Prologue

Back then I used to think our existence in our galaxy was anything but important.

As I ran through the large halls of the government sector I could hear the sound of fighting from the walls , the gunfire was loud and the screams of human and beast gave me a sense of dread i noticed a numerous numbers of dead EDF officers, their once blue and metallic armor was now in shreds, arms and legs all over the place, huge blood stains on the walls.

A gruesome scene that I saw over twice now. The grey helmet of my security suit came folding down. I had to hold back a vomit from coming up my throat .

There was hardly anyone left intact. Some looked like they even tried to crawl away, whatever killed them was not merciful.

I continued on down until I made it to the director's beacon, needless to say when I found him in his office..or what's left of him he was headless I took his access codes and started plating the shock drive core and explosives.

"David, has the bombs been planted yet, the Necromorphs are getting close, 29 meters"

I put the final code in and started the countdown.

"Bombs planted, making my way back to the evac shuttles"

I said as I grabbed my pulse rifle. I started running through the exit corridors of the government sector.

I saw the pieces of limbs that had been cut down not human but necromorphs. They spread so far and so fast but not without those fanatics, those damn unitologist who truly have lost their minds declaring war on earthgov, killing innocent civilians, starting outbreaks on multiple colonies.

And yet here I am blowing up a colony just to stop the very monsters from reaching a marker. If that happens...i don't even want to think about it.

"Jones any word from echo team" A team that we had left to defend from the unitologist. " Negative I lost contact with them, I think they-"

Just as he was about to tell me what happened a series of explosions went across the sector, the shockwave had knocked me down.

Shit that hurt I could hear ringing noise from my eardrums. I rub my head from the headache.

"Danm, jones are you there" No response "Jones do you read me" No response, I tried again.

"Jones!"

I was panicking, that was the only evac from this colony. I came to a series of doors. I then saw a window that showed the bridge that Jones and his team was on,to my shock it was completely gone.

"No.no no no no...no" I kneel down and close my eyes, my comrades… my closest friends…. all gone. I was starting to give up.. I didn't continue like this..alone.

30 seconds until core blast.

Then I was reminded of the impending doom that was upon me, I grimaced at the holographic clock on my wrist.

I got back and looked around to see another door leading to the docking area. I had doubts but it was my only hope.

Then by the stroke of luck. I found a crew ship station in, I checked out to see it was functional. It was the GCM Rosetta; it was fully equipped with weapon systems and main battery canon. I had to hurry. I was about 20 seconds in.

I could hear sounds of growls coming down the halls. I quickly began opening the airlock and entered the ship.

Scanning for a second, I ran to the cockpit and initiated a shock point drive. Location to earth near Luna colony.

10, 9, 8,

I made it out the airlock and a shock point had just begun.

Looking at the timer, they were at the same time, I began to pray.

The red light flashed green and I slammed my fist on the damn button.

System flaring, shockpoint had just begun. Then I heard it, the big boom.

I looked out from the rear view camera and saw it go into a big mushroom but that wasn't the only thing I saw a field of energy coming my way. It hits the ship and all sudden everything goes to hell.

I start to lose control of the ship. I just entered shock space.

Warning shock point drive has sustained damage. Please check the drive core.

Blue colors flashed around me and I felt my very being start to pull. I didn't feel like I was going to make it.

I made one last prayer.

"Peace to the fallen"

"Peace to my family'

"Live on to the afterlife"

Then all flash White.

6 hours later after shock unknown location

I flashed my eyes open and I felt the cold metal floor interior on my face , I picked myself up and rubbed my head from the ever-growing headache.

I looked around only to find the ship still intact and checked the damage report from the console.

The drive core is down and I have 89 percent power and one engine is missing.

I don't even want to think where that went and I have cracked windows. I sigh in relief, can't believe I'm alive I just barely made it out with my life and with a ship somewhat intact.

I tried comms but it was all static and field systems was down.. 'Sigh' I guess that shock point overdrives a lot of the systems in here.

Speaking of damages, I tried activating my security suit diagnostic and found it unresponsive and my helmet is malfunctioning too. Add another problem to the list. Hopefully there's a suit station in here and hopefully… there's a suit in there.

I looked through the corridors and actually managed to find a suit station and there was a shockpoint suit in there and a bunch of other suits hanging around.

I took off my security suit and put on the shockpoint with a full function kinesis and stasis.

While going around the armory I found a CEC plasma cutter and an energy blade, hmm... wonder how they got in here. I took it with me for extra firepower, I decided to load up on ammo and prepare to leave the ship.

I pressed the button to the airlock and it opened. What came to a surprise was not a grey landmass but a dessert that looks like something you see in ancient Egypt.

I know it's been a while since I was on the moon but I definitely don't remember a dessert being on there.

Nor do I remember the luna sky looking blue and cloudy like earth.

And I sure as hell don't remember public residential looking so ruin and modern day like... the buildings looked run down and I also see a odd growth of vegetation, definitely a far cry from a tier 3 civilization buildings I seen and not only are they so run down and barely worth standing on, I don't think anyone has been here in a long time, looks so dead and abandon.

Whatever this place is, I have never seen anything like it.

Aside from that I might well look around and hopefully find some sort of relay. I walked into the city and went into a dark ruin building. Certainly all I found was rubble and some sort of metal.

Interesting.

However what caught my eye was what appeared to be a body at first. It laying in a corner to its side , I came in for a closer inspection with my red lights shining on the figure… it was feminine wearing tan clothing.

"Hey" I called out, I kneel beside her and tried to shake her but to my surprise she was kinda heavy not human wise but metal.

I turned her over and to my most utter shock what I expected was not what I got.

She was not human but she was definitely not a Necromorph.

Hey there fellas and gals I'm just a random average Joe writer. I know you guys are wondering Nier A x dead space odd cross over but definitely interesting Kinda weird how both are good franchises but not many good stories, I do hope I continue this and you guys give it a chance not sure how long I can write this but I'll try … if life doesn't try to be a bitch. Please tell me any criticism so I can do better and see you guys in the future.
