3rd Person
It was an average mission for Crime Sorciere, they were finishing up defeating a dark guild when Cobra heard a woman screaming, well, her soul was screaming. What's more is that it sounded like his mates soul, but that was impossible wasn't it? She was back at fairy tail, probably with Salamander and Titania.
Cobras POV
"Agh Fuck!" I yelled as the guy I was fighting got a hit on me. I gotta focus, then I can investigate the sounds coming from the basement.
As far as I can tell this guy is the master of the dark guild we're taking down, based on his skill and power. He's a mind manipulator mage but luckily that magic doesn't work on me because of my sound magic. Because his magic is basically useless against me it's pretty much him doing hand to hand combat against me and my magic, so yea this guys got no chance in hell.
I was able to make quick work of the guilds master and I was able to snag his keys, hopefully one of them is the one to the basement, now I can finally go investigate that sound coming from the basement. I flew down the stairs to the main level and made my way to an iron door. I shuffled through the keys looking for one that looks like it goes to the lock.
When I finally found the right key I opened the door and was immediately hit by the stench of rotting flesh. I covered my nose with my hand and kept going. I eventually got to an area where the walls were lined with what looked like prison cells only smaller. In most of them were corpses but in the one at the very end I saw a glimpse of blonde hair.
I stepped into the cell, which surprisingly wasn't locked, and was appalled at what was in front of me.
"What have they done to you Bright Eyes?" I could barely recognise the woman in front of me. Hanging by chains on her wrists was none other than Lucy of Fairy Tail, covered from head to toe in her own blood. There was hardly a part of her that I felt like I could touch without hurting her. Both of her wrists looked broken along with her right leg and she was covered in what looked like lashes from a whip. She was also completely naked. I'm so gonna make these sick fucks suffer as soon as I help lucy.
My first priority was getting her out of those chains. So I used my poison (lets just pretend that he can switch the type of poison he uses) and made corrosive acid that I lightly put on the chains so it wouldn't touch her. Soon enough she was out of the chains and I was holding the blood covered angel. I slowly set the unconscious woman on the makeshift bed in the corner and tried to find where the bulk of the blood flow was coming from, when I found the large gash on her side it made me feel sicker than I already was. It was about 6-8 inches long and greeny yellow puss and blood was coming out of it. I quickly ripped my shirt and wrapped the cloth around her side to staunch the blood flow.
Jellals POV
Angel and I were fighting off about half of the dark guild members on the main floor when I noticed something shining on a desk in an office type room. We managed to make fairly quick work of our half of the men so I decided to investigate, with Angel following me. Out of the corner of my eye I saw Cobra walking into the basement looking rather concerned, I guess we'll meet him down there when we're done up here. I slowly walk into the room just incase someone happened to be in there but luckily there was not so I made my way over to the desk and picked up the shiny items.
"Wait. These are celestial gate keys." I say stunned at how many there are on just one key ring.
"Well well well I guess I get some new toys for my collection!" Angel said cheerily
"Wait a minute, I only know one person with this many golden gate keys. But that doesn't make any sense, her guild is a couple hours away from here by train." I say starting to get concerned, knowing just what type of people that that girl attracts.
"Who? Why does it matter? Finders keepers right?" Angel asked impatiently
"Lucy Heartfilia of Fairy Tail, and there looks to be a trapping spell on these." I say getting tired of her persistence
"You aren't talking about that little blondie are you? She's practically useless, always having her team or guild save her!" Angel exclaimed
"You're wrong, she closed the eclipse gate with her own power, she's defeated you, and shes the strongest celestial mage know to man." I say feeling fed up with her attitude
"B-bu-but" Sputtered Angel
"No buts...Ahah" I say as I successfully release the trapping spell from the keys
Suddenly a golden light fills the room
"WHERE IS SHE?" Loke exclaims with worry clear on his face. As he turns to face Angel anger is visible on his features
"What did you do to her?" He asks in a deadly quiet voice
"N-nothing" Angel sputters as Loke looks skeptical
"She's telling the truth." I say, staying as calm as I can
"We were taking out this dark guild when I saw something shiny and when I went to investigate I found her keys with a trapping spell on them, and then as soon as i released the spell you appeared. That's all we know." I explain, careful of my word choice as I don't know what will set off the angry cat
"Hmm" Loke says quietly
"Thank you...For releasing the spell." He says after a few minutes of thinking
"The last time I came out I think she was in the basement." He says as he starts running
"Well let's go." I say to Angel who still isn't happy about the situation at hand
As we enter the basement it reeks of rotting flesh. We walk down the corridor following Loke until eventually he stops dead in his tracks.
"What the...Oh no..." I say as I lay my eyes on the last cell on the wall, but it's not the cell itself that earned that reaction, no, it's the people inside the cell. Inside the cell was Cobra gently holding what I assume to be Lucy but I can't really tell through all of the blood.
"Oh my" Angel said holding back a either a laugh or a cry, I can't tell.
"Lucy..." Is all Loke managed to choke out before he rushed to cobras side
"You're one of her spirits." Cobra stated
"What happened to her?" Cobra asked but growled as loke stepped closer
"I-I wasn't able to save her" With that Loke broke down crying
"She saved my goddamned life but I wasn't able to save her from those horrible people!" Loke exclaimed as he falls down to his knees
I had never seen the playboy like this before, so utterly defeated
"Hey! Get up. Bright Eyes wouldn't want you to sulk over it now would she?" Cobra said rather calmly with Lucy still in his arms.
"You're right but I still failed her." Loke said drying his tears
"Bright Eyes probably forgives too easily, you'll be fine. Now what happened?" Cobra demanded
"Well"
Lokes POV
"You know how celestial magic is used in many spells from the book of Zeref. Well you guys would know that better than anyone, wouldn't you?" Loke looked at Angel and Cobra accusingly
"Look man I know what we've done in the passed is really really REALLY fucked up but please just tell me what happened to Bright Eyes." Cobra pleaded
"Ok sure, sorry. Anyway Lucy was on a mission with just Natsu, not even Happy came along. Their job was to capture a few rouge bandits but it all went wrong. One of the bandits was a mind manipulator mage and after he saw what magic Lucy uses he manipulated Natsu into calling Lucy weak and leaving her behind. Natsu doesn't even remember what happened, because when I went to the guild after she was captured he said he couldn't remember hardly anything from the mission just that they got lucy and there was nothing he could do against them. But that was I think 3 Months ago in Earthland time." I said ashamed that I couldn't do anything to help my princess
"She's been missing for 3 months? Why did no one tell us?" Jellal said almost accusingly
"I'm not sure, all I know is that all guilds that are allies of Fairy Tail are looking out for her. Speaking of fairy tail I need to go tell them she's okay." Loke exclaimed
"No, not yet anyways. She's got a crazy ass team and we don't know what her mental states gonna be like." Cobra said logically
"Thats fair, but as soon as she wakes up and we know her mental state I need to tell Fairy Tail. They've been worried to death about her." I said
"Okay sounds like a plan. Now we gotta get Bright Eyes away from this place and to a healer fast." Cobra said almost panicked
