary...I didn't want to come here but mom is out with dad tonight and I can't be left alone. I miss my mom...
Lasso: Tell you what, why not I stay by you and protect you from the bad people okay.
Samuel: O-Okay. You don't look like a bad person... I like you!
Lasso smiled and the boy chuckled...and then a blood curdling scream disturbed them. Lasso pulled the boy close in a protective manor.
Teen: YOU KILLED HER! SHE'S DEAD! *Runs out* HELP! OH MY GOSH HE KILLED HER! HE STABBED HER TO DEATH WITH A KITCHEN KNIFE!
Samuel: E- Elena?
Lasso looked at the man who came out, he was holding a bloody knife. Lasso grabbed the kid and ran out of the room.
Upstairs Bathroom...
Lasso held the child tight, his mind racing. What just happened? Why did he do that?
Samuel: L-L-Lasso?
Lasso mind return to reality as he thought of the small life he was now protecting. He had to save him.
Lasso: Samuel, I need you to be a brave boy and stay with me okay.
Samuel: *Nods* W-W-What about Elena?
Lasso bit his lip and was about to answer when the crazed man barged in.
Samuel: *Fear/Tears* MOMMY! ELENA! HELP!
Lasso: *Anger: punches the man* YOU AIN'T GETTING THIS INNOCENT CHILD YOU CRIMINAL!
Lasso garbed the child and barged out of the bathroom. Lasso placed the child in large dresser and jumped in, silently closing the door. The child had tears in his eyes.
Lasso: *Quiet shush*
They heard footsteps and then some more.
Tech Guy: AAAAAHHHHHHHH-
The screams were silenced and Lasso hugged the child tight. He waited awhile till the footsteps walked out of the room and far away.
Lasso: Sam...close your eyes.
Samuel: Why?
Lasso: Please...
Samuel nodded and covered his eyes. Lasso opened the door and nearly gaged at the sight. The man was murdered brutally. He slowly avoided the body and went into the hall cautiously.
?: Murderer.
Lasso froze...was their another guest here?! Lasso sighed and went down stairs. He looked into the kitchen and saw a women laying on the ground...Elena. Samuel opened his eyes and started to cry.
Samuel: ELENA! *Goes to her and tries to wake her up* Elena! Please get up...we have to go! Elena!
Lasso walked over and hugged the child tightly.
Lasso: *Comfort* Sam...I am so sorry.
Samuel sniffed a little, but there was no time to grieve...
Suit man: HELP ME!
Lasso flinched and picked up the child again, he went to the stairs to see the suit man fall from them onto the ground...dead. Samuel screamed in fear and Lasso ran out of the house.
?: Let them go!
Outside...
Hidden in the bushes, Lasso and Samuel watched for the killer.
Samuel: L-Lasso...I'm scared...
Lasso: I know but you need to remain calm. He can't hurt you if he can't hear you.
Samuel nodded. Lasso turned to his lift and froze...there was a women, wearing a wedding dress and skin pale.
Lasso: What are you doing here, you need to run!
Killer: FOUND YOU!
The killed ran over when the women went in front and he stabbed her, she vanished and he was left stunned.
Lasso: Sam run!
The two jumped out and ran back in the house, but not before hearing another blood curdling scream of another victim.
Back inside,
Lasso panted as Samuel stood behind him.
Samuel: Lasso, who was that lady?
Lasso: I think this lady is a spirit, she's been gone for a long time little one.
Samuel: Spirit?
Lasso: It's someone who is gone from earth, but can come back as a ghost.
Women's' Voice: N-No..I don't want to-AAHHHHHHHHHH-
Samuel flinched and Lasso grabbed his hand. They ran downstairs and to the one place left...the basement.
Basement...
Lasso and Samuel sighed in relief.
Lasso: I don't think he can find us in here.
Samuel nodded...but then froze in fear.
Samuel: L-L-Lasso...*Points to the wall*
Lasso looked and his face paled. There on the wall chained was the women they saw outside...she was long gone...
Lasso: Land sakes...
Women: I'm sorry you had to see that...
Lasso turned and Samuel squeaked in fear. The was the women spirit again.
Lasso: What the hey is going on?
Spirit Women: I'm so sorry you two got mixed up into this...tragedy. My husband is a psycho killed. We had an arranged marriage. I thought we would be happy...but no. When I cook to load, he harmed me. When I spoke too loud, he harmed me. Whenever I did anything wrong, he harmed me. He finally had enough and locked me in the basement...where i died from blood loss.
Lasso took off his hat.
Lasso: Mame', I am so sorry.
Spirit Women: That is in the past now...you two must escape!
Lasso: I think we can squeeze through the gate...I promise we will get justice for you and the others.
The women nodded. Lasso looked at Samuel, who nodded in determination. The two ran up the stairs.
Outside...
Lasso and Samuel ran towards the gate.
Killer: YOU WILL NOT ESCAPE!
Lasso: Just a little more Sam!
Samuel: *Trips* Oh gosh, I'm losing my balance..epp!
Samuel fell to the ground as Lasso turned and went back to him. He picked him up and ran to the gate, placing through the gate to the other side.
Lasso: Listen, I want you to call the police. I will stall him for as long as I can.
Samuel: B-But-
Lasso: I'll be okay, I promise.
Samuel nodded and ran off. Lasso turned to the killer.
Lasso: *Determined/Anger* COME AND GET ME MONSTER!
They jumped and were ready to collided...
