(A/N) sooo, let me explain a bit. In this Fanfic, the Main characters are, an OC I made named Yuki Ashwood, And the Queen and King of crime Harley and of course, the good old Joker. Without further adieu, let's begin.

Our story begins with an 11 year old girl asleep in her twin sized bed, snoring up a storm.

"YUKI. UP. NOW!"

"Mmmmm... Okay, I'm up."

"YES MA-"

"I mean yes ma'am."

"Get down here, and don't interrupt me."

"Yes...ma'am."

She sat up and ran to her bathroom. One of 5, for, her family was quite wealthy. One of their corresponding maids set her up a dress. After sliding on the dress she could see that the frilly white bottom half and corset would be over the top, at the vary least. Once she was able to get it loose enough to breathe, she looked in the mirror to see a perfectly white face starring back at her. The piercing ruby-like eyes would give anyone a scare. She looked like a doll. And felt like one. She got her mother's beautiful porcelain face, as well as her eye colour. And her father's golden hair, It shone in pitch darkness.

Even if mother hated it, she would often put her hair in low pigtails, because 1. It looked quite nice on her, and 2. It would enrage her family.

Two deep breaths later she felt ready to step into her mother's grasps.

She walked out into her positively perfect room. It was slightly small, with a twin bed on the right side bottom corner. The white walls could nearly reflect the lights omitting from the ceiling fan and windows of which where in the middle of every wall in the square shaped room. A backpack sat next to one of the two dressers on either side of her door. Yuki grabbed it and walked out in as orderly of a fashion as humanly possible for an 11 year old who just awoke on a Monday.

She trecked in the hall way untill a spiral staircase stood in front of her small figure. Someone dusting could be clearly heard downstairs. It was so quiet her ears started to ring. Not wanting to be punished, she hopped down the stone cold brick stairs. After getting to the last one she looked up to see a women in her late 30's glaring at her. "Come." Her mother ordered at her, barely opening her mouth. Yuki did as told without uttering a word and sat on the nearby chair next to a stone table with her back slightly slouching. Her mother, unfortunately, took notice of that and attempted to stomp on her daughter's foot with her high heel.

Yuki, however, was ready for this small assault and moved her foot well before the blow. She had gotten freakishly good at avoiding attacks from people in her bloodline. As her mother anticipated, she followed in her older brother's footsteps, in him being good at self defence. However, he would consistently act as his mother wanted him too. She signed him up for self defence when he was 8 and he, quite literally, kicked butt. When he was 12, he saved a kid from being beaten to a bloody pulp. Soon he moved out and became a Superhero. Much to his parents delight. Yuki, hasn't taken any type of class for self defence, and frankly, didn't need to. Her dodging came in useful once when she was 9 and got attacked by a rude teenager on her walk home from school. He ended up calling a few of his equality pimpley friends and they tried to throw stones at her. None of which actually hit.

In the current situation, her mother had grown tired of her and told her to get to school. Yuki bowed her head down and replied "Yes ma'am" much to her mother's surprise. Little did she know that Yuki was only bowing her head to hide the grin that began to form on her face.

Sliding out of the chair, Yuki quickly walked to the nearby guest room and slid on Mary Janes that had belonged to her cousin who had visited last week. She than walked outside into the cold December air. Her school was only a few streets away so she could easily walk instead of riding by bus, or car. Only after she ran by Apricot Lane, did she think it was safe to start talking to herself. That was a little problem she picked up, after all, she didn't have anyone in her life to talk too. Her mother was out of the question. Her father is always out working, and she didn't have any friends at school. She couldn't quite tell why no one liked her. Her first thought was that her classmates didn't like how formal she was. But she later heard gossip about her saying she was completely mental. So she assumes its that they all think she's crazy. Which even she could admit that she seemed odd.

After a bit of talking and mostly thinking, she arrived at school. It looked a little cheap but it was likely the best education she had hope of getting so she didn't mind. After all, it's 100% free of anybody who wants to see her dead which is likely a hard kind of place to find. She stepped forward onto the full parking lot and pushed open the door that read "pull to open", most things in her school worked like that actually.

School for her was often vary interesting. For one, she didn't get tormented nearly as much as she expected. Only once or twice a week would she get physically attacked, and not once did anyone even touch her so she felt safe-ish. In the middle of one of her history lessons the fire alarm went off for a scheduled drill. Most of the 1st graders and below however, didn't know what a drill was and cried the entire time.

At recess she would often sit far away from anyone else and just watch. Furthermore marking her seem more crazy.

The way home was just as it was when she was going to school. Sometimes she would see someone trying to rob a store or break into a home, in Gotham it was quite common. A large gate could be seen in the distance belonging to the Ashwood family. She typed in the 12 character long password and slowly it opened. She walked past the large group of cars and opened the front door. Stepping in quietly, she could hear small scribbles in the distance. Yuki opened the door to the dining room filled with multiple paintings and in the middle Sat her mother with her brown hair pinned into a tight bun and her red eyes glossing a large sheet of paper.

"Hello. Mother"

"..."

"What does that paper say?"

"Bruce Wayne invited us to a dinner."

Yuki was so surprised she choked on her own saliva. "B...ack! Bruce Wayne!"

"Yes, and he wants to discuss Kasai..."

"My brother?! What does the invitation say?"

"Well that's none of your business. Now go to your room and get ready. We leave at 7:00 PM."

"Yes mother."

Yuki bolted to her room without any further questions. She knew the shock of getting invited was why her mother wasn't as foul as normal and she didn't want to push her luck.

When she climbed up the stairs she could tell that the hall had recently been cleaned, for it smelled of bleach. She opened her door and nearly fell over running in. Her alarm clock read 4:00 PM.

"Three hours Yuki, where's your closet?" She began.

Then she walked up to the closet door and opened it to see 53 dresses in counting. The most over the top certainly being a navy blue dress that had white gems attached to the rim of the skirt that went down to Yuki's shins and a Cupid's Bow cut. The sleeves exposed her shoulders and went over her wrists. The soft material was a nice change from her normal clothes. Matching shoes below it had star shaped gems attached to a slight high heeled black boot. After roughly an hour of struggling she was able to get it on and put up nicer looking pigtails. They where high, and reached her elbows. Her golden locks shone against the light and complemented the dress and shoes vary well. After getting ready. She grabbed her bag and began her homework. About 1 hour and 30 minutes later she finished it and realized her clock read 6:32.

She had gotten over the excitement of the idea of going to Wayne Mannor and now felt like it would be lacklusterer, knowing her mom, she would just dump Yuki outside untill it was time to get back home. The only real thing she looked forward to was meeting the kids there. She, of course, knew Dick Grayson and Jason Todd. But she was also curious to see if anyone else would be there. Yuki's thoughts where cut off by her mother.

"Get down here! We're leaving soon!"

Yuki quickly discovered that her mother's good mood was short lived.

When she arrived at the dining table, where her mother was most of the the time, she could see someone who didn't even remotely look like a bad person. She had long Brunette hair that covered most of her back. Red eyes that still looked vary intimidating. A red Trumpet/Mermaid Sleeveless Jewel Court Train Elastic Woven Satin Dress. And a matching Tulle hair piece.

She gave Yuki a glare after looking at her hair and said, "You look... acceptable. Now follow me."

Yuki did as she was told and followed her mother into a roomy white car. She sat down in the back seat while her mother accompanied the passenger. Soon a butler Yuki knew as Alphe emerged from the house looking formal as ever. When he entered the car he tried to say somthing but Yuki's mother cut him off.

"To Wayne Mannor." She said swiftly.

Soon, Yuki and Her mother had arrived at the place and they got out to see a Gray haired elder man greeting them.

"Salutations, Mrs. Ashwood, Master Bruce is inside now. Would you like me to escort you to him?"

"No thank you. I first would like a word with my daughter."

"As you wish."

After he left her Yuki's mother turned around and glared at her daughter.

You will act lady like. You will not disrupt me. You will not attempt anything I don't allow." "In the case that you do, I won't hesitate to leave you in the streets." That was a common threat her mother told her.

"Yes moth-" "yes ma'am."

She grabbed Yuki's wrist and practically dragged her onto the entryway. Where she let go of her. Yuki stood up tall and put her hands together behind her back. The large door opened and Bruce Wayne stepped out and greeted her mother. He turned around to walk into the house. When they followed him, Yuki accidentally let out a loud exhale and got her foot stomped on. She would have avoided it if she didn't feel like moving in a different way would make her fall over. She bit her bottom lip and almost teared up. Soon they all where in the main room where Yuki saw two people chatting and leaning against the wall. But before she could recognize them Bruce told them that they needed to move to a different building, where they could discuss somthing about her father's company. Apparently other people also need to discuss the matter and they where all ready at the other place. Some people thought that Yuki's father stole somthing of a villain's and that he was sure to be killed. Now that that rumour gotten popular, more and more people thought it was true and it got turned into gossip.

Soon they were all put in cars and transported into a mediocre sized building. The car ride was eerily quiet, the lingering feeling of fear pulling at Yuki. Her mother sat next to her while a different butler was driving in the front seat. When they arrived at the destination. Just as Yuki and her mother walked out onto the parking lot her mother just glared at her.

Just than her mother kicked her with her high heel and it drew blood.

"THAT'S IT! I can't deal with you! I've given up on you. I've got your brother to take care of me when I grow old. What are you good for!"

"What do you mean what am I good for?

"I gave birth to you so you could make me money, you aren't lady like enough to even say 'excuse me'! I'm obviously not going to break you!" "I should just leave you! In fact, I will."

"You know what? I'm sick of your whole 'lady like' sharad! It's stupid that I should act like a pretty little princess! I'm not your doll, you can't force me to act like that, you can't dress me up in your old dresses!" "If you think you should leave me, why don't I leave you. Goodbye!"

Yuki stormed out onto the pavement of the sidewalk. She had decided to leave, go to the orphanage and live a better life. Obviously the few people outside where concerned that a child was outside on her own running to who knows where. Fortunately, no one around even talked to her so she could easily get to the subway station. Only after she walked close to the train did she realize that she didn't have any money and couldn't get onto the subway.

"What do I do!? God danm it! Ugh,"

She sat down on the bench in the station just to think. Then she looked up to see a scared group of 10 or so people waiting for somthing and she got an idea.

"Bingo!"

She jumped up from the bench and walked nonchalantly to the nearby group. No one could notice her thanks to her lacking hight. In all of the chatter and worrying she was able to pick pocket a wallet from a shorter man with a green coat. Then she just as successfully backed out and sat back down on the bench.

"Hmmmm... $35! Sweet! And a card!"

Yuki had seen people enter and exit the subway before so she could get on the train with minimal effort. Since only one other person was inside she could sit down on a seat and wait the few hours it would take to get to her destination. Finally, she could cry, it was too much to bare, an entourage of emotions was flowing through her. For one, she was happy to leave the horrible prison that was her life. On the other side she was scared, what would she do now that she was an orphan? The water fall of questions stopped when she heard an unfamiliar voice greet her.

"Hello, ya shouldn't be here on your own, are you okay?"

"Hmmm? Oh yes, I'm fine. And I really have no choice but to be here. Heh."

"Is that so...? I don't suppose you're go'n to the orphanage?"

"How did you know?"

"I can read expressions well, ya see, I work at Arkhem Asylum."

"I figured, you're still wearing the uniform."

"Oh..."

As if on cue, the train stopped and the stranger got up to leave.

"The names' Harleen. But you can call me Harley, everyone does, Goodbye...?"

"Yuki."

"Goodbye Yuki!"

With that, Harleen left and Yuki was alone in the train, she got a look at the clock in the station before the train left and it read 8:24 PM. From what she knew, the stop that was closest to the orphanage was about 1 hour away so she had plenty of time to prepare to explain her situation.

-time skip-

Yuki was thinking about how everything was going to go when the train stopped abruptly almost marking her fall down.

"I guess im here."

She stood up and walked out of the vehicle to a slightly nicer looking station than the one of which she entered the train. Unlike the other one, no trash could be seen on the ground, and a small cheap TV was positioned near the ceiling. The channel was GCN (gotham cable news) and they where reporting a bombing that took place in the middle of a meeting.

"Only a few people in the building survived, Bruce Wayne-"

"Wait, BRUCE WAYNE?!" Yuki was dumbfounded when somthing in her mind clicked

"The deaths of the explosion are Melinda Ashwood, Kasai Ashwood, yes, the one that has been a vary large help to our city, and Jeffery Ashwood. Currently the building is still on fire and Gotham' s police are still searching for survivors."

"Oh. My. Lord."

Yuki couldn't believe what she just heard. Her mother and father where found dead! As much as she didn't want to admit it, she was alarmingly happy.
